FINDING BALANCE... 🎨 Whilst on my Christmas break I like to take time to find my happy place and create a sense of balance in my life. Like I am recharging myself for the year ahead. This year I've been making time each day to draw a picture... because I use to draw all the time... but life gets in the way and when it does art is the first thing that I let go of. Yet ironically (besides cooking) art is one of the very things that brings me complete joy (and I'm not comparing this joy to my family/kids - rather the joy in me through personal satisfaction). The feeling I get when I'm lost in a painting or picture I cannot describe #completebliss So my intention for the year is to make sure I keep coming back to my happy place... even if it is only once a week or month (it may not be once a day) the feeling I have right now i lost in 2016, and I don't want to let it go again. So in 2017 I will take time for me every so often... to allow myself this joy. I'll adjust my routine and make an effort for me... because only when I am happy and balanced can I be a the best mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. Xx

Last night my boyfriend and I went and saw Motion City Soundtrack in Cleveland. It was our first concert we ever went to together as a couple and it was a great time. After the show ended, we were too exhausted to walk up the stairs to the parking garage, so we took the elevator. I looked at him and casually asked if he's ever made out in an elevator before. He responded no, and pushed me up against the wall and we started kissing like we never kissed before. We kept pushing buttons so it would continue to go up and down so we had more time to make out. After a few minutes we came to a halting stop. People had shot us a few dirty glances because I think they were waiting to try and get inside the elevator. We tried so hard not to laugh the whole time they were in there with us. I don't think I've ever loved anyone this hard before.
