I dont know if anyone has sent an ask about that but im one hundred percent sure that black pirates are ateez and the only reason they act like detectives is to protect themselves and their upper gang (iirc the name was white circle)
Also i really liked your characterization, like more than half of them hate the ocs guts but they show it in their own ways and the characters tho have similarities are not superficial nor the same as each other.
And i love how strong-willed and determinded our oc is, love to see a strong character who has morals and isnt afraid to break the rules for the "justice"
Lastly the urge to punch mingi, yunho, jongho, yeo, hwa, joong (i cant ever forgive that scene where he grabed her by the arm and threw her out the door) and chan (transfering someone for such a lame reason deserves a slap at least lol) is so strong and it gets harder to control with each chapter
Nfiaieb FIRST OFF THIS IS THE FIRST ASK IVE GOTTEN ABOUT THEORIES OF CIY AND IM SO HAPPY YOU DID.
Of course I can't spoil anything BUT I adore hearing your theories!!
I will say you are correct in one thing, they are protecting themselves and for different reasons. I try to showcase that in the ways they react to mc and reject her, incorporating their past and current present into the way they act and treat her.
The best example I can give would probably be Yunho. His father was a former cop and is the reason he followed in his father's footsteps, but his "beef" with the mafia world is also the easiest to guess considering how his father died. I really thought so hard about their backstories and the mafia gangs and what they do and I try to incorporate the hints both for you guys and mc as best I can without just giving things away-
And I absolutely adore the MC too she came out even better than I hoped for! A strong moral compass, headstrong and a big heart and she's hella fierce and stubborn too. I wanted to showcase that while she is all that, it does backfire. I can't exactly appease your urge to fight any of them cuz me too fam, but Chan and her previous unit will be making some more appearances and giving insight to what all really happened. Not just for you readers, but also for ATZ. 🥰
And I'm so excited to see how they'll react to these pieces hehe!
I may have also spoiled a little here and there but I don't think anything major. Definitely got too excited about this so thank you do much! I hope this helps your theories but also leaves you with more questions and anticipation!
6 more days and chapter 10 shall drop! Look forward to it!!

High speed star formation Gas clouds in the Cygnus X Region, a region where stars form, are composed of a dense core of molecular hydrogen (H2) and an atomic shell. These ensembles of clouds interact with each other dynamically in order to quickly form new stars. That is the result of observations conducted by an international team led by scientists at the University of Cologne’s Institute of Astrophysics and at the University of Maryland. Until now, it was unclear how this process precisely unfolds. The Cygnus X region is a vast luminous cloud of gas and dust approximately 5,000 light years from Earth. Using observations of spectral lines of ionized carbon (CII), the scientists showed that the clouds have formed there over several million years, which is a fast process by astronomical standards. The results of the study ‘Ionized carbon as a tracer for the assembly of interstellar clouds’ will appear in the next issue of Nature Astronomy. The paper is already accessible online. The observations were carried out in an international project led by Dr Nicola Schneider at the University of Cologne and Prof Alexander Tielens at the University of Maryland as part of the FEEDBACK programme on board the flying observatory SOFIA (Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy). The new findings modify previous perceptions that this specific process of star formation is quasi-static and quite slow. The dynamic formation process now observed would also explain the formation of particularly massive stars. By comparing the distribution of ionized carbon, molecular carbon monoxide and atomic hydrogen, the team found that the shells of interstellar gas clouds are made of hydrogen and collide with each other at speeds of up to twenty kilometres per second. “This high speed compresses the gas into denser molecular regions where new, mainly massive stars form. We needed the CII observations to detect this otherwise ‘dark’ gas,” said Dr Schneider. The observations show for the first time the faint CII radiation from the periphery of the clouds, which could not be observed before. Only SOFIA and its sensitive instruments were capable of detecting this radiation. SOFIA was operated by NASA and the German Aerospace Center (DLR) until September 2022. The observatory consisted of a converted Boeing 747 with a built-in 2.7-metre telescope. It was coordinated by the German SOFIA Institute (DSI) and the Universities Space Research Association (USRA). SOFIA observed the sky from the stratosphere (above 13 kilometres) and covered the infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum, just beyond what humans can see. The Boeing thus flew above most of the water vapour in the Earth’s atmosphere, which otherwise blocks out infrared light. This allowed the scientists to observe a wavelength range that is not accessible from Earth. For the current results, the team used the upGREAT receiver installed on SOFIA in 2015 by the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy in Bonn and the University of Cologne. Even though SOFIA is no longer in operation, the data collected so far are essential for basic astronomical research because there is no longer an instrument that extensively maps the sky in this wavelength range (typically 60 to 200 micrometres). The now active James Webb Space Telescope observes in the infrared at shorter wavelengths and focuses on spatially small areas. Therefore, the analysis of the data collected by SOFIA is ongoing and continues to provide important insights – also regarding other star-forming regions: “In the list of FEEDBACK sources, there are other gas clouds in different stages of evolution, where we are now looking for the weak CII radiation at the peripheries of the clouds to detect similar interactions as in the Cygnus X region,” Schneider concluded.

Over 50% of individuals got Tax refunds in a month: Survey
Over 50% of individuals and more than 80% of CII survey respondents said they had more faith in the tax department because they had received income tax refunds in less than a month for over half of individuals and 45% of businesses. Faster return processing and issue of refunds has been a thrust area for the government and the survey indicates that the feedback has been positive. Refunds could…

What is Consumer Protection Act and its benefits?
What is consumer protection Importance of consumer protection Legal protection to consumersConsumer rights
  Consumer Protection
Consumers are said to be the king in a free market economy, The earlier approach of Caveat Emptor which means ‘Let the buyer beware’ has now changed to Caveat Venditor which means ‘Let the seller beware’.
With growing competition and increased sales and market share, manufacturers and service providers are engaged in unhealthy, exploitative and unfair trade practices. This means that a consumer might be exposed to risk due to unsafe products, misleading advertisements etc. Thus, there is a need for providing adequate protection to consumers against such practices of the sellers.
Consumer protection refers to ‘the protection of physical, economic and other interest of the consumers from exploitation by the Business community’. The consumers are being protected by restricting the mall practices through legislature and other measures.
Consumer protection has a wide agenda. It not only includes educating consumers about their and responsibility but also helps in getting grievances redressed.
Consumer protection has a special significance to both consumers and business persons.
From the view of consumers.
The importance of consumer protection from the view of consumers are,
    1. Consumer Ignorance
There is a widespread ignorance of consumers about their rights and reliefs available to them, it becomes necessary to educate them about it to achieve consumer awareness.
   2. Unorganized consumers
Consumers need to be organized in the form of consumer organizations which would take care of their interest. In India, there are many consumer organizations which are working in this direction, adequate protection is required to be given to consumers till these organizations become powerful enough to protect and promote the interest of consumers.
   3. Widespread exploitation of consumers
Consumers might be exploited by unscrupulous, exploitative and unfair trade practices like defective and unsafe products’ adulteration, false and misleading advertising, hoarding, black marketing etc.
From the point of view of business community
A Business must also lay emphasis on protecting the consumers and adequately satisfying them because of the following,
   1. Long term interest of business
Modern business realizes that it is in their long term interest to satisfy their customers. Satisfied customers not only lead to repeat sales but also provide good feedback to prospective customers and thus helps in increasing the customer base of business.
Thus, business firms should aim at long term profit maximization through customer satisfaction.
   2. Business uses society resources
Business organizations use resources which belong to the society. Thus, they have the responsibility to supply such products and render such services which are in public interest and would not damage public conscience in them.
   3. Social responsibility
A business has social responsibilities towards various interest groups. Business organizations make money by selling goods and providing services to consumers. So it is important to look after the society to protect their business.
   4. Moral justification
It is the moral duty of any business to  take care of consumers’ interest and avoid any form of their exploitative action. Thus, a business must avoid unfair trade practices towards consumers at their interest.
   5. Government intervention
A business engaging in any form of exploitative trade practices would invite government action. This can damage the company’s image and reputation. Thus, it is advisable that business companies voluntarily follow such practices where a consumer’s needs and interest will well be taken care of.
The Indian legal framework consists of a number of regulations which provide protection to consumers. The legal protections are,
The Consumer Protection Act -1986
The Indian Contract Act -1872
The Sale of Goods Act -1930
The Essential Commodities Act -1955
The Agricultural Produce Grading and Marketing Act -1937
The Prevention of Food Adulteration Act -1954
The Standards  of Weights and Measures Act -1954
The Trademark Act -1999
The Competition Act -2002
The Bureau of Indian Standards Act -1986
The consumer protection act provides for six rights of consumers such as,
    1. Right to safety
The consumer has a right to be protected against goods and services which are hazardous to life and health. Products which are manufactured with substandard products or do not conform to safety norms might cause serious injury. Thus, consumers are educated to use products with safety assurance such as ISI mark etc.
   2. Right to be informed
The consumer have right to have complete information about the products, he intends to buy including its ingredients date of manufacture, price, quantity and direction for use etc
   3. Right to choose
The consumer has the freedom to choose from a variety of products at competitive prices. This implies that the marketers should offer a wide variety of products in terms of quality brand, prices, size etc and allow the consumer to make a choice from amongst these.
   4. Right to be heard
Consumers have a right to file a complaint and to be heard in case of dissatisfaction with a good or service. It is because of this reason that many modern business firms have set up their own consumer services and grievance cells. Many consumer organizations are also working towards this direction and helping consumers in redressal of their grievance.
   5. Right to seek redressal
The consumer has a right to get relief in case the product and services fall short of his expectations. The consumer protection act provides a number of reliefs to the consumers including replacement of goods, compensation paid for any loss or injury suffered by the consumer etc.
   6. Right to consumer education
The consumer has a right to acquire knowledge and to be a well-informed consumer throughout life. He should be aware about his rights and reliefs available to him in case of products or services falling short of his expectations.
Who can file a complaint
Any consumer can file a complaint on his own or her own and does not require the services of advocate or professionals.
Any registered consumer association. The central government or any state government.
One or more consumers on behalf of numerous consumers having the same interest.
A complaint under sec-2(B) of the consumer protection act 1986.
After all it’s the responsibility of the business community to look after the consumer rights, safety and interest for a long term functioning of the company so that the company does not drop its increasing consumers. The associations of trade, commerce and business like Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce of India(FICCI) and Consideration of Indian Industries(CII) have laid down their code of conduct for their members, the guidelines in their dealings with the customers. So for every health working of a company to require to follow every code of conduct against the consumers. Consumers are the base of working of a company so it is nearly very important to maintain their protection in every possible way in its scope of working.

The number of districts with no cases in last 14 days has also increased to 78. Government officials said it has been able to "cut coronavirus transmission", minimise its spread and increase the doubling time of COVID-19 cases in the country during the 30-day period of the nationwide lockdown. 07:10 (IST) Coronavirus in India Latest Updates India reports highest single-day spike of COVID-19 cases at 1,752  The claims made by the MHA on no new confirmed COVID-19 cases in at least 80 districts came alongside the fact that India reported its highest single-day spike in cases on Friday. The toll due to the novel coronavirus rose to 723 with 37 fatalities reported since Thursday evening, while the number of cases saw a record jump of 1,752 increasing the confirmed cases in the country to 23,452 cases, according to data from the health ministry. The previous highest single day increase was on 20 April when 1,540 cases were reported. 07:07 (IST) Coronavirus in India Latest Updates No new COVID-19 cases in 80 dists during last 14 days of lockdown: MHA As the nation completed a month in lockdown, health ministry said today that without it, India would have had at least one lakh cases by now. The ministry also claimed that the in the last 28 days, as many as 15 districts have had no new case, while there are 80 districts in the country that have not reported any new coronavirus case in the last 14 days. Coronavirus Outbreak LATEST Updates: The home ministry on Friday allowed reopening of all shops in residential and market complexes outside municipal limits and all neighbourhood shops within municipal limits of non-containment zones to open during the lockdown. However this concession has not been extended to single and multi-brand malls outside municipal limits and single-brand and multi-brand malls as well as market complexes within municipal limits. As the nation completed a month in lockdown, health ministry said today that without it, India would have had at least one lakh cases by now. The ministry also claimed that the in the last 28 days, as many as 15 districts have had no new case, while there are 80 districts in the country that have not reported any new coronavirus case in the last 14 days. However, these claims came alongside the fact that India reported its highest single-day spike in cases on Friday. The death toll due to the novel coronavirus rose to 723 with 37 fatalities reported since Thursday evening, while the number of cases saw a record jump of 1,752 increasing the confirmed cases in the country to 23,452 cases, according to data from the health ministry. The previous highest single day increase was on 20 April w hen 1,540 cases were reported. In a late night order, in what seems to be the beginning of the end of the lockdown, the Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday ordered the exemption of all shops under the Shops and Establishment Act of States/UTs, including shops in residential complexes and market complexes — except shops in multi-brand and single-brand malls — outside limits of municipal corporations, from revised consolidated lockdown restrictions. One month into lockdown, concerns over economic impact grow After 30 days of lockdown, a high-level group of top bureaucrats, comprising of Union Home Secretary and his counterpart in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, reviewed measures to speed up economic and industrial activities and held a video conference with representatives of industry associations. Home Ministry Joint Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava said feedback is being taken from industrial units and their problems are being addressed. She said certain quarters of the industry and exporters have raised concerns over some new guidelines, saying it was difficult for them to implement those for partial resumption of their factory operations. Srivastava said progress in economic activities, especially in rural areas, is being witnessed, and added that road construction, brick kilns and cement manufacturing related works have also started. Later in the evening, the Home Ministry also clarified that some lockdown guidelines have been misinterpreted and no legal action will be taken against a company CEO, nor a factory will be sealed, in case an employee tests positive for COVID-19. In another significant decision, the government froze inflation-linked allowance for its 1.1 crore employees and pensioners, a move states are likely to replicate, in order to save a combined Rs 1.2 lakh crore. Industry body CII said India's GDP, in the baseline scenario, is expected to grow at just 0.6 percent on an annual basis as economic activity is expected to remain constrained due to continuing restrictions on the free movement of goods and people beyond the lockdown period. In the most optimistic scenario, which envisages a faster pick-up in the aftermath of the lockdown, the GDP is expected to register a growth of 1.5 percent. In case of a more prolonged outbreak, where the restrictions in existing hotspot regions get extended, while new regions are identified as ‘hotspots' leading to intermittent stop and start in economic activity, the GDP is likely to decline by 0.9 percent, it added. Separately, Fitch Ratings also slashed India's growth projection to 0.8 per cent for 2020-21, saying that an unparalleled global recession was underway due to disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic and resultant lockdowns. India reports highest single-day spike, but rate of recovery improving According to a PTI tally of figures announced by various states and union territories, the number of confirmed cases has reached 23,577 with at least 743 deaths, while nearly 5,000 patients have recovered and have been discharged. Maharashtra alone has reported more than 6,400 cases and at least 283 deaths, while Gujarat has seen over 2,600 confirmed infections with over 100 deaths and Delhi has more than 2,300 cases with 50 deaths. Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu have also reported large number of cases. Health Ministry Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal, however, said that the rate of recovery has improved to 19.89 percent, from 9.99 percent ten days ago on 14 April, while 12 districts have reported not a single case in the last 28 days. The number of districts with no cases in last 14 days has also increased to 78. Government officials said it has been able to "cut coronavirus transmission", minimise its spread and increase the doubling time of COVID-19 cases in the country during the 30-day period of the nationwide lockdown. While asserting that the growth of coronavirus cases in the country has been more or less linear and not exponential, it also said testing has been ramped up consistently. Addressing a daily press conference on the COVID-19 situation in the country, CK Mishra, the chairman of Empowered Group Two, said testing has been a "crucial weapon" during the 30-day lockdown period, which began on 25 March 24, to ascertain if one has contracted the disease or not. As on 23 March, nearly 15,000 tests were done across the country and by 22 April more than 5 lakh tests were conducted, which is about "33 times in 30 days", he said, adding, "But we are conscious of the fact that this is not enough and we have to continuously ramp up testing in the country and we will do that." One of the empowered groups formed to suggest measures to ramp up healthcare, put the economy back on track and reduce misery of people once the lockdown is lifted, Empowered Group Two is tasked with coordinating availability of hospitals, isolation and quarantine facilities, disease surveillance, testing and critical care training. "The growth of COVID-19 cases has been more or less linear, not exponential; this indicates that the strategies we adopted have succeeded in containing the infection to a particular level. Post imposition of lockdown, while the number of new positive cases has increased by 16 times, testing increased by 24 times," Mishra added. "Despite a 24-fold increase in testing, the percentage of positive cases is not rising. The percentage of positive cases as a ratio of testing is more or less the same as that a month ago," he said. Mishra also claimed that India has done better than a majority of developed countries with respect to the percentage of test cases yielding positive results. He said South Korea is among the countries that have done better than India. "We need to evolve our strategy based on the current position... We seem to be doing well so far with our strategy which is intensely focused on areas where we see a lot of positivity and action happening. Our testing strategy has been focused, targeted and continues to expand," he said. Situation in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Surat 'especially concerning' The COVID-19 situation is “especially serious” in major or emerging hotspots like Ahmedabad, Surat, Hyderabad, Chennai and Thane, the Centre said on Friday, as it rushed inter-ministerial central teams(IMCT) to monitor the situation in these cities. The assessment by the MHA came on a day when Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner Vijay Nehra said the number of COVID-19 patients in the Gujarat capital may grow to eight lakh by the end of May if the current four-day period of doubling of the cases continues. So far, Ahmedabad city has reported 1,638 cases, the highest in Gujarat which accounted for over 2,600 infections. Four teams headed by Additional Secretary-level officers will visit Ahmedabad, Surat, Hyderabad and Chennai, MHA Joint Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava told a press conference. These teams will be in addition to the six IMCTs constituted earlier, she said. The teams have been constituted for a spot assessment of the COVID-19 hotspot districts. The six teams are in Mumbai, Pune (Maharashtra), Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Jaipur (Rajasthan) and West Bengal (one team for Kolkata and adjoining districts and the other for North Bengal). The team in Mumbai will also visit Thane. Political nitpicking over crisis continues Political nitpicking gained steam on Friday as several non-BJP ruled states alleged partisan behaviour by the Central Government. Meanwhile, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee was locked in a tussle with the state's governor Jagdeep Dhankhar. Congress president Sonia Gandhi accused the BJP of spreading the virus of communal prejudice and hatred in the country, asserting that "grave damage" is being done to India's social harmony. Rahul Gandhi said issues of migrant workers must be addressed as the first priority and lockdown beyond 3 May should only be continued in COVID-19 hotspots and not in green zones, while his sister and Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra demanded that migrant workers stuck at various state borders due to the lockdown be permitted to return to their native places after due testing and precautions. Chief ministers of Congress-ruled states, on the other hand, hit out at the Central Government for not providing financial assistance to them, asking how will the country win the battle against COVID-19 in this time of crisis. West Bengal governor Dhankhar mounted a fresh assault on West Bengal chief minister after her missive on Thursday where she accused him of "repeatedly interfering" in the functioning of her government and reminded him she is the elected chief minister of a proud state and he is a nominated governor. Dhankhar said the chief minister's "outburst" is an alibi strategy to cover up "monumental failures" in tackling the  COVID-19 pandemic in the state. Urging the TMC supremo "to shun politics and confrontational approach", Dhankhar said her conduct is only compounding the miseries of the people. He also accused her of "explicitly appeasing" the minority community, while referring to the Tablighi Jamaat congregation in New Delhi, which has often been blamed for the spurt in the novel coronavirus cases. There have been allegations from various quarters that the state government is hiding coronavirus cases and deaths. Banerjee had earlier slammed the Centre for sending the teams to look into the states preparedness for tackling the COVID-19 outbreak and alleged that faulty testing kits were dispatched to the state. i hate horror movies, but now i feel like i have been in one
Tumblr media
A/N: i cant believe that i almost watched the Exorcist for the first god damn time in my life... but anyway my big thing is what little i saw in clips of the movie terrified the living daylights out of me... for this story i took a different approach, you could kind of say i did it as a Supernatural DCEU crossover... plucking the reality we all know and ‘love’ and twisting it into an obscure viewpoint. feedback appreciated... this is for @thing-you-do-with-that-thing Kari’s Supernatral Halloween Challenge... this is for you girl!!!!
pairing: Jensen x reader
prompt: “what an excellent day for an exorcism.” ~The Exorcist (1973)
word count:
masterlist
its been several months since it happened, since you & your fiance found yourselves not where you had been but found yourselves in a most terrifying paradox...
but thats way past where i want to start my story, let me take you back to the day it all happened... warning what i am about to tell you may be something that most people would find most horrific and completely bizarre...
Jensen & you for like 3 months now had been going through the motions of being a newly engaged couple... Planning the wedding was slow, steady and stressful.
Jensen is the love of your life, you believe that everything happens & everyone comes into your life for a reason.
Jensen: “babe i think you would look good in any sort of honeymoon attire...”
Jensen said as he came up behind you wrapping his arms around your shoulders placing chaste kisses along your neckline as you browsed some lingerie for your honeymoon...
Y/N: “well i dont think any of this is gonna get any of the big wedding details done. dont worry about what i’m going to wear on our honeymoon love... lets worry about how big of a reception hall we will need...”
so far the plans for your wedding consisted of little to no ideas except on the theme you guys wanted...
Theme: Superhero (based off of the Batman & Catwoman wedding)
you and Jensen throughout your relationship had decided that you guys were like Batman & Catwoman. one of the features of your wedding included a creepy church, similar to the one in Gotham City.
this week you guys decided to check out a few candidates for churches, you guys wanted something creepy yet do-able to fit the entire bat & cat scenario.
Jensen: “babe are we really sure that this Bat & cat scenario is gonna work?”
Y/N: “i am confident that this is going to work, besides we can’t always count on everyone else to plan everything for us... besides this first place is supposedly haunted which sounds gotham-esc.”
Jensen: “babe you’re terrified of anything haunted. are you sure a haunted church is where we want to get married?”
Jensen knew you all too well, he was right, you got scared way way too easily.
Y/N: “Jensen you’re right this is gonna terrify me to shit, but as long as your there i feel safe. now lets go and see what we can do about finding our wedding ceremony venue.”
Jensen looks at the road and notices a thick cloud of fog rolling in.
Jensen: “babe does something feel off to you? like did it just get really foggy?”
You look up from your book of ideas and notice the road becomming really foggy.
Y/n: “yeah it did umm.. lets throw on the GPS, get to the venue and find a hotel..”
after an hour of following the GPS you guys arrived at the venue, from the looks of the outsie it looks very promising.
Jensen: “this almost looks like the real deal, almost like an exact replica of the gotham cathedral.”
thats of course when the fog cleared, revealing you guys to actually be in Gotham City. thats when you guys enter’d the cathedral grounds, confused beyond belief by the sudden change in your surroundings but there was trouble that would soon befall you.
for stepping into the church, both of your appearances shifted almost immediately. almost like you were in a really messed up movie or something.
Jensen: “this is so stupid what the hell happened? how the hell did we get here?”
Y/N: “trust me babe i’m just as confused as you right now... but it loooks like we have our roles to play.”
you & Jensen now fully examining your wardrobe understood, you guys were stuck in Gotham City but looking like Selina Kyle & Bruce Wayne. the scariest moments in life are watching your first horror movie or being in the hospital with a loved one whose dying. but being trapped in a city where lunatics run free and looking more like batman and catwoman take the cake.
Y/N: “Babe i recognize this, usually for things that are unusual i was gonna do everything possible to get this venue but it will be alot worse if this is what we are gonna be. Jay we need to do something, we need to hide Gotham’s 5 hours of terror act is about to begin.”
ah yes the 5 hours of terror, Gotham implemented an act or a lay a while after both Arkham asylum & arkham ciy failed to contain all the crime. the GCPD implemented together with the judges panel at the courthouse came up with the idea to allow 5 hours where crime is completely legal between the hours of midnight and 5am.
Right now in Gotham or wherever the hell you were it was 11:56pm... when you and Jensen left the car it was barely 6pm.
Jensen: “trust me babe if something is gonna go...”
at that moment an alarm sounded, which was immediately followed by a bunch of sounds  filling the air, you & Jensen left the car locking it running into the church.
Jensen: “babe, i love the venue if we ever make it back to our reality, we are so picking this venue! now, you had said that the church was supposedly haunted...”
it was time for you to give your fiance the history lesson of a lifetime, its not everyday you get to explain something rarely known to anyone!
Y/N: “this church was built in 1790 by the Pseudo-Immortal Mister whisper, who designed the place using Gothic architecture to imbue it with magical properties, so it could trap massive amounts of souls. his plan was to release a deadly plague through the cathedral’s glass that would contaminate and kill most of Gotham’s population, but he had to wait hundreds of years to accomplish this... when the time came Mr. Whisper was stopped by Batman & the plague was removed from the cathedral by the GCPD... it has also been the sight of several demonic entities and of course suicides...”
Jensen now very impressed with your knowledge started to take a walk through the cathedral. you spun round in the center of the cathedral.
Y/N: “its so pretty here, this building is amazing, despite its unruly original purpose. this architecture is incredible! Jay, i want this to be where we say our vows... but the first hour barely started its gonna be a long night.”
Jensen: “well lets get settled...”
as soon as you guys got settled, a bunch of low intense growls could be heard surrounding you both on all sides. turning around both of you saw that you were surrounded by all the horrible main badies from every part of gothams horrific past.
Y/N: “uh, Jensen, we may want to leave now...”
Jensen: “Y/N, look at your belt!”
you look down and see a whip along with several other things...
Jensen: “maybe that will be useful..”
you pulled out the whip & felt yourself becoming very familiar with it, almost like you had used it before. you struck it against the ground in cross strikes, making everyone back away...
Scarecrow: “dont think that this little whip excuses you from anything, Selina, kill the bat...”
you knew what to say, but you had to make sure Jensen knew there was no disrespect & that this wasn’t real...
Y/N: “now now crane, we don’t need to do anything hostile after all i wasnt the one who used your fear gas the wrong way... isnt that right Dent.?.”
Two-face: “thats it pretty kitty, your gonna die, i’m not even gonna consult my coin...”
Scarecrow: “dent, is what the kitty says true?”
Two-face: “yeah its true but i didnt do it alone.”
Scarecrow: “well it seems that we are at an impass...”
Y/N: “i have an idea, you deal with these infidels and i can leave with the bat in peace...”
Scarecrow just looked at you, you were scared but you were prepared, you also were putting on a brave face. It was hard to be brave when up against some of Gotham’s most formidible foes.
Scarecrow: “you know Kitty, your love for the bat is a little concerning and on tonight of all nights you choose to align yourself with this bat over your own kind...”
you laugh & begin to feel your inner feline when you realize that playing the role of your character may help you to survive. with a purr you back right up and end up against Jensen.
Y/N: “crane darling look. we all know that you are just a paranoid psycho but if you have any sort of humanity left know this. i aligned myself with the bat cause we are in love...”
Jensen now understood what you were doing why you said what you did and after everything that happened it was clear that you were still you...
Jensen: “Selina has a point, we are in love in fact we would like for you guys to leave so we can continue our romantic evening...”
Two-face: “i dont think scarecrow would allow that... then again he has always been clueless... aint that right kitty...”
now with Two-face looking at you violently, you began to wonder what he was reffering to then like a ton of bricks it hit you...
Scarecrow: “what is he referring to kitty?”
Y/N: “he is referring to how i have helped batman put some of you in the past... but i didnt say anything to save my own hide. i said what i did, i technically lied to save the bat... i lied to save him cause like me he roams alone searching for our next prey or you know happiness but our cause has always been the same.”
at that moment scarecrow released his fear gas on you. your worst fears were realized all over again... but at the same time as the fear gas hit you a demon possessed you...
it was only Jensen who seemed to really notice the difference, who seemed to realize that you were not you...
Jensen (through his hands over his nose/mouth): “what did you spray her with? was that black stuff part of it?”
Scarecrow: “what are you talking about? bats, i would answer fast if i were you.”
Jensen took 1 very strong look at you as scarecrow was generous enough to hand him a gas mask so Jensen could breathe.
(*yes i know this story doesnt make much sense right now, but it will soon in one way or another all the pieces will fall together 1 by 1...*)
Jensen (through gas mask): “there are rumors of this church being haunted is that true...”
Scarecrow: “of course its haunted, but that doesnt mean... wait, you said black stuff right...”
Jensen (thru gas mask): “Yeah, why?”
Scarecrow gestures to Dent who approaches Jensen with a glower to his face.
Two-face: “come with me bats..”
Jensen (through gas mask): “crane watch her like a hawk...”
Jensen followed Dent to the security room, where he then was able to see what happened all but 5 minutes ago...
Jensen: “okay theres the fear gas, and theres a black smoke. its real, its all real...”
Two-face: “what the hell is with that black smoke bats...”
Jensen: “thats what i’ve been trying to tell you... Selina is not only in danger of the fear gas but also from a demon possessing her... Dent as a favor for an old friend can you get crane to lead everyone out of here so i can expel this demon?”
Dent: “okay bruce i’ll do it but on 1 conditon...”
Jensen: “whats that?”
Dent: “put me back in prison far away from crane and his band of bad guys...”
Jensen: “fair enough but why do you want to be away from them?”
Dent: “cause crane wronged me... and he wants to kill me... crane said he was going to tear me in 2 if my “coin” ever got out of line again.”
Jensen: “fair enough but promise me you will try to turn over a new leaf old friend...”
Dent: “will do old friend...”
Jensen & Dent now walk out of the security room & back to the others... you or rather your body had now become very very flexible as Crane was trying to get you off the wall...
Crane: “okay she is seriously messed up...”
Dent: “crane we need to get out of here, on to the next location while the night is still young.”
Crane: “your right dent, it seems we are at an impass bats... tell you what we will go and let you deal with the cat, but know this: on the day you marry dont expect any mercy from us for that day will bring your death.”
Crane & everyone else left, Dent followed last leaving a note with his location on it with Jensen as per to their arrangement... Jensens eyes kept tracking your very fast movements as he  looked for something that he could possibly do to save your life.
thats when he saw it, laying on the ground, your whip it must have fallen from your grasp when you were hit with the fear gas and a demon.
Jensen: “baby, i’m so sorry about this...”
Jensen ran at it sliding as he picked i up. he began looking around the interior of the church till he spotted it, the holy water. (this next bit is not entirely thought out i just hope it works...)
Jensen: “hey demonic bitch, your possessing my fiance & THATS NOT OKAY WITH ME... now with every last breath in me i’ll save her. now prepare to fry bitch...”
Demon(in your body): “always the hero, never the villan, i’ll make your fiance tear your body to shreds, you know she’s awake in here she’s screaming for you to save her. she’s also very scared. if your thinking about going for that holy water, dont cause i’m not done playing with yoou yet...”
before she said her last word, Jensen was already on his way to the basin of holy water with your whip. Jensen tossed the whip in the basin to let it saturate the whip.
Demon (in your body): “you son of a bitch that is gonna cost you your life.”
Jensen: “not in my fiance’s body it wont... cause your not gonna be round much longer...”
as you got closer, Jensen timed it out so he would pull out the whip just as you got to him.
Jensen: “taste this you demonic bitch.”
Jensen pulled out the whip covered in holy water & flung it at your lunging form making sure that you were done up in the whip covered in holy water.
Jensen: “babe if you can hear me through that demon, fight it, i cant loose the only girl ive ever loved to some lousy demon. come back to me & forgive me for this babe.”
Jensen took your form and slammed you to the ground taking the rest of the whip and wrapping it round your neck forcing your body to look at him.
Jensen: “exorciamous te, omnis imundus spiritus, omnis satanica potestas, omnis incursio infernalis asversarii, omnis congregato insecta diabolica, ergo draco malidicte, eclesia secura tuam facias libertate, te regamus, audios bitch...”
at that moment the demon left your body, you were now unconcious, which made Jensen not only release the whip from your neck, but also made him kneel beside your body.
Jensen: “babe, babe, come on wake up please, baby please... i love you...”
Jensen at that moment kissed you & thats when both of you woke up with a jolt in the car on the side of the road.
Jensen: “did you also...”
Y/N: “dream that i was possessed by a demon and you choked me with catwoman’s whip covered in holy water and somehow we ended up in Gotham city and say scarecrow and others... yes i did but how...”
Jensen shrugs his shoulders...
Jensen: “what an excellent day for an exorcism, hey babe?”
you didnt answer but your head spun round in a 180... this sight scared the living hell out of Jensen.
Jensen: “not again, we are going free you from this demon forever babe i promise...”
driving as fast as Jensen could he got the rest of the way to the church parking lot, where your body in response gave a low hiss, causing Jensen to open his door and get out of the car.
Y/N (possessed): “please dont pretend like im still your fiance sugar. you know she’s screaming in here for you right. she wants you to save her. but i’m not gonna let you...”
Jensen: “i’m addressing the entity in my fiance who the hell are you & why are you in my fiance?”
Y/N (possessed): “my name is not important, but my boss has plans for your wife’s body... he plans on breeding her body to make a million more of me...”
Jensen: “your boss is a sick psychotic bastard and he can leave his dick in his own ass... now follow me if you want to kill me...”
Jensen ran into the church where it became reality that you would soon follow.
Jensen: “excuse me priest but i have a situation.. my fiance is possessed by a demon and i need help... do you guys have chains or something that i can use to save her...”
Priest: “well we did find something in the center of the church the other day... maybe you can use it to save your beloved...”
Jensen watches as the priest goes around the corner and comes back out with the whip, the one from the dream... The priest’s yes widen as your possessed form comes bounding through the doors of the church... Jensen reaches his hands out as the priest tosses the whip to Jensen.
Jensen: “can you bless this baptismal pool so i can save my fiance...”
The priest nods knowing what Jensen was going through and the terrified look on his face the priest knew that only love could bring about the clensing that is needed to save the fiance of this young man.
Priest: “of course try to lure her over here...”
the face that the priest was blessing the pool and believed Jensen in the first place was a miracle. Jensen stood right at the alter blocking the priest and what he was doing. making sure he had the whip hidden your body started to run up the aisle.
Demon: “im gonna skin you alive...”
Jensen: “not once im through with you...”
thats when the plan took place the priest took a 2 second leave of absense to hide nearby so Jensen could use the whip to trip your body into the pool... the demon possessing you shrieked  as it hit the water, Jensen jumped it after your form, the priest came back out using his latin he sanctified the water and the area surrounding it to help expel the demon from your body.
Jensen: “Priest you may want to look away now, cause what i need to do is not gonna be pretty.”
Priest: “do what you need to do its to save the one you love God isnt going to discriminate for this action...”
Jensen nods and unleashes the whip around your neck, your body once more shrieked... Jensen pulled your body down into the water and started the exorcism stage again.
Jensen: “baby im gonna save you, may God have mercy on my soul for drowning the possessing demon from my fiance. exorciamous te, omnis imundus spiritus, omnis satanica potestas, omnis incursio infernalis asversarii, omnis congregato insecta diabolica, ergo draco malidicte, eclesia secura tuam facias libertate, te regamus, audios bitch...”
after about 4 minutes of Jensen holding your convulging body in the water your form stops moving... Jensen pulls your body out of the water and watches as the priest comes back with a blanket...
Jensen lays your body on the blanket as he carries you out of the water.
Jensen: “forgive me father for i sinned in your house.”
Priest: “no need to seek forgiveness my child, you were saving the one you love, i appreciate your courage and bravery.”
Jensen smiles lightly as he starts chest compressions on you... after 5 minutes you start choking & coughing up water and your breathing is eratic... but Jensen wraps you in the blanket bringing you into his worried grasp.
Jensen: “thank you priest i cant ever thank you enough...”
Priest: “no need my son thats what im here for... now what had brought you both here in the first place.”
Jensen: “we were searching for our wedding ceremony venue...”
Priest: “i would be honored for you both to use this church as your venue for free... the happiness of having you both married is how you can thank me...”
Jensen: “thank you thats very generous... is there any hotels near by where i can stay at with my love.?.”
Priest: “of course just 3 miles up the road... tell them John sent you...”
Jensen stands up holding you against him...
Jensen: “knowing that the love of my life is alright is good enough for me...”
with you still wrapped in that blanket now craddled in Jensen’s arms Jensen places you in the front seat buckling you in as he shuts your door going and climbing in on his side he dares not mention anything to you.
to this day you know only what you were told by Jensen A.K.A your husband.. yes you got married not but 3 months later... it was a magical time... but what truly happened that day still haunts both you & him.
~in each of us is a darkness, sometimes we can fight it, sometimes we cant... in the end we all have a choice, to keep fighting the darkness, or to let it win...~

Ending retrospective tax claimed as a correction of past mistakes by PM Modi
During the annual meeting of the Confederation of Indian Industry or CII, Prime Minister Narendra Modi explained that the decision to end the retrospective tax was a major step for undoing the mistakes made in the past. Last week, the government took the decision to end the taxes raised for the indirect transfer of Indian assets before May 2012 provided that the companies would take back all the litigation and will sign an undertaking clarifying that no damages were to be claimed.
"We undid a mistake of the past by removing retrospective tax. It will increase trust between the government and the industry," PM Modi asserted during the CII meeting held online. "The feedback and appreciation from industry in this regard has been great to see."
The United Progressive Alliance government, in the year 2012 made the decision to change tax laws retrospectively which created a huge controversy. Foreign entities who then acquired Indian companies were obligated to pay huge amounts to the government. The companies thus filed a case against the government.
The PM however said that the NDA government has taken some bold decisions despite the slump created due to the pandemic.
"Talk on the need for reforms in the country has been going on for ages, but no one took any decision. We did. We make and carry out reforms not out of compulsion but out of conviction," PM Modi said. "There used to be a mind set in India that change is very difficult. For us to emerge from where we are is a massive task. So, nothing happened for decades, but in the last few decades, that has changed. That change has been spearheaded by you all - the industry," PM Modi said.

Stellar feedback and an airborne observatory; scientists determine a nebula younger than believed In the southern sky, situated about 4,300 light years from Earth, lies RCW 120, an enormous glowing cloud of gas and dust. This cloud, known as an emission nebula, is formed of ionized gases and emits light at various wavelengths. An international team led by West Virginia University researchers studied RCW 120 to analyze the effects of stellar feedback, the process by which stars inject energy back into their environment. Their observations showed that stellar winds cause the region to expand rapidly, which enabled them to constrain the age of the region. These findings indicate that RCW 120 must be less than 150,000 years old, which is very young for such a nebula. About seven light years from the center of RCW 120 lies the boundary of the cloud, where a plethora of stars are forming. How are all of these stars being formed? To answer that question, we need to dig deep into the origin of the nebula. RCW 120 has one young, massive star in its center, which generates powerful stellar winds. The stellar winds from this star are much like those from our own Sun, in that they throw material out from their surface into space. This stellar wind shocks and compresses the surrounding gas clouds. The energy that is being input into the nebula triggers the formation of new stars in the clouds, a process known as "positive feedback" because the presence of the massive central star has a positive effect on future star formation. The team, featuring WVU postdoctoral researcher Matteo Luisi, used SOFIA (the Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy) to study the interactions of massive stars with their environment. SOFIA is an airborne observatory consisting of an 8.8-foot (2.7-meter) telescope carried by a modified Boeing 747SP aircraft. SOFIA observes in the infrared regime of the electromagnetic spectrum, which is just beyond what humans can see. For observers on the ground, water vapor in the atmosphere blocks much of the light from space that infrared astronomers are interested in measuring. However, its cruising altitude of seven miles (13 km), puts SOFIA above most of the water vapor, allowing researchers to study star-forming regions in a way that would not be possible from the ground. Overnight, the in-flight observatory observes celestial magnetic fields, star-forming regions (like RCW 120), comets and nebulae. Thanks to the new upGREAT receiver that was installed in 2015, the airborne telescope can make more precise maps of large areas of the sky than ever before. The observations of RCW 120 are part of the SOFIA FEEDBACK survey, an international effort led by researchers Nicola Schneider at the University of Cologne and Alexander Tielens at the University of Maryland, which makes use of upGREAT to observe a multitude of star-forming regions. The research team opted to observe the spectroscopic [CII] line with SOFIA, which is emitted from diffuse ionized carbon in the star-forming region. "The [CII] line is probably the best tracer of feedback on small scales, and--unlike infrared images--it gives us velocity information, meaning we can measure how the gas moves. The fact that we can now observe [CII] easily across large regions in the sky with upGREAT makes SOFIA a really powerful instrument to explore stellar feedback in more detail than was possible previously," says Matteo. Using their [CII] observations from SOFIA, the research team found that RCW 120 is expanding at 33,000 mph (15 km/s), which is incredibly fast for a nebula. From this expansion speed, the team was able to put an age limit on the cloud and found that RCW 120 is much younger than previously believed. With the age estimate, they were able to infer the time it took for the star formation at the boundary of the nebula to kick in after the central star had been formed. These findings suggest that positive feedback processes occur on very short timescales and point to the idea that these mechanisms could be responsible for the high star formation rates that occurred during the early stages of the universe. Looking forward, the team hopes to expand this type of analysis to the study of more star forming regions. Matteo says, "The other regions we are looking at with the FEEDBACK survey are in different stages of evolution, have different morphologies, and some have many high-mass stars in them, as opposed to only one in RCW 120. We can then use this information to determine what processes primarily drive triggered star formation and how feedback processes differ between various types of star-forming regions." IMAGE....Multi-color Spitzer image of RCW 120, showing hot dust (in red), warm gas (in green) and emission from stars (in blue). The contours show the spectroscopic [CII] line of ionized carbon observed with SOFIA, which indicates rapid expansion of the region toward us (blue contours) and away from us (red contours). The yellow star gives the location of the central, massive star in RCW 120. (Image credit: Matteo Luisi, West Virginia University)

A Luminous Quasar at Redshift 7.642
Distant quasars are unique tracers to study the formation of the earliest supermassive black holes (SMBHs) and the history of cosmic reionization. Despite extensive efforts, only two quasars have been found at z≥7.5, due to a combination of their low spatial density and the high contamination rate in quasar selection. We report the discovery of a luminous quasar at z=7.642, J0313−1806, the most distant quasar yet known. This quasar has a bolometric luminosity of 3.6×1013L⊙. Deep spectroscopic observations reveal a SMBH with a mass of (1.6±0.4)×109M⊙ in this quasar. The existence of such a massive SMBH just ∼670 million years after the Big Bang challenges significantly theoretical models of SMBH growth. In addition, the quasar spectrum exhibits strong broad absorption line (BAL) features in CIV and SiIV, with a maximum velocity close to 20% of the speed of light. The relativistic BAL features, combined with a strongly blueshifted CIV emission line, indicate that there is a strong active galactic nucleus (AGN) driven outflow in this system. ALMA observations detect the dust continuum and [CII] emission from the quasar host galaxy, yielding an accurate redshift of 7.6423±0.0013 and suggesting that the quasar is hosted by an intensely star-forming galaxy, with a star formation rate of ∼200 M⊙ yr−1 and a dust mass of ∼7×107 M⊙. Followup observations of this reionization-era BAL quasar will provide a powerful probe of the effects of AGN feedback on the growth of the earliest massive galaxies.

PM Narendra Modi set to announce Covid-19 lockdown extension today at 10 am
Tumblr media
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to announce an extension of the Covid-19 lockdown in his morning address to the nation while a relaxation of curbs is likely to start rolling out from the rural heartland, said people with knowledge of the matter.
Farming will be central to this process of easing — rabi harvesting and procurement operations along with allied industry segments will be allowed to operate with adequate safeguards, said the people cited above. The rabi season contributes nearly 50% to foodgrain production.
“Harvesting and procurement has to start… that is priority,” said one of them. “Other activities and sectors that support these would also have to be opened up with safety precautions.” For example, procurement may require construction and that may require cement, which may also have to be opened up.
Although the health and home ministries favour total containment, other ministries have backed a selective opening up in view of the broader consequences of a stalled economy.

The Centre is compiling inputs from ministries and states on graded relaxations in the second phase of the lockdown starting April 15.
The home ministry will be issuing revised guidelines to all states under the Disaster Management Act, 2005. The current three-week lockdown is due to end April 14.
‘Supply Chains Interlinked’ The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, commerce, agriculture, micro, small and medium enterprises, road transport, food processing and other ministries have communicated with the home ministry on the process of opening up, said an official. Detailed guidelines will be issued based on discussions by the finance ministry with other ministries and feedback from industry.
Easing some aspects of the lockdown has become imperative to ensure supply of essentials as supply chains are interlinked, said another official.
“Distribution channels are closely interconnected — distributor, dealer and retailer,” he said. “Besides, there are inter-linkages in manufacturing as well.” For instance, an oil manufacturing unit needs to be supported by a packaging unit, a printing unit and these in turn need adequate supply of inputs to keep the chain going, he said.
Non-BJP-ruled states such as Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu issued orders on Monday under the Epidemic Disease Act, 1897, to extend the lockdown until the end of April. Other opposition-ruled states such as West Bengal, Punjab, Odisha, Telangana and Delhi have also announced they will be extending the lockdown. The BJP-ruled states will take their cue from the Prime Minister’s address. However, Uttar Pradesh said on Monday that construction activity on government projects such as roads and expressways would begin from April 15 with workers practising social distancing. This may feature in the home ministry’s revised guidelines for the next phase of the lockdown.
Niti Aayog has also given a detailed plan on easing the lockdown.
“Extension of complete closure would have severe consequences for the economy, so partial opening up is the only option,” said an official.
The order will specify guidelines on health and the movement of persons that states will need to follow, said one of the persons. State governments will need to ensure that adequate safety protocols are followed on the ground.
“Wide consultations are going on with the primary factor of labour being considered,” said an official. “States have to find out how much labour is migrant and how many are stationed at their homes to be able to draft an exit strategy.”
Industries need to ensure proper ventilation and sanitisation of workers while entering and exiting the factory.
“The textile industry ranges from handloom to sophisticated factory floors,” said the official. “In case of handlooms, wherein people don’t have to work close to each other and usually operate from home but have to go to the markets to sell their products, these are not problem areas but the entire value chain is linked. We can’t have a strategy for garments but not for yarn.”
Industry Plan For Farm Produce The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has drawn up a comprehensive guidance document on safety measures during postharvest and mandi operations to ensure smooth supply of farm produce.
CII said the current crisis has impacted harvesting operations for rabi crops such as wheat, mustard, pulses, oilseeds, tomato and mango. Arrivals and prices in mandis have been impacted and every effort needs to be made for a resilient farm sector. The rabi season is critical for foodgrain, oilseeds and pulses security.
“The agri and food supply chains are vulnerable to massive disruptions which can further impact availability and prices, hence proactive measures for safety and health of farmers and workers are required at both the farm as well as mandi level,” said CII director general Chandrajit Banerjee. “While the country is in lockdown mode, it is essential that harvesting and post-harvest activities remain functional so that farmers do not suffer and crops are not lost.”
The health ministry said in the daily briefing on Monday that the importance of “saving lives and livelihoods” was reflected in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana with 300 million people getting ?28,526 crore in financial assistance.
