Sorry not sorry, Mom!! Today I Threw away over $250 worth of potentially harmful products that have ingredients proven to be carcinogenic and linked to cancer, hormone & endocrine distribution and even infertility! (Watch the live video on my Facebook about WHY I did it, and why each product and ingredient is bad) Proud of my mom for letting me clean out her bathroom and kitchen sink and open to changing her buying habits. She fought me at first and said “I’m older .. it’s too late .. I don’t need to change.. it won’t make a difference.” I argued because I care.. Anyone can begin to made the switch and live healthier. Hormone disruption can make menopause harder.. think of going clean like a diet or quitting drugs/smoking. . I took her to @fredmeyerstores to pick out safer alternatives, because in my little town that’s the closest store with cleaner alternatives, other than @target (Which has #EWG verifies products) After one day she came downstairs and said “wow, these are awesome products, and cheaper.” If you are alive and breathing, you should wake up and care. If you dont, at least think about your kids and grandkids that love you. At least your not ADDICTED to these, like you could be to drugs or smoking.
