Raspberry Pink was everywhere this season. I found this thrifted Marc Jacobs top in my size and it looked luxe after a good laundering. It's no wonder I was cold in these flimsy layers of chiffon silk. Experiments with ink, coloured pencil and bleach ( don’t worry I’m not throwing the beach down the sink, I’m keeping it in a jar with a lid to keep using it in my experiments). I don’t think bleach will do wonders for archival purposes but it’s ok as these experiments are for sketchbook purposes and Vince scanned and worked digitally they make great illustration material , there’s something evocative about this and wiry a free and loose line work I didn’t use brushes , all done with sticks, feathers and bits and bobs then added the pencil but always in a very loose way. It also reminds me of a autumn/winter weekend scene.
