"Doctor Who isn't a scientist. He's a wizard" is really funny, but I think this later section from that same interview is rather sweet:
Tumblr media
His favourite "digs" are at a little pub near Ealing Broadway where he can share a round, a laugh and a game of darts.
"I'm a countryman at heart," Bill said. "I love fishing, especially sea fishing for bass. I have a couple of rods down at Newhaven and go there whenever I get the chance.
"My favourite exercise is chopping wood.
"My wife and I are both keen bird-watchers. During the big freeze a few winters back, you'd be amazed at all the different birds which came to visit us. We kept them alive during that cold weather.
"We found out what food each bird liked, and got it for them somehow."
He paused for a moment to give a very fine impression of a thrush scoffing a tinned gooseberry.
"Everyone has to escape somehow," Bill said. "Some people do it through TV. My escape is in the English countryside, which I love.
"Nothing would ever make me leave it to explore life on some other planet."

If you haven’t received a Guero ask yet, I would like him with with prompt #4: 'I'm cold, and you're warm, you should do something about that." Pretty please!
Even though I love his dad more, he’s still a really cute guy!
Masterlist
Eventful Outing
Contains: Fishing (killing fish for food given a two-word mention) fluff.

“When it rains on the ocean it rains on fish too.” - Matshona Dhliwayo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As you stood in the rain with the river flowing by you, you wondered why you had agreed to this, "I brought plenty of food, can't we go inside until the rain eases up?"
Guero snorted, "No fucking way, I told you I was going to catch us a fish for dinner and I am."
You looked to his father, who shook his head, "The young man had a plan y/n, I'm sure we won't be waiting long."
When Guero got you to agree to go on a fishing trip up north with him and Ibarra, you didn't think that would mean being stuck in the rain while they struggled to catch dinner, "It's not Salmon season so the only fish you're going to get now is Bass. You need to put different bait on the line."
Guero glared at you, but there was no fire behind it, "You could have told us that an hour ago."
His father huffed, "I tried to son, but you wanted things your way, telling me you read a book and shit. But now a pretty woman tells you and you're rushing to do what she says."
Guero walked towards the shore, making sure to flick water at you as he took different bait from the box, "You wanna tell me how you know all of this and I don't?"
You blinked, "I wasn't the only one, it's not a my fault you don't listen to me or your father."
Guero smirked, "I listen to you where it counts."
Despite your best efforts, you couldn't ignore the snicker that his dad gave, "Please shut up before I drown you."
He turned to his father and inhaled in fake offence, "Do you hear how she talks to me Pops?"
Ibarra shook his head, "You deserve it son, you got a big mouth."
Your eyes widen in agreement, "Doesn't he? Holy shit, sometimes he won't shut up." Guero gave you a look and you held up a hand, "I know what you're about to say and if the words come out of your mouth I'm going to drown you for sure."
He chuckled, "I wasn't going to say anything."
Ibarra's hearty chuckle followed, "Yes, you were, it was as obvious as something can be."
You shook your head, "Ok if this keeps going, I will drown myself." Still, you knew that look on Guero's face, "You are incorrigible."
He smiled, "You love me."
You sighed, "Yes, I do. Now please catch us food. I'm freezing my ass off over here and I know for sure I packed enough food to last us, so I'm only standing here to preserve your ego."
He hands his father a chunk of bait before baiting his hook and throwing the line, "How did you know about the bait anyway? You hate camping."
"One, we're not camping, we're staying in a cabin and two, I like to be prepared, so I talked to the bait shop attendant." You pointed to the box, "There's even stuff in there for crayfish since I bought a pamphlet for how to build traps from sticks and leaves and I thought you might like to try it."
Ibarra smiled, "How thoughtful. That would be great y/n, I love crayfish."
Guero turned to you and mouthed, "Kissass." But his eye betrayed how much he appreciated the amount of investment you had put towards this vacation.
There was a change in the light and you looked up, the clouds growing even more ominous, "We're about to get a storm so you two better hurry up."
Guero chuckled, "So you can predict the weather now? Tell me oh wise one, what other powers do you...." The skies opened in a torrent of water, "I stand corrected."
You sighed, "I'd say you've got about twenty minutes before the thunder starts."
"We'll have a fish by then." Guero sounded so sure of himself that there was no point in dissenting and sure enough, when the first crack of thunder came across the sky, Guero's rod jerked, "I told you."
After a few mighty heaves, it was out of the water and dispatched humanely and Ibarra reeled in his line and sighed, "Alright then, can we go inside before we're hit by lightning."
"Please, I'm freezing to death." You were so cold you swore your fingers were going to fall off.
 Guero chuckled, "Hell yeah."
Everyone headed inside and wrapped themselves in towels, "I'm going to clean and prep that fish and have a shower, no touches it."
"I caught it, don't you think I should be the one to cook it." He was as smug as ever.
Your eyes went wide, "No fucking way. A light and sweet river fish this fresh only has two preparation, baked with crispy skin or poisson en papillote. The oven here isn't powerful enough to bake it properly so poisson en papillote is it."
Guero looked at you with such affection that you felt your heart might burst, "I have no idea what poisson en papillote but there was enough passion in your voice to let me know I should give up."
Ibarra smiled, "It's French for fish in paper. It's really nice."
Guero snorted, "Since when did you two get so fancy?"
You sighed, "Please finely slice some onions. If you've got time to be all judgy, then you have time to help."
Guero smirked, "I can do that."
****
"Thish is sho good, you have to coo thish all the time."
You shook your head, "Guero, don't talk with your mouth full, it's rude."
"It is very good, all that time in the rain was worth it." You could tell Ibarra was trying extra hard, he knew how much his son loved you, and he wanted to make the most of the time away.
You nodded, "I don't think I've ever cooked with fish that fresh, maybe tomorrow we can try and get some crayfish."
Guero suppressed a smile, "Look at you two getting along, and here I thought y/n was rude to everyone. I guess it's just me."
You huffed in mock offence, "I am not rude to you, I just don't worship the ground you walk on like the other women you've spent you time with." The glare you fixed him stopped him from quipping back, "Yeah, that's what I thought. You're big mouth is going to get you into trouble one day."
Ibarra, "It's already got him into plenty. Do you know about the time he landed in the principle's office for talking shit to a cop that came by the school to give a career talk?"
"No, but I'm hoping you're going to tell me now." You weren't going to lie, you were hoping Ibarra would provide you at least one embarrassing story before you made your way back to SP.
Guero chuckled, "Oh, you're having so much fun aren't you."
You nodded, "Fuck yeah."
****
The night wound down, this fish picked clean and the bread pudding Ibarra gone in one sitting. You tended to the fire in your room and shivered as Guero came up behind you, "Let me do that Mi amor."
You pressed your lips to his cheek as you headed to the bed, moaning as the warmth from the heated blanket surrounded your skin, "You turned it on?"
He nodded, "Of course. I can't have you going to bed cold now, can I?"
With the fire stoked, he climbed into bed and rested on his back next to you and just as he got comfortable, you stretched your cold foot across the bed and brushed him with it, "Jesus Christ."
You flipped onto your side, "I'm cold, and you're warm, you should do something about that."
Guero sighed and freed himself of his shirt before reaching over and manhandling yours off, after that, he pulled you into his arms so your skin was pressed again his, "Better?"
You nodded, "Yep."
He ran a hand up and down your back and rubbed your nose with his, "This is the closest we've been all day."
You pecked his cheek, "Yeah I know, but I don't really want to make out with you in front of your father."
He smiled, "It's not like he hasn't seen some shit."
You huffed, "Next time he can bring someone and then it won't be awkward."
Guero's eyebrows furrowed, "On second thought."
You shook your head, "I have spent the whole day missing touching you."
"Yeah?" He sounded so smug, "Maybe there's something I can do for that?"
"Nope, we're going to bed." As much as you wanted to, you had no idea how thin the walls were.
He buried his nose in your hair and inhaled, "Alright Mi amor, I love you."
"Goodnight Guero, I love you too."

Drawing a Zora based on each in-game fish. We’re on to the Chillfin Trout!
Wasn’t sure about the colors at first, but I like how it turned out! This is Chidra. Having been fascinated by weather since she was a young guppy, when Chidra grew up she decided to travel out to Hebra to study meteorology. She’s a polite and passionate young woman who spends most of her time hiking the mountains charting snowdrift and tracking glaciers. When she isn’t traveling the mountains, she comes back to rest and (attempt to) make friends in Rito Village. She tends to be forgetful and often gets lost in her work, but her brilliance is unmatched. Thanks to her studies, she’s begun experimenting with using Zora magic to manipulate ice in the same matter others manipulate water.
I’m trying to give the trout a mostly shorter and slimmer look than the bass because of their in-game models, but Chidra needed a lil layer of chub to keep her warm in the cold

unhinged 30 days of otherkin challenge except I do it all in one day lol (link to questions here)
day one: (dog) probably something with lots of bugs and rich soil! dig dig dig!!
day two: (dragon) cold ocean for sure! even though I’m a sea/rain hybrid—which would make you think I’d like tropical oceans—cold oceans are the best! warm ones are cool too when you see all the fish
day three: (cat) wet cat food (probably chicken or some land meat flavour, fish is nasty), mouse meat, and blueberries!
day four: (alien) the endless storm and oceans of neptune. the wind would whip through my antennae, and rain would splatter my slick skin
day five: (dog) sticks are amazing! I love it when my family throws sticks in the lake for me to swim and catch!
day six: (deer) mmm, leaves are delicious! plus, they make for great cover, and they’re so beautiful too
day seven: (deer) well, as a caribou, some of my brethren migrate, but I’m perfectly cozy where I am now. I have no need to migrate; I have all the food and shelter I need
day eight: (owl) sleepy!! even when it’s nighttime, I get pretty sleepy. makes flying kinda hard lol
day nine: (dragon) waaaay bigger than a breadbox! I would probably crush a breadbox lol, human stuff is so tiny
day ten: (deer) long grasses and peaty soil, with the occasional bug skittering across the ground
day eleven: (alien) definitely my mandibles and antennae! it was so weird at first, because most of my kintypes are mammals or something similar to that, but this was completely different. I’m used to it now, and I love swiveling my antennae around
day twelve: (water) hmmm… I can’t really think of anything. maybe spotify, because there is a wide variety of music that reflects the constant flow of water, and how some of it is calming and slow, and other ones are hardcore and fast
day thirteen: (cat) mmm, pretty good. feeling kinda lazy today because of the weather, but still good overall. currently listening to music while doing this challenge, and my companion alley is snoozing beside me.
day fourteen: (water) I’d probably end up breaking it, y’know, since water and electronics don’t mix well. unfortunate, but that’s nature
day fifteen: (dog) I like having lots of soft things like plushies and warm blankets and plenty of pillows! when I’m regressed as a puppy, they make me feel so cozy and happy! i also like piling my blankets into something shaped somewhat like a dog bed and flopping on it
day sixteen: (deer) hmmm, that’s kinda tricky. yarn is alright, but it’s gotta be that kind that isn’t scratchy. fleece is good too, but I overheat too much, so it can be uncomfortable when I get too hot
day seventeen: (dog) no no, I’m a good dog! I only like biting my toys, I would never bite a human! at least, unless they deserved it…
day eighteen: (owl) chia seeds huh, I’ve never tried them. not too much of a seed owl myself, I much prefer meat, like a good mouse or bird!
day nineteen: (dragon) nah, I could never knit. too clumsy, and my big claws would probably keep snagging the yarn. too bad, knitted stuff is so pretty!
day twenty: (alien) it’s kinda slimey, but not something like a frog or eel. maybe like a shark, but when you rub it head to tail, not the other way. it’s kinda scaley too, but you can’t immediately tell that there are scales, because they’re so small.
day twenty-one: (water) glossy for sure! it makes anything look shiny and beautiful, just like the surface of the water
day twenty-two: (owl) my favourite kind of music is ones with a lot of different instruments. it’s so fun trying to pick out all the different sounds and identifying which ones are which. love songs with a good bass or echoey effect too
day twenty-three (my favourite number): (cat) my fur immediately bushes up, and my tail starts to lash in anticipation. you never know what it might be, so it’s better to be careful!
day twenty-four: (deer) my hearing, for sure. I can pick up the quietest sounds, and it lets me stay alert no matter where I am. sucks when I have to be in a noisy place though, ow…
day twenty-five: (dog) I’m sure I could last for quite a while! I got a good nose, so I could probably find food and water pretty fast (depending where I am), and I can always run if something scary finds me.
day twenty-six: (alien) something with a very appealing texture, like fresh peas or carrots. I would have a muted taste, but it wouldn’t be something super bland either.
day twenty-seven: (dragon) I would much rather be asleep than stay awake, but I might go for a night fly around the jungle.
day twenty-eight: (owl) uhh, fingers? I don’t got no fingers! just wings and talons, no need for fingers here! although it would be nice to have an opposable digit on my talons…
day twenty-nine: (dog) anything smells good! cooked meat smells good, veggies smell good, fruits smell good, everything! love candles too, they’re my favourite!!
day thirty: kinda! it made me reflect more on my kintypes, and it was fun writing these responses in my different kintypes. would definitely recommend doing this, and I’d for sure do something like this again :D

EYELASHES/🍓 ANON POPS UP RANDOMLY
Here is a little detox questions for you because you deserve it for the hard work 😔✨
1. OOOO your MBTI?
2. What's your favorite season? Like a season that makes you melt in bed 🏃🏃🏃 (only me?)
3. Favorite singer? And their favorite song?
4. ANY FUNNY SCENARIO HAPPENED THAT IS STILL IN YOUR MIND?
5. If you had the ability to posses one power, what will it be? 😗🧐
6. Do fishes have thirst for water 🧍
(yes that last one was random and had me thinking nonstop like wtf do fishes drink water orrr-)
ANYWAYS LOVE U AND TAKE CARE, YOU DESERVE THE WORLD
Tumblr media Tumblr media
aw :( ty 🍓 !!! you're v sweet, these are some fun lil' questions :D ya should tell me yer own answers if ya get the chance, I'm curious !!!
1- I honestly have no idea 😭 I took the test a couple times before bc I kept forgetting cause all those letters are hard to remember and I still don't remember!!! heh im sorry 👉👈
2- melt in bed... that sounds so funny 💀 I'm a fan of winter!!!!!! I love the chrimuth decorations and the cold weather bc I like to get all warm and toasty, plus I like to wear the sweaters I crochet/knit throughout the year
3- favorite singer... That's a hard one indeed 🤔 I listen to all types of music that makes my brain go brrr especially music with lots and lots of bass, I think my favorite type has to be hard metal screamo rap music simply because headbangin' is somethin' I do to stim when I'm overwhelmed with hefty emotions. 🧍 my favorite song that I'm currently hyperfixatin' on though is 'I love you hoe' by odetari & 9lives, I don't care for the lyrics but I really enjoy the 'spacey' feelin' I get when I listen to it... Kinda like that one song where people had this belief that it made people do their homework faster I think it was somethin' like... 'i can run faster with no wind resistance' or something, but the beat was so wiggly I have to find that song again... I JUST LOOKED IT UP-- the song is literally called 'no wind resistance' holy shit 😭
4- sigh... for some reason, I can't keep myself from laughin' when I hear someone pourin' liquid??? I used to have a thermos (I need to buy a new one) that I would fill with hot black/green tea and then whenever id pour the tea into the lil' cup I would giggle hysterically like some crazy person 😭 I think it's hereditary however, cause this morning I was drinkin' coffee near my mom and I have a tendency to 'slurp' from my mug and she kept gigglin' when I would slurp from it 😭 she also laughs when things are poured. the autism is strong in the family ngl. I even laughed RN at the memory of pourin' a cup of tea ._.
5- oh ya already know I'm gonna have my mailtda powers manifested soon 🧍 I'm talkin' telepathy, spell castin', teleportation, levitation, all that shit, but I do not want the ability to mind read bc that does not sound fun. hmm... pyrokinesis could be fun too
6- you'll have to ask 🐠 anon for that one 💀 bUt!!! I did learn a terrible fact today about dolphins! did y'know that dolphins terrorize pufferfish so that they can get high off the chemical that the pufferfish release in defense of predators? they throw the pufferfish around with the use of their teeth and stuff, tossin' them up and around, even above water, and then they like know when they need to stop gettin' high before the chemicals become lethal. there's enough poison in one pufferfish to kill 30 human adults but dolphins just love gettin' fuckin' HIGH!
im sorry for the ramblin' but if there's one thing to be told about me... I talk way too fuckin' much despite bein' an ambivert with a heavy lean towards bein' an introvert 🧍

Ok homie what are your gta hc's?
thank you for the ask!! I've honestly got a shitton of gta hcs (including gtav) so it might be a bit all over the place but bare with me. Ship hcs are included here too :]]
Brucie
- has no idea how to cook, and whenever he attempts to he'll call either Niko or Roman for help despite them having no idea what the fuck he's talking about
- never touches drugs, though bullshark testortone / steroids is an exception, but will smoke a cigarette / blunt from time to time
- loves collecting different types of jackets (sports jackets, leather, punk, biker, etc)
- bids on celebrity worn / movie prop shit off of ebay. not because he wants it, but so he could fuck with people
- former highschool boxer, tried to pursue it when he got older but got his ass kicked in a match and backed out for awhile
- despite being a health-nut, he loves anything sugary and genuinely has to restrain himself
- really likes soft rock / rap music
- prefers hot, scorching weather days. not because he likes the weather, but because he gets an excuse to be shirtless in public and show off his tattoos
Niko
- loves watching horseracing, he'll rarely bid on the horses but still enjoys watching
- (related to the previous hc) collects horse / horse carousel figurines or anything related
- really likes cats and fish :3 whenever Nikos feeling alone or sad of some sort, he goes to the aquarium after-hours to collect his thoughts and relax
- feeds the street cats whenever he can
- horrible sleep schedule, but still gets up early everyday
- likes the 2000s skelanimals brand and has even boughten some of their plushes (he likes Rae the wolf specifically)
- favorite holiday is halloween!! he'll go trick or treating for a bit before giving whatever candy they dont want to his friends
- gets nightmares almost on a daily basis
- loves playing cards, specifically egyption war
- unironically got nightmares from watching Killer Klowns from Outerspace despite denying he was scared and stayed away from the carnival for a month
Johnny
- actually a really good sewer! whenever he finds cool band patches he'll buy (or steal) 'em and sew it onto his biker jacket right then and there
- has a pet coyote (it comes by every now and then and let's Johnny pet'em)
- loves cats and visits cat cafes often :3
- likes playing old Cube / Wii / Playstation games, even goes to the arcade occasionally and brings all the brothers with him
- robs the liquor store alot, not for alcohol but for slushies for him and the gang (even the dancers at the club house too)

These Baits Will Land You Fall Bass
Fishing changes just like the seasons. Don't miss out on this list of must-have bass baits!
Sometimes, it can be challenging for anglers to catch fish when the weather shifts from Summer to Fall. Changes in barometric pressure can make fish swim to different depths, and when a cold front comes in, you might not catch any fish at all. Although the weather and temperatures can be quite unpredictable, there are certain techniques that can enhance your chances of landing a sizable…

Animal Crossing Fish Dish Friday - #6
Brought to you by a marine biologist who can't take the heat...
CLICK HERE FOR THE AC FISH EXPLAINED MASTERPOST!
Anchoas al Ajillo & Seafood Ajillo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In ACNH: Anchoas al ajillo: 1. Fish up an Anchovy to get recipe. 2. Cook on the stove with 2 Anchovies. Seafood Ajillo is a pain in the ass: 1. Get recipe from a random villager cooking or get it from your cook in the Restaurant in Happy Home Designer. 2. Cook on the stove with: 1 Scallop, 1 Tiger Prawn, and 1 Squid.
In Real Life: from Spain
Species of Choice: When I looked this up, it came up as "Pescado al Ajillo", in which "pescado" just means fish, so really, you can use any fish or shellfish or even chicken if you want. Animal Crossing uses anchovies, which are a very strong-smelling, oily fish. Most people aren't into that, but there are also people who will slap them on a pizza, so that's on you.
Other Ingredients:
Garlic cloves (crushed) Your favorite peppers - super spicy is welcome White Onion Salt & Pepper & Parsley Butter Extra virgin olive oil Cooking Sherry or White Wine
Recipe + serve with Spanish rice and salad.
The name of this dish is literally "anchovies of the garlic" better said as "garlic anchovies". Al ajillo has its origins in Spain as a spicy garlic sauce condiment, and it's spread throughout the Spanish-speaking world to become a variety of takes on it. If you're going to cook this, then the primary tastes you're going for is garlic and spice. How much spice is up to you. I'm personally not the biggest fan of spice that lingers, so I steer clear of hot peppers. If you like them, add them to this dish!
Now, kind of ignoring the "seafood" version ACNH introduced, the choice of featuring the Anchovy in this dish is actually pretty interesting to me. Anchovies comprise a very large, but also volatile, fishery in Peru. Let me explain.
The Peruvian Anchovy fishery is unimaginably huge - it is the largest single-species fishery in the world and makes up 10% of all capture fisheries in the world. Step back and think about that for a moment. Of all fish captured globally - for any reason, not necessarily to feed people; every single bass, mackerel, tuna, salmon, you name it - this one industry catches 10% of all fish. We're talking 12 million metric tons of anchovies at a peak. We, as human beings, cannot fathom how many individual fish that is. However, only a small portion of that is used to feed people, and it's not for a lack of trying.
Tumblr media
Like I said above, Anchovy has a very distinct, strong flavor of fish and oil, which most people (statistically!) just don't want to eat. Therefore, the fishery makes most of its money selling their anchovies to industries that will turn them into fish oil pills and fishmeal to feed aqua-cultured fish and other livestock. For the most part, the Peruvian Anchovy is considered a healthy stock, despite the insane number of fish removed from the population every year and some illegal fishing. However, sometimes it crashes due to the climate. Get ready for some legit oceanography.
Have you ever heard of El Niño? If you live around the Eastern Pacific, you're bound to have heard of it. El Niño is the name given to the warm phase of the El Niño Southern Oscillation, or ENSO, and it affects weather all over the Pacific Ocean - not just South America, but also Australia and Western North America. Normally, we know the Eastern Pacific (the western coasts of North and South America) to be dry. This is because warm, humid trade winds blow from the eastern Pacific to the western Pacific (where tropical rainforests grow in Oceania). This air current works like a conveyor belt pushing surface water of the Eastern Pacific west, which draws up cold, nutrient-rich water from depth. It's this process that literally feeds the anchovies. With all of those nutrients in the water, phytoplankton bloom, raising populations of zooplankton, the anchovy's main food source. However! During the El Niño phase, this process stops, stopping the conveyor belt, which in turn leaves the Eastern Pacific rainier, humid, and warmer (which is weird af for a desert and has all sorts of dangerous consequences, like landslides). This is bad news for the anchovies (and all of the animals that depend on them!), whose populations tank suddenly, leaving the Peruvian Anchovy fishery completely fucked. This happens about every 3 to 7 years and it has to do with air gradients and air pressure changing gradually.
Now, the big question is: will El Niño get worse with climate change? As far as I can tell, the jury is still out. However, the El Niño events are a great example of how reliant life on Earth is to climate. Drastic changes over short periods of time throw a balanced ecosystem into chaos.
And there you have it. Bon appetite!

hellraiser. chainsaw massacre. the shining.
hellraiser: do u have any tattoos/piercings? do u want any?
I only have my ears pierced once but I want one of them pierced like two times more and I really want a couple of tattoos! The only constant ideas are "you can't put your arms around a memory" (Johnny Thunders hoe for life <3) on my arm and a bass clef and treble clef that form a heart, the other tattoos will probably just be spontaneous
the texas chainsaw massacre: what’s ur favorite food?
I have no idea, I eat what I eat. Pasta? Gnocchi? Köttbullar? Fish? Soup? I just don't like sausage but other than that, I'll eat whatever you give me
the shining: do u prefer warm weather or cold weather?
A little bit of both but I like the colder side more because I'd rather put on another layer of clothing when I'm freezing than skin myself when I'm sweating

Hi Tings!
I have some questions for you inspired by the Office Ladies podcast—
What was your first job?
What languages do you speak?
What is a place you have been to that you love?
What is your favorite midnight snack?
Hi Kat!! 💖🥰
I’m so glad to see your ask after I totally ignored the last two for so long that it felt awkward to answer them when I finally got around to looking at my inbox 😅 It wasn’t on purpose, I promise, I’m just a mess 💕
I could be really cool and say my first job was playing bass in a little coffee shop band and averaging about $5 in tips each gig, but there were no tax forms involved 😂 my REAL first job was making sandwiches at Firehouse Subs. It was a great first job, and the closing manager I usually worked with was super cool, so after the big bosses left I’d usually just get MEGA stoned on my break and come back to eat my free sandwich and watch hockey on the TV while we waited on the errant customer to trickle in.
Sadly, I only speak English. I took two years of Spanish in high school and two semesters of it in college and retained next to nothing 😅 I could probably string together something that half makes sense in an emergency situation, but that’s about it.
Very topically, my family has made a habit of visiting Jackson Hole, Wyoming every 4 years or so, and I’ve been twice and absolutely loved it. We go in the late summer time because my family is big into fly fishing, and the weather always amazes me. It’s perfectly warm during the day and super chilly at night. The scenery is UNREAL. I grew up in Appalachia where our mountains are more like rolling hills, so the extremely jagged, HUGE, snow-capped mountains out there always blow my mind. And of course Yellowstone is just the coolest shit— all the sulfur springs and buffalo herds and moose are just neat as hell to see. I like the little town of Jackson too, which is nearly identical to what you see in TLOU, but everything is hella overpriced there 😅
My favorite midnight snack varies whether I’m in the mood for salty or sweet. If we’re talking salty— Goldfish, always. Every few months I re-up on my giant gallon carton of Goldfish like fiend lol. If we’re talking sweet— classic Oreos with a glass of milk WITH ICE. The ice is very important. I know ice in milk is controversial but the jingle says “ice cold milk” for a reason and I’ll die on that hill.
Thank you for these fun questions!! 🫶🏻💖
