Walking in the Light
If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie and don’t tell the truth. But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

(via Blessed Day with a Friend and Scripture)
Just wanted to share about my awesome day yesterday hanging out with a friend. We spent some quality time together, chatting about life and diving into Scripture. I've not had that kind of fellowship, and let me tell you, it was refreshing!
"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up." - Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

1 Corinthians: That There Be No Divisions Among You (VIII)
Unity Through Subtraction (5:1-13)
Neal Pollard
As Paul works his way through some of the challenges and issues the Corinth congregation was dealing with, he turns his attention to an awful situation. As he says, “It is actually reported that there is immorality among you, and immorality of such a kind as does not exist even among the Gentiles, that someone has his father’s wife” (1). This was…

I’m not deaf to the vibrant Country music chatter. Got opinions, but on social media, I made a vow: don’t discuss the current thing. Yet, the discourse reminded of something.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
~ Psalm 27:17/NIV
I have always been fascinated by the architectural design of old churches. When seeing one, I stop in my tracks and stare with fascination! The woodworking, stone carved implements, and creative use of building materials send a message to the person gazing at the beauty! I am routinely amazed by the artistic mastery of…

Jesus Appeared....Emmaus Road
I have been silent this last week since Easter, as I was working with my Sister and trying to heal my back. I want to remember Easter and dive into the post resurrection appearances as we journey towards Ascension day and then Pentecost 10 days later.
As we celebrated on Easter morning, Jesus did not stay in the tomb but rose from the dead. After his resurrection, he appeared many times to…

(via Saturday Blessings with A Day of Faith and Fellowship)
What an amazing Saturday! My wife and I had an absolute blast spending time with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Our journey to see the show “Daniel” at Sight & Sound was nothing short of fantastic.
