With my change to my aesthetic, I feel that cottagecore doesn’t quite fit the look of my posts. While the content is still very much in line with cottagecore, I feel like the look differs thematically, especially when it comes to color palette. I feel kinda bad labeling it as cottagecore when it might not quite be what people are searching for, so I’ve decided to find a new name for my look / aesthetic.

☁️ I’ve decided upon: ☁️

CloudyCore

CloudyCore is a substyle of CottageCore that draws influence from rainy days and quiet moments. The images have more muted grey tones, as if the sky were overcast with clouds. It may also highlight the decomposition of nature and beautiful things, such as fallen leaves, cicada shells, or a crumbling statue of an angel. Angelic & ethereal touches are encouraged. Where CottageCore finds it’s primary home in Spring & Summer, CloudyCore resides moreso in the realm of Fall & Winter.
