“yeah. i was there.”

how well did you know melissa garcia?

“she was a bitch. talked shit about me and my friends like it was her job. but i didn’t want her dead if that’s what you’re insinuating.”

please describe your whereabouts during the night.

“i was piss drunk. i hate to admit this, but i barely remember getting to the party.”

did you happen to see any strange, or aggressive behavior during the party?

“nothing that was unwarranted. i have about as many enemies as a damn comic book hero.”

were there any particular people who you were surprised to see present

“eliza.”

adrian ‘raker’ anderson 

the first friendship zephyr ever really had. it was rare to ever see the boy share his thrown but raker didn’t seem to care to take it over. and so zephyr never saw him as a threat to take it over.  these two were thick as thieves, and you never really did see one without the other. even when the orphanage tried to place the boys into separate foster homes, they always seemed to find each other again ( mostly by running away until they were just put back in the orphanage again. ) tensions began to build between the two when zephyr was put into a boarding school.  there were no attempts to run away because there was no where for zephyr to run, but raker saw this as zephyr leaving him and began to withdraw himself.  by the time high school came around, the two boys rarely talked anymore.  

mei hua ‘may’ liu

the first mother figure to ever influence zephyr’s life.  although she’s only eleven years older than him, she’s always taken him under her wing ever since she began volunteering at the orphanage when she was sixteen.  eventually, she was the one who saw the potential in zephyr and got him accepted into two different boarding schools.  she would visit him while she had time, however, zephyr always blamed his and raker’s falling out on her which cause the two to fall out.  may tried her best to keep contact, but the attempts slowed down as she started a family of her own.  zephyr understands now she only did it to help him, and is thankful for everything she did for him.  however, the two have yet to truly speak in five years.

ernest romano

a father figure in zephyr’s life.  zeph had first met him when he took his first intro the criminal justice class his freshman year of high school. mr. romano had instantly taken a liking to zephyr, and took him under his wing a little.  they became increasing close and by zephyr’s junior year of high school -- mr. romano was basically already his father.  he was the first person zeph would call no matter the trouble and the reason he is at ashcroft & in the imperium society today!  mr. romano had graduated from ashcroft and although he was never in the Imperium -- he urged zephyr to join once he got the invitation.  he is the only person from zephyr’s childhood who is still actively in zephyr’s life today with christmas celebrations every year.  in fact, this christmas coming up, zephyr is going to ask if mr. romano will adopt him!

hello and welcome to the FOURTH character development task. as always, these are totally optional and you can pick and choose what sounds fun to you. this task is about family. so, this is a look at your character’s family relationships – cast their immediate family members and provide a short description of your character’s relationship with them and what they are/were like. here’s some of my old writing to use as an example? logan anderson (49) – father. matthew mcconaughey.

penelope anderson (40) – mother. kate hudson.

camila edwards (60) – nanny. emma thompson.

harper anderson (20) – self. olivia holt.

logan anderson: logan is an insanely successful lawyer. he runs his own firm now with his wife, and there literally isn’t any case they can’t handle. logan comes from old money, his family is well off and always telling their children they need to continue into a ‘high class’ profession such a law, medicine, business, or engineering. logan was almost thirty and a year shy of being made junior partner for the law firm he worked at when his then girlfriend told him she was pregnant. while he cared enough to put a ring on her finger, he still placed his career ahead of his family, stating it was to provide for them. as a parent, he did the bare minimum always, never going out of his way too much to be involved in harper’s life. 

penelope anderson: penelope is also a lawyer, a very strong-willed one at that. after she established herself as a force to be reckoned with, she joined her husband in their own firm. penelope was only 20 when she found out she was expecting a child and although she’ll never admit it, she hates the fact it happened to her in the middle of her education. after having her daughter, she loved her, but knew that if she wanted to make her family proud she had to finish school on time, setting aside her own little family for the sake of her career. now, any attempts she makes to reach out to harper to form some kind of connection are frequently dropped on her behalf because of work getting in the way. she and her husband barely know what she’s studying at school, completely letting her do her own thing ever since she turned 14, despite all the drastic things harper’s done to try and get her parent’s attention. 

camila edwards: camila was harper’s fourth nanny, being there from the time she turned seven until she was fourteen. shortly after harper was born, her parents hired a nanny to take care of her while they were at work and school, this was pretty much common until she was 14 and thought she was too old to have one anymore. camila truly loved harper and was a fundamental role in her life, even being included in family portraits in elementary school. she was more of a mother to harper than her own mom, the two of the could spend hours talking about absolutely anything. she was the one who went to any of her school functions or performances, she encouraged harper’s love of history from a young age. they still talk regularly, with harper making visits to see her at least once a month.

the alexander’s + evangeline kline

damien lewis as gregory alexander ( age forty six )

gregory alexander is a successful emergency room surgeon and a medical researcher. growing up with a doctor for a father and a labor and delivery nurse for a mother, his life was surrounded by medicine. he met the love of his life while studying for his undergrad at ashcroft, daniel being the suave american boy that not only won greg over, but the imperium society as well. the clicked right away, marrying young and deciding to start a family with the help of their dear friend, evangeline. he dotes on his daughter, his little sunshine, though not as much as his husband did. he constantly challenged juniper, ensuring that she could pursue every interest her little heart desired--perhaps because she reminded him so much of evie, a constant reminder that his friend was gone. now, he’s a grieving widower who is relying on his young daughter’s care after the sudden loss of his husband on a hot and rainy july night.

nikolaj coster-waldau as daniel alexander ( age forty seven ) ( deceased )

daniel harris never expected to be a well renowned doctor in scotland, being that he was born to a catholic family in the hamptons. his parents sent him off to ashcroft with the intentions of him getting started in his medical career--and while that happened, he came home with a fiance. disowned almost immediately, daniel threw himself into his studies and his new family, where he knew he wanted to be nothing like the scum he came from. juniper was his princess, he doted on her without any second thought. she would have had the world if daniel was able to give it to her, but he did his damn best regardless. while june loves both of her father’s to death, daniel was always the one she turned to first. he was a warm embrace, never challenging her like gregory did, as he just wanted her to feel safe and loved. his death impacts june severely, as she feels like she never got a proper goodbye to the man who, while he wasn’t her blood, made her feel like she was.

bryce dallas howard as evangeline kline ( age twenty seven ) ( deceased )

evangeline was a scholarship student who wanted to change the world. the kindest heart among her friends, she always wanted the best for everyone--which is why she was elated when greg and dan asked her to be their surrogate. she even moved in with the newlyweds, quitting her beloved nursing job to ensure the best for the growing juniper. daniel and gregory wanted to thank her in some way, gifting their baby girl with the middle name evangeline to honor the kindhearted woman who completed their family. though she watched from afar, she fell in love with her daughter, even so much that she was willing to give her a sibling. unfortunately, this didn’t happen, as a car accident took her life just before her first round of implantation. juniper doesn’t remember much, but she made sure that her hair, the beautiful red locks that evangeline carried with pride, were kept just as perfectly.
