hi! very excited for this project ❤️, but I have a question… there gonna be some translation?
Soy hablante nativo del español y creo sería genial si se pudiera traducir!!
Of course I don’t know too much about the process of creating video games so if it’s very complicated, I would understand
Hola!!
We would of course love for Delectatio Morosa to be available in multiple languages, but it would be an involved process that would happen after release.
We would be more than happy to provide the files to add a translation, which our game engine is definitely capable of doing. The translation file is just a txt with the original script lines above and the an empty line below for a translator to write the equivalent statements in their language.
Example (blue is original script, red is the translator's script):
more about this here.
But we want to be clear about the extent of work that would need to be done to keep the game functional.
There are 2 levels of translation:
Coding + Translating: someone with coding knowledge may be able to translate, then re-add the styling tags applied to the script for special effects (shaking, colors, sizes, fonts, etc.) that were originally applied. They would also have to look back to the game to fix text overflow and sentence splitting more appropriate to the translated language.
Pure Translation: someone without coding knowledge may translate the text as is, with the styling tags omitted. this means no more styling or special effects, and a possibility of text overflow making it difficult to read.
In both cases, we would generate a translation file. But in case 1, the file would retain the styling tags for a coder's reference, while in case 2, we would remove all styling tags and the text will essentially be "plain" (losing out on all the styling features).
Feel free to reach out to us if you would like to create a translation in your language, and we can provide the file for those interested in translating after release.
I hope this answers your question. Thanks for reaching out!!!

[Addie shook their head vigorously.]
No no, that's super neat! I thinks it's great that your work was your passion! It must've felt like you never worked a day!
[They suddenly remembered something that made them light up.]
I actually like to code stuff too!! I'm nowhere near as good as you are, but I've made a few games!
...
Okay, we'll, there's only one game I've made that's actually done. The others are, uh... Not so much. But they still run!
[They send over a couple of their games as files: There's "snake jump," an incredibly barebones doodle jump clone and the only complete game, "Destroy the city as a snake 3," a choppy 3D destruction game with worryingly wonky physics, and "slither princess 7 (remake)," which appears to be some sort of... attempt at an RPG game. All three games are quite the pieces of work under the hood... "If-else" stacks and unoptimized models as far as the eye can see... Is that a 20k polygon toothbrush?!]
These are my best ones so far!! Not exactly sentient AI, but they're playable! Uhm, never actually tested em on another computer, though...
-Addie
"Fv! C'q eodr yc xb t cprhy iixr... Try ay fxe prws.."
[Sonny took his time to look through the files, the code, the assets of each game. He was... a lot nicer than you would have expected for such an advanced coder.]
[For the most part, he thought the games were rather charming! Cute, even. He could tell that it was very beginner coding- definitely not optimized in the slightest (he noticed this because he could feel a very noticeable amount of strain on the cpu when he opened them). It was not "publishing" ready, but it was nice to see how they've started. Maybe in time he could give them a few tips, teach them how to refine things.]
[He couldn't let that model slide though.]

My stupid guide to getting the stupid list of people YOU FOLLOW on tumblr
if tumblr has some way fo getting a list of usernames and urls of blogs you follow i don't know of it, if theres some script i don't know it, if theres anything. LET ME KNOW. but since i dont think there is welcome to my bruteforce method of getting a list of people you follow.
I am not a coder, i don't know how to do this with a program, and i dont know of any program that does it, no programmer thats going to or anything so im bruteforcing this in perhaps a stupid way but it works
go to your https://www.tumblr.com/following page
its just this same link, it takes you to the list of everyone you follow Then you need to load EVERY FOLLOWER by scrolling ALLL THE WAY DOWN the list, i have 2000 blogs i follow but ti doesnt take long for me to get to the end, yes you have to do this.
rightclick and select inspect
a box will come up, this might be scary for non techy people, don't worry were just looking at the code underneath the site, nothing you change will be permanent. dont mess around here unless you know kinda what youre doing, but dont be scared for what were gonna do.
there are several tabs to this new window, we want to be in the inspector tab, and when you mouse over the text in here you can notice that it flashes certain parts of tumblr. these different lines all pertain to certain spots of the webpage so you can see what tumblr wants you to see.
we want to find where they put the followers
so were gonna hover over:
and notice that the very center and only the center where you're followers are shown is lit up, that means inside this line somewhere is your follower list ((its not gonna be pretty)) use the little arrow on the side of this line and click it to expand the underlying code (this is really called nesting i think im not a coder, basically when there an arrow, theres stuff in there)
open the next arrow too (main something something)
keep hovering over the lines within this one and see which one lights up the center and only open that one, next one is "section something something" next class something something
now this might start to look familliar to you if you read all these "data-cell-id=" lines these are all the people you follows usernames,
I'm sure someone who knows how to code would be able to grab this in a neat way and put it in a text document for us, but i dont know how to do that i just know i want it.
so what i do is:
right click the line whose arrow we just opened to be able to see this and select "copy, inner html" this line to be clear
and i make a new notepad document(txt) on my computer, and i paste all that shit in there. and yes it looks like complete nonsense because everything is going everywhere with text you dont need or understand. dont worry about it. you still have all your list of following usernames in there.
now i used vs code(or visual studio code) (its a free program you can just get it if you want use google) and you dont even need to know any coding for this cleaning step. to clean this up, i open the document i created with all this shit in it in vs code and it has the capability to select every instance of a word or symbol or whatever and delete every single one, or replace it. it can also write with multiple cursors at the end of every line of text at the same time. so this way i can get rid of all this nonsense stuff to line up everyones usernames the way i'd like.
you can use google to figure out how to do this, or fuff about in vs code, but selecting a chunk and right clicking and choosing "change all occurrences" is what i used the most.
now if someone who actually codes could… help.. help me please.. dont let anyone else have to use this guide, there has to be a better way. thank you i love you

From List to Data: A Beginner’s Guide to Data Transformation
In today’s data-driven world, transforming raw information into structured formats is a critical skill. One common task in data processing is converting a list—a simple, unstructured sequence of values—into structured data that can be analyzed, visualized, or stored. A “list” might be a shopping list, a sequence of names, or numbers collected from user inputs. “Data,” in contrast, refers to a structured format such as a table, database, or dataset. The goal of transforming a list to data is to make it usable for insights, automation, or further manipulation. Understanding this process helps beginners make sense of how information is organized in software systems, spreadsheets, or databases. It’s not just a programming task—it’s a foundational part of digital literacy.
Why Converting Lists to Data Matters
Lists are everywhere: in text files, spreadsheets, form submissions, or even copied from emails. But these lists often need structure before they can be used. Structured data can be sorted, filtered, analyzed, or even turned into charts. For example, if you receive a list of customer names and purchases, it’s just raw text until it’s organized into phone number data and columns—where each row is a customer and each column is a data point like name, item, or price. Without this transformation, automation tools, machine learning models, or even basic Excel functions can’t work effectively. Converting lists to structured data enables better decisions, reporting, and scaling of workflows.

Simple Tools for List-to-Data Conversion
You don’t need to be a coder to transform lists into data. Tools like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or Notepad++ make this easy. For example, using the "Text to Columns" feature in Excel, you can split list items into cells. In Google Sheets, functions like SPLIT() and ARRAYFORMULA() help break down and reorganize text. Online tools like CSV converters also turn lists into structured CSV files. These steps make it easier for users to handle raw data without complex scripts. Beginners can start with drag-and-drop interfaces and learn basic data formatting.
Moving Beyond Basics: Automation with Python and Scripts
Once you’re comfortable with basic tools, learning to automate list-to-data conversions with scripting languages like Python is a powerful next step. Python libraries such as pandas make it simple to import a list from a file and convert it into a DataFrame—a table-like data structure. For example, if you have a list stored in a .txt file, Python can read it, parse it using string functions, and format it into rows and columns automatically. This is especially useful when handling large or repetitive data. Automating the process not only saves time but also reduces human error. It opens the door to building entire data pipelines, integrating APIs, or performing advanced analysis.

What are the permissions for your minecraft antisemitism-begone mod? looking to make some sort of patch/version of it to let it work (nose removal, construct name, etc) with the dark skinned villagers from vanilla-tweaks' variated villagers. I will be learning minecraft mod making to do so, this isnt a beg to you to do free labour. If the answer is no (no patch or no making your own from scratch) that is all good, thumbs up You did really great work with that mod btw
Ironically I've been meaning to update it for ages, but having gotten a job IRL I haven't had time (っ °Д °;)っ (it nags at me every time I see the files on my desktop), but you're more than welcome to use it as a base for your own projects or incorporate it into other things! I will say it's not a mod, just a texture pack for vanilla minecraft, I'm not smart enough to make a mod haha. I'm an artist not a coder so trust when I say the actual code behind the texture pack is incredibly basic and 99% googled. But if you'd like help feel free to dm me I'm definitely willing to lend a hand or give advice on the textures.
My only real requirement is that if you use the translations, you have to include the credits of the translators who have helped with the project, which you can find in the ZIP file of the texture pack as a TXT file labeled "Translation Credits".

ScrapeStorm Vs. ParseHub: Which Web Scraper is Better?
Web scraping is no longer an act meant only for programmers. Even non-coders can now scrape any data from any website without writing a single line of code — thanks to the existence of visual web scrapers such as ScrapeStorm and ParseHub. With visual web scrapers, anybody with the skill of using the mouse can extract data from web pages.
Allow us to compare some of the 2 most popular options in the market.
ScrapeStorm and ParseHub are both very powerful and useful web scraping tools. Today, we will put both tools head-to-head to determine which is the best for your scraping project.
ParseHub Introduction ParseHub is a full-fledged web scraper. It comes as a free desktop app with premium features. Hundreds of users and businesses around the world use ParseHub daily for their web scraping needs.
ParseHub was built to be an incredibly versatile web scraper with useful features such as a user-friendly UI, page navigation, IP rotations and more.
ScrapeStorm Introduction
ScrapeStorm is an AI-Powered visual web scraping tool, which can be used to extract data from almost any websites without writing any code. It is powerful and very easy to use. You only need to enter the URLs, it can intelligently identify the content and next page button, no complicated configuration, one-click scraping. ScrapeStorm is a desktop app available for Windows, Mac, and Linux users. You can download the results in various formats including Excel, HTML, Txt and CSV. Moreover, you can export data to databases and websites.

Data Extraction Methods How is data being extracted in a web scraper determines whether you will find it easy to use a web scraper or not.

ParseHub support for a point and click interface. It also has support for XPATH — and that is not all. ParseHub has got support for CSS selectors which makes it easier for those with a background in web development. It also has support for regular expression, making it possible to scrape data hidden deep within texts. However, the way of clicking on ParseHub is a bit complicated, and it takes some learning to master it.

ScrapeStorm also does support a point-and-click interface. It also supports XPATH, regular expressions and more. The data selection method of ScrapeStorm is very simple and clear, and related operations can also be performed through the buttons on the interface. Even if you don’t know the software at all, you can start extracting data at the first time.
Conclusion
Looking at the above, you would see that there are no much differences between ScrapeStorm and ParseHub. In fact, they are more similar than they are different from each other. This means that for the most part, the one you use does not really matter as they should both be useful for most visual web scraping projects.
However, from experience, ScrapeStorm is a little bit simpler and easier to use than ParseHub because of the lesser features it comes with — it is also cheaper.

Hola!
