Living a successful Christian life is more than prayer and fasting. It encompasses every aspect of the believer's walk with God.

A conscious, deliberate and dynamic walk with God is non-negotiable in the Christian walk.

Most believers are destitute of a real and living relationship with God.

They pray and follow God ritualistically, yet feel empty inside.

God is interested in a day by day walk or relationship with you. He wants you as close to Him (relationally) as possible.

He is a real Being with a real personality. You need to learn how to connect to God with your whole being.

Put yourself in a position where your entire being (spirit, soul and body) can feel and respond to the touch and breath of God.

Learn to reach out to God with your emotions.

I've heard some preachers teach that God is not emotional. I don't agree with that. Throughout scriptures, we see God expressing different emotions at different occasions.

Give weight and power to your words or prayer by stirring up the right emotions within you.

Any relationship that is not heart-rooted is not real.

Let your relationship with God be borne out of heart-connection with Him.

Let your time of fellowship be filled with emotions. Make it a great time with God.

God is looking for lovers, not just servants. One of the Hebrew words translated as 'worship' in the Old Testament actually refers to sexual intercourse between couples.

God has emotional needs which yearn for satisfaction. As a child of God, realize that you have been called in Christ to satisfy this need of God.
