Somewhere in the late 1910s, when Izar was in their early 20s they decided to leave behind their home of Veracruz, Mexico to settle in a Town called, New Orleans, in the U.S. with the intention of kick-starting their career in music. Alongside her was their younger brother, Mateo. Who, unlike zar, wasn’t as optimistic about moving so far from home and had a hard time settling in.

(Mateo and Izar are opposites from one another. Mateo is much more reserved and stolid. While Izar leans more on being the eccentric and charismatic type. But despite that they both still deeply care for one another)

When they got settled in New Orleans, Izar formed a band formally known as “La Luna and the Stars.” She then spent the next few years performing in speakeasies and small gatherings/parties, slowly giving the band publicity.

Time skip to 1921, despite not being famous just yet, the band was still known around town, Zar got a gig at a club later in the night. Little did they know that they would bump into Alastor. Who at that time was an up and coming radio star.

Both of them seemed to click rather quickly, most likely due to them relating to a certain goal of trying to make it big in the world. One young, aspiring musician and the other an aspiring radio host.

Daredevil was having a rough night. He was already bleeding a decent amount and it was just coming upon midnight. A run in with some thugs had gone sideways and he was starting to regret his nighttime occupation. Not that he'd ever give it up. He heard too much to be able to stop.

His hearing was actually what got him into his current predicament. He'd heard the rhythmic sounds of people chanting and had thought that that was never a good sign when paired with the time. Then he'd heard the sobs of a woman begging to be let go and well, he just had to intervene.

Which was how he found himself standing in the center of a summoning circle and demanding that whoever was in the warehouse let go of the scared woman.

"No! Get out of the circle, you fool!" A raspy male voice snapped. Matt ignored it and swung his head, searching for the sound of the woman sobbing. Once he found her, he threw one of his billy clubs at the man holding her and then launched himself at them. The man holding her cried out and let her go and, as soon as Matt got close enough, Matt pulled her behind him.

"When I say run, you run." He told her. He could hear her sniffling and whimpering behind him but felt the air currents shift when she nodded. He stood protectively in front of her and when he felt the energy in the room suddenly shift, he told her to run. She took off and Matt threw himself forward towards the nearest man, blocking his attempt at swiping for the women.

"You're ruining everything! Get rid of him!" The head male yelled. In seconds, Matt found himself surrounded and he had to fight his way through the men around him. As he did, he felt the energy of the space shift again followed by the sound of wind picking up, a truly strange noise to hear in a warehouse. Matt shook the thought off and focused on the task at hand. Only when he and the leader were the last ones standing did Matt stop and take in what was going on. 

The air was whipping through the circle and then suddenly, there was another presence in the room. Matt considered it a presence and not a person because it felt unlike anything he'd felt before. He stiffened, falling into a fighting stance as he let his senses roll over the thing in front of him. And what Matt sensed confused him more than anything. 

Standing in the center of the circle, was a being with horns and a tail. The tail swished back and forth as though in irritation and when it spoke, Matt was surprised at the very feminine voice that echoed the room. He was even more surprised when he realized the thing was addressing him and not the leader.

"Why is it you have summoned me, mortal? How may I be of service?"

"He didn't summon you! I did! You answer to me!" The being's tail twitched in annoyance and she fixed her slitted pupil stare onto the fool across from them.

"Silence. It is not your blood within my summoning circle. It is his." Turning away from the leader, the being faced Matt. "You are my master from now until your death. What is it you desire?"

It starts raining halfway through her walk. Which isn’t unusual for the Netherlands as far as she’s aware. Or Holland. She was never great at geography. 

What matters is she’s in Utrecht for the day from Amsterdam. It’s not far, but given the only two people she knows in the continent of Europe stayed back, it feels like she might as well be on another planet. Another planet with similarly Flemish style buildings and a map the size of a4 paper: the better to hide the most obvious sign of her being a tourist. She doesn’t really have a plan other than exploring the city aimlessly; a plan the rain’s putting on hold.

She shoves her map into her bag, glancing around the street to find somewhere to duck into while the worst of the rain passes. 

It wasn’t supposed to be like this.

Last summer when she’d been planning this with Rocio and Yadira it had been the dream girl's trip. A month in Europe going from hostel to hostel before taking on university. They’d fit in museums in the afternoon with late nights bar hopping. Yadira had written some useful dutch phrases, carefully copied from the yahoo page that had taken ages to load. 

Then Yadira had pulled out. Her friend had decided to put the money into university tuition over a graduation trip. 

And Rocio’s solution was to bring her boyfriend along.

So now she was a third wheel. 

Javier was fine. 

But it wasn’t the same. 

She didn’t mind when they went to museums, even at clubs it was nice to have a guy around, just in case. It was at restaurants when she felt like the odd one out. 

Maybe she was being too sensitive. 

Ducking into one of the many pubs with their neon colored Heiniken signs and terrace tables filled with smoking patrons ambivalent about the rain. She drags her shoes over the mat, cleaning off her shoes before glancing around.

The place was filled with guys who might have finished school alongside her with questionable hairstyles that ranged from hippie-long to gelled to the point it might hurt to touch. Tourists then, she thought. Or some travel group. She’d seen plenty of those at the Rijksmuseum. It had been a battle of endurance to wait while an entire school group from the states walked down the stairs in the Anne Frank House. 

Some were even cute. 

With glasses of beer in hand, they were definitely celebrating something. 

She beelines to the bar. A coffee sounded amazing but she would settle for a beer. Rest while the rain passes and just enjoy the view of the street. Traveling made even streets interesting. The streets were even cobblestone instead of the cracked pavement and pothole stricken streets around Veracruz. 

Still, she’d have traded anything for a taco. Even just the warm tortilla cooked on the woodfire stove would beat any meal she’s had here.

“Un cafe,” she leans against the bar, “coffee, koffie?” The words sounded foreign on her tongue. She usually tried English first, as she was more familiar with it. But years of instruction in school still left her fumbling, the pronunciation garbled in her mouth. 

Well, they sounded similar enough.

“Twee vijftien,” the bartender’s an older man, maybe a decade older than her parents with cauliflower ears. He plots the paper receipt in front of her. 

It’s a fumble of coins: digging them out of her purse and figuring out which coins were how much. 

She sets her euros on the counter, trying to make eye contact to make sure he knows she paid while he helps one of the guys. 

His t-shirt is blue with blocky white font reading Argentina. (It’s a safe bet where they’re all from.) The shirt is too large, and his jeans are just as wide legged. She’ll never understand why guys loved to buy jeans that were too large only to get a belt. 

His hair was long and mousy brown as he patiently tried to order which was a complicated matter when the bartender didn’t speak spanish, and the guy clearly only spoke in spanish to him. 

“Birra. Una birra,” the guy waves his hands trying to communicate. 

“Beer,” the barkeeper raises a brow, “Yes.” He points at the pint, “beer.”

“No,” he sighs dejectedly, “de-una caña?” 

He had church boy-help old ladies with their grocery bags written all over him. 

“Como corona?” She butts in. 

It wasn’t rude if she was trying to help.

The guy looks over at her, smiling kindly in a manner that is contagious. “Si. De cristal. Vidrio? Nunca se con eso que el castellano cambia de pais a pais.” 

“Verdad!” She nods, mirroring his easy going smile, “o mas bien, che vos.”

He takes her light teasing in stride, looking down at his shoes and laughing. His cheeks turn pink in a charmingly sheepish way. 

She tries to get the message across. “Beer,” she mimes with her hand, “in…bottle?” 

“Ah,” the barkeep nods, and fetches an amber glass bottle. It’s a random dutch brand, but better than nothing. He also hands her her cup of coffee. 

“Leo,” Leo extends his hand like he’s going through motions. 

She shakes his hand, introducing herself.

Whatever easy moment passes as he can’t hold her gaze for long, a thread of self consciousness in his stance. 

“Are you here with school,” she asks.

This makes him snort, “no-a. . .work actually,” which only seems to amuse him more.

“Really?”

“Well,” he tilts his head. “The world cup. Sort of.”

“Isn’t that next summer?”

“Under 20,” Leo rubs the back of his neck, “but it’s still a world cup.”

“That’s cool as fuck.” She looks him over again, trying to imagine him playing semi-pro, pro(?), either way, it was crazy to think about when he seemed so normal. Football players came off pretty arrogant in the press clips but then again, she didn’t follow any team that closely. 

“I keep waiting for it to feel real but even benched for Barca,” he shrugs because Leo can’t put the feeling into words. It was bigger than that.

“Did you win?” 

Leo meets her wondering gaze. His amber eyes twinkle with mirth, “just a little.”

“Ha! Trying to be humble?”

“It was close,” he says seriously, “I’d rather be honest than humble.” 

“So you play pretty well?”

“I love football.” He shrugs as in a what can you do about it before taking a long drink of his beer. 

She wets her bottom lip, before remembering her own drink and looking away. 

“And you?” Leo fidgets with the beer cap in one hand. 

“Just. . .touristiando. Taking in the sights before I hit the books.” It sounded woefully inadequate compared to playing at any level of a Fifa world cup. Had she already failed at life? She was only eighteen but already she was falling behind. 

Her grip tightens on the coffee cup.

“See anything good?” He asks leaning into her.

The pub feels cozy now. Not as loud as when she entered. She doesn’t mind having to put her walking on hold.

“The canals. Some ancient tower. I think this isn’t a tourist centric city. Must be why it’s a day trip,” she tells him truthfully. “I had lunch in the park. That was really nice. It’s been nice just to wander around.” Not every vacation day had to be jam packed. 

“Do you want to get dinner,” Leo says suddenly, going still. “With me.” He swallows.

It was nice, skipping the whole song and dance and just getting to the point. She liked that about him. She liked Leo. And she was on an entirely different continent. Why not? 

She was an adult. She was going to start uni soon. 

Her gaze kept flickering over Leo. Like an optical illusion, he looked like a guy she might have shared a class with yet more attractive than any guy she knew. 

Why not?

“Okay.”

“Okay.”

She giggles.

Leo ducks his head.

She was glad it had rained on her day trip.

Los de clase media tenían $1 o $2 pesos, suficientes para comprar algo a la salida de la iglesia o de la escuela y algunas golosinas en la tienda, donde había desde dulces de a dos por $0.05, hasta chocolates Carlos V de $0.50 o Gansitos Marinela de $0.80. La Coca-Cola chica costaba $0.35 y la mediana, $0.45.

Las bicicletas eran Windsor, los triciclos y cochecitos de pedales Apache, los yoyos Duncan y los juguetes Lilí (para niñas), Ledy (para niños), Plastimarx (principalmente para niños) y Mialegría (para pequeños con aficiones científicas). La juguetería de mayor prestigio era Ara.

Los televisores eran Philco, Phillips, Telefunken y Majestic; los radios Majestic; las consolas de sonido Stromberg Carlson, Philco o Philips.

Las tiendas departamentales de moda eran las mismas de ahora: Liverpool, El Palacio de Hierro y Sears.

El futbol se veía en el Estadio Azteca y en el flamante estadio Olímpico de Ciudad Universitaria. El beisbol en el parque del Seguro Social.

Los chavos asistían al Queso Pan y Vino o al C’est si Bon. Los tacos eran de El Tizoncito, El Farolito o El Caminero (ubicado a espaldas del Hotel María Isabel). Las flautas, de Los Cocoteros, en San Cosme. En esa zona estaba (y siguen estando); La Birria de La Polar, los mariscos de Boca del Río. El Anderson’s, que había abierto el año anterior en pleno Paseo de la Reforma, estaba de moda. Se tomaba la copa en el Kineret, de la Zona Rosa. El café (por menos de $3 pesos todas las tazas que uno deseara), en Sanborns, Denny’s y Vip’s.

El té negro era Lipton; los refrescos, Coca-Cola, Pepsi Cola, Orange Crush, Squirt, Delaware Punch. Los nacionales, Peñafiel, Garcicrespo, Jarritos, Pascual, Lulú, Titán y Chaparritas el Naranjo (que no tienen comparación).

Las discotecas de moda eran el Champagne a Go Go, Los Globos, el Terraza Casino, el Cero Cero en el Camino Real, el Señorial y en Cd Satélite, El Castillo del Yorsi. Los espectáculos más taquilleros se presentaban en El Patio.

Las pastelerías de moda eran El Globo, la pastelería Suiza y Bondy; las panaderías, Elizondo y La Vega; el súper se hacía en Aurrerá, Comercial Mexicana, Gigante, Cemerca o Sumesa. Esta última tienda era el ancla del Centro Satélite, antecedente de Plaza Satélite, el primer mall de la zona metropolitana de la ciudad de México y que decir de Plaza Universidad.

Las medicinas se compraban en la Farmacia de Dios.

Las gasolinas eran, al igual que hoy, de Pemex, pero las marcas eran Mexolina, de 70 octanos; Super Mexolina, de 80, Gasolmex, de 90, y Pemex 100. Todas contenían plomo.

Los discos se compraban en Discolandia y Mercado de Discos y desde 1970 en Hip 70. Las marcas que dominaban el mercado eran Orfeón, Dimsa, Musart y Capitol. José José iniciaba su carrera luego de triunfar sin ganar el Festival de la Canción Latinoamericana con "El Triste". Joan Manuel Serrat, Alberto Cortés, Roberto Carlos y Julio Iglesias empezaban a ganase un lugar entre el público mexicano, en tanto que el rock en inglés avanzaba en el gusto de los jóvenes capitalinos en las estaciones de moda: Radio Capital, Radio Éxitos y La Pantera. Los adultos preferían 620, “La música que llegó para quedarse”, y Radio Chapultepec. Los cultos, XELA, “Buena música en México”. Recuerdan haber oído alguna radionovela?, algunas fueron: -Kalimán, Porfirio Cadena (El Ojo de Vidrio), Chucho El Roto y que decir de la simpatía de los programas de Tres Patines que a la fecha se siguen transmitiendo.

En la XEQK se podía escuchar La Hora cada minuto, así como anuncios de Cuervo, Haste, el Hipódromo de las Américas, el mecánico Marcos Carrasco y Chocolates Turín, entre otros.

Editar cómics era un gran negocio que se repartían Editorial Novaro, que producía títulos como Superman, Batman, Fantomas, historietas de Walt Disney, Lorenzo y Pepita, La pequeña Lulú y Archie, por mencionar algunos; EDAR, con Lágrimas, Risas y Amor, La Doctora Corazón y Memín Pinguín; La Prensa, que editaba Los Cuatro Fantásticos. Novedades Editores, que tenía Chanoc y Los supersabios. Otros éxitos de la época eran La familia Burrón, publicado por la cadena García Valseca; Kalimán (en la versión cómic de la serie de radio), Rolando el Rabioso, Alma Grande, Los Supermachos, después Los Agachados, Tradiciones y Leyendas de la Colonia y Hermelinda Linda.

Los niños no solo jugábamos en los parques plazas y jardines, jugábamos en las calles, solo por mencionar algunos de los juegos preferidos: Fútbol de "coladeritas x portería", carreterita, canicas, tacón, balero, trompo, yoyo, Taca-Taca, bote pateado, bolillo, avión, coleadas, burro castigado, resorte, escondidillas y que decir de los afortunados poseedores de una bicicleta o un carro avalancha y aquellos que poseían un par de patines Gala para utilizarlos en las banquetas y cerradas, o con patines rentados en las pistas de hielo Revolución, Insurgentes y Mariano Escobedo. Los que se podían costear iban al boliche en Bol Polanco, Bol Silverio, Bol Narvarte o el Bol Las Torres, a un costado de las Torres de Satélite. Los establecimientos con futbolitos o con las primeras máquinas electrónicas de monedas.

Las máquinas de escribir eran Olivetti y Remington; las de coser, Singer; las ollas exprés, Ecko o Vasconia; los cubiertos, Oneida. Las aspiradoras, Electrolux o Koblenz; las estufas y los refrigeradores IEM o Mabe.

Entre los útiles escolares, se pedían juegos de geometría Baco, cuadernos Scribe, colores Prismacolor, Fantasy o Dixon Vividel, Blanca Nieves y lápices Mirado.

Haste seguía siendo la hora de México, aunque quienes podían afrontar el gasto usaban Rolex, Omega y Longiness. Las plumas elegantes eran Scheaffer o Parker.

En el mundo intelectual, Carlos Fuentes y Juan García Ponce se reunían con las jóvenes promesas Carlos Monsiváis, José Luis Cuevas y Elena Poniatowska. Las editoriales de moda eran el Fondo de Cultura Económica, Joaquín Mórtiz, Era y la recién nacida Siglo XXI.

En la televisión, además de los canales 2, 4 y 5 de Telesistema Mexicano y del canal 11 del Politécnico, la oferta se había enriquecido con los canales 13 (Corporación Mexicana de Radio y Televisión), de Francisco Aguirre, que transmitía desde la Torre Latinoamericana desde 1968 y que pasaría a manos del gobierno en 1972, y 8 (Televisión Independiente de México), que inició formalmente sus transmisiones el 25 de enero de 1969, creado por un grupo de empresarios de Monterrey que realizaron una fuerte inversión y representaron tal competencia que cinco años después, en 1973, las dos empresas decidieron fusionarse para crear la actual Televisa. En 1985 el canal 8 pasó a ser el 9 y nació XEIMT canal 7, que junto con el 13 eran propiedad del gubernamental Instituto Mexicano de Televisión.

Excélsior era el periódico más leído en México, después de La Prensa. Había superado en la competencia a Novedades, que llevó la delantera durante la primera mitad de los 60 (en 1976, mediante una maniobra del gobierno de Luis Echeverría, Julio Scherer y sus principales colaboradores fueron echados del periódico y fundaron en 1977 la revista Proceso). En 1969 se hizo cargo de El Universal el joven Juan Francisco Ealy Ortiz, quien habría de inyectarle nuevos bríos; permanece como presidente y director general. Los recién llegados (fundados ambos en 1965), El Sol de México y El Heraldo de México, luchaban por ganar la preferencia de los capitalinos. El primero fue adquirido por Mario Vázquez Raña (junto con el resto de la Cadena García Valseca), quien años más tarde se hizo también de La Prensa. El Heraldo fue comprado por José Antonio Pérez Simón y José Gutiérrez Vivó.

La revista más leída era Siempre!, dirigida por José Pagés Llergo.

El Café Oro rivalizaba con el Nescafé; la mayonesa era Mc’Cormik, el atún, Calmex, los chiles enlatados, Herdez o Clemente Jacqes, el puré de tomate, Del Monte, la salsa para condimentar, Maggi, el aceite de cocina, Libertador; el chocolate en polvo Express o Choco Milk; la cajeta, Coronado; el consomé instantáneo, Rosa Blanca, aunque Knorr Suiza empezaba a ganar terreno con su campaña “Es de pollo; $10,000 pesos lo garantizan”. Los jabones eran Camay y Lux, aunque el Palmolive seguía siendo el preferido de las clases populares. Las cremas para manos y cara eran Teatrical y Ponds. Las pastas de dientes, Colgate y Forhans, el jabón para la ropa, Fab.

La oferta hotelera de la capital se había enriquecido un año antes con la inauguración del Camino Real, diseñado por el arquitecto Ricardo Legorreta, que junto con el María Isabel (entonces sin el apellido Sheraton), eran los más elegantes de la ciudad de México. Estaba en marcha el proyecto para edificar el Fiesta Palace (hoy Fiesta Americana Reforma).

Las líneas aéreas eran Aeroméxico y Mexicana de Aviación. Ambas alternaban los tetramotores con jets en sus rutas nacionales.

El destino turístico preferido seguía siendo Acapulco, donde el Mirador, el Flamingos, Hilton, Pierre Marqués, Ritz, Paraíso Marriott, Copacabana y Papagayo eran los hoteles preferidos.

What were your humanformers' couples' first dates?

Hope y'all are ready for some sweetness!

Tracks/Raoul: So Tristan was not waiting for anything besides Raoul's go-ahead to plan a date. While the group was still in NYC, he managed to find a nice dance club that had some good food and drinks. While Raoul was initially reserved about how interested this bougie business boy actually was in a mechanic, the chemistry was near immediate (even without the possible head injuries). The banter was great and that Tristan was actually pretty decent at dancing! Though... Raoul certainly took the time to show him some new steps (with more touching than strictly necessary).

Fort Max/Cerebros: The first date was casual and low-key. Chrysa found a nice little lake, packed some food, and the two took a nice walk. Faolan relaxed away from any responsibilities besides paying attention to his date and it was quite nice. By the end of the date, Faolan asks if he can kiss her and she full-heartedly consents.

Needlenose/Horri-bull: The first unofficial date was Nathan inviting Horace out after the near mugging. The first official date was while Horace was in recovery. Logan let him in after normal visiting hours and Nathan brought some pub grub with a device to watch their favorite show on. Horace was struggling really hard to not cry by the end of it because people just don't do that for him.

Powerglide/Astoria: Astoria doesn't wait for Parwaz to make a plan and gets to it herself. Back before the governments started cracking down, a fair was in town and she made sure that they made it to the fun! Parwaz does actually manage to win her a small toy--some sort of weird bird. She was over the moon about it. She explains to him that, sure it's some cheap little thing, but he won it for her. That makes it special to her anyway. The night ends with Parwaz getting some strong emotions and maybe thinking that they don't need to drag the courtship out (LOL).

Seaspray/Alana: Sébastien asks Alana offhandedly about where the best places are. Sure, he's visited Veracruz a few times as a sailor, but he just doesn't have a lay of the land as she would. (Note, she is from the Puebla region but spends a lot of time in Veracruz.) As Sébastien is not particularly subtle, she figures out that he's fishing (hah) for date ideas. She instead loops her arm around his and offers to do better than merely tell him. They start at a cafe for some coffee before going onto dancing with dinner. The night ends with the two walking along the docks, talking about their travels and research. Some fun childhood anecdotes are shared. Sébastien brings her home and, not wanting to press, tells her that he very much enjoyed the day and hopes to hear back from her soon.

Swindle/Madeline Pynch: It's hard to say what their first date actually was as they're not all that traditional of a couple. The closest would have been when the group was working security detail for some execs, she was one of the last shareholders to leave and, still trying to court her business, Shigeru leaves his post to talk to her and, once again, lays on the charm for her. She decided to listen to him, telling him that she only had a time slot open at 10pm. He instantly agrees and tells her he knows just the place. Turns out that there's an excellent Japanese bar in that city. However, she nearly walked back out on him as it was this little hole in the wall, but he cajoled her into staying. They did talk business and money and, well, the chemistry started crackling. Shigeru did not return in a timely manner that night.

Blast-Off/Cosmos: In between moving locations (fairly early in the war), Bernardino managed to meet up with Corinna. They met up for coffee and lunch, after which, Corinna suggested they go on this really nice nature walk she found. They spent the time talking about things they'd seen and difficult coworkers and clients, Bernardino more boldly flirting while Corinna reciprocated--if more shy about it. While she did not have her expensive "shooting for Nat Geo" camera, she did have her hobby camera and the two took fun and silly pictures along their walk. By the end of it, she promised to send him the pictures and he placed a kiss on her cheek. Both went back to their hotels feeling very twitterpated.

Afterburner/Lightspeed: Ailean (AB) and Luz (LS) spent their actual first date at a pub. It's lowkey and a relaxing way to figure how to fully transition from a platonic relationship to romantic. As the evening continued on, both eased more, sitting closer together. (Optional rest of the team + Grimlock sitting outside going YES! YES!) Ailean reaches over, takes her hand, and smiles. They eventually leave and find an ice cream place open late and decide to pick for each other. It's not hard for one to pick what the other might like. By the end of the night, they return and, before anything can be said, Luz gives him a long and lingering kiss. He's not sure how he made it back to bed after that.

Loudpedal/Exhaust: Their first date is actually a night in. Some take out plus some B movie with a surprisingly decent soundtrack. Erica challenges Logan to come up with some of his own tracks using samples they both liked. After putting some together, both of them began riffing and coming up with lyrics, some silly and some more serious. It went on for a while before Erica looked at the time and, begrudgingly, said she had to go home. Logan held her hand for an extra moment and, pressing a little closer, asked if they could kiss. She quite willfully obliged and it perhaps took a bit longer to get out the door than she intended.

Megaempress/Flowspade Fumie took Magdalene out to a concert. However, she kept going into bodyguard mode. After a bit, Maggie (a special privilege for her girls) decided to calm her down by putting an arm around her shoulders and pulling her in close. The world is cold and hard, but boob warm and soft. After the concert, they walked casually through town and Maggie had a lot of questions about what Fumie thought. Neither had much opportunity to attend concerts before, so it's nice to go and then relive it through conversation. They passed by a sweets shoppe and Maggie insisted they go inside. Afterwards, they continued their stroll until they had to return. Fumie stumbled through asking for a kiss, but Maggie understood.

Jumpstream/Dust Up (still gotta work on these two)

Lancer/Greenlight I still need to come up with Greenlight, but I think the babysitter fell through and Leila ended up taking both Greenlight and Gauge out. Maybe to a Build a Bear.

Brawn/Cover Girl The first date for these two is dancing. Bautista was plenty ready to show her the local dance steps and Courtney wasn't minding either. They were bouncing between dancing and breaks for a drink and some air, mostly to chat. They spoke about quite a few topics including how, while working for the Mexican military was fine, Bautista was feeling an itch for something else. After a fun while of dancing, Bautista brought her to one of his favorite taquerias. After some food and more conversation, Bautista escorted Courtney home, taking her hand for a cheeky little kiss before heading home himself.
