ok but after the official end of the day today, I hc (p!? q!?) bad as having gone curled up by the campfire in the base, sitting on it weirdly like a cat and just. Watching. Watching the door. Every time he hears a weird noise from the wind blowing above the elevator he gets all excited that his friends have came back from (separate hc that when people are offline they are investigating and exploring the island, some of those who rarely log on are treating this like a vacation and have nice homes away from conflict except for missa, he has been gathering apples and regularly dropping by the old base to try and give them to the team but they aren’t there and he doesn’t know why and so he goes out apple picking again because he is a TEAM PLAYER (sorry I love him)) come back from their investigations.

Tina gets back from messing with Red today and she and bad both start making s’mores and hot chocolate for the team except Bad keeps stealing the marshmallows and eating them and Tina is trying to get him to stop because she has been TRYING to make the PERFECT SMORE EVER for Bagi and she needs ALL THE MARSHMALLOWS she can get because NONE OF THESE ATTEMPTS are perfect enough.

Bad definitely steals one of the best s’mores Tina made and hid it to give to Forever and say that he made it. Tina notices it’s gone but Bad lies saying Coco ate it.

(Coco and Caramel are coloring with charcoal and flower dyes on paper from the farm if you even care)

Coco did not eat it but Bad paid them off with a smuggled piece of chocolate.

(I might continue these “headcanons” after I get a bit more homework done.)

the fact that is no hint of incentive or end goal right now is actually what i really like about it because the eggs being on the line last time was TOO FUCKING STRESSFUL and caused a LOT of community drama whether or NOT there was a cursed team. im GLAD there isn't anyone we're attached to on the line this time, I THINK. AT LEAST. WHO KNOWS.

like if anything the incentive and reward at the end is "confetti confetti, you're going to quesadilla island! beautiful island of your dreams confetti celebration" and i'd prefer that a LOT more. and i think the drama will be LESS because there's no eggs involved and because it's mostly new people that we won't know, we don't know them yet, no one should be fast to fight over characters and creators we barely know
