Getting off Tumblr for about 6 or maybe 7 years now was genuinely the best thing I did

Before I left this place was an absolute cesspit, now things seem a lot calmer (at least on my following list)

i was one step removed from the computerworm friend group and that had to be the most consistent source of serious and completely ridiculous drama all being held in the same level of importance. they ran a regular cringe blogger off the site for accidentally typing a slur when trying to type "like". while in the same breath exposing someone else of actual animal sexual assault with the most comprehensive receipts i've ever seen.

It was wide-spread and the damage potential was immense but luckily, nothing ever came of it.
