I love that Chris Eubanks Jr and Conor Benn paid homage to their fathers’ first fight by wearing comparable trunks in their epic clash last night in London.

Conor Benn Goes all 10 rounds Against Rodolfo Orozco in Return to the Ring
ORLANDO, FL - At the Caribe Royale Orlando in Orlando, FL, the long-awaited return of former welterweight contender Conor Benn (22-0, 14 KOS) took place in a scheduled 10-round junior middleweight contest.
The Essex, UK fighter’s opponent, was the younger and taller Rodolfo Orozco (32-4-3, 24 KOs) out of Mexico, fighting for the first time outside his native country.
Orozco provided Benn with a stern challenge, never letting up on his opponent, keeping him busy through all 10 rounds. Benn was able to land the more brutal and cleaner punches on his opponent, but only a handful of times did Orozco look hurt. Whenever Benn connected with any blow, Orozco was right back in front of him to return fire.
In the ninth and tenth rounds, Benn’s punches finally affected Orozco, easing his intensity in firing back. Benn would land some highlight reel pot shots on Orozco. But nothing he did was enough to put down his Mexican opponent, who looked determined to go the distance and not fall.
It would prove to be an exhaustive but necessary fight for Benn as it would only serve to help him in the long run. The UK fighter hasn’t gone 10 rounds in two years since he faced Adrian Granados in September 2021.
Benn would be awarded the unanimous decision victory. All three judges had the bout in his favor with two scores of 99-91, and one judge saw a closer bout than most with a score of 96-94.
Benn has been out of the ring since April 2022, when he stopped Chris van Heerden in two rounds. He was scheduled to take on Chris Eubank Jr. in what would have been a modern version of the classic all-British battles between their fathers in the 1990s. However, Benn twice tested positive for the banned substance, Clomiphene.
Although seemingly suspended and unable to fight in the United Kingdom, Benn was able to secure a license in the state of Florida from the Florida Athletic Commission after he was removed from the national suspension list by the Association of Boxing Commissions.
After submitting negative drug tests and being out of the ring for 17 months, he was granted a license in Florida.
The question now surrounding Benn will be what he does next. Can he stay active in the United States, specifically in Florida? Will he remain at junior middleweight or move back down to welterweight? Wherever Benn goes, controversy will follow until the situation with the British Board of Control is over.

Jaron "Boots" Ennis takes another decision win over Karen Chukhadzhian in a much better, messier fight.
Yeah, not a FOTY contender but Chukhadzhian stood his ground this fight and it paid off in big ways. He had a ton of success, especially in the pocket. He's got some really good timing and entries from middle range that he was able to use to catch Boots straight up and down. Nice jab. Pivoted super well up close, using it to score body punches and escape when Boots got too close. But the size, fire power, and tenacity of Boots proved too much.
When Boots decided he was just going to go ham, he had lots of success. Did a good job of adjusting to Chukhadzhian's pivots and step arounds by just grabbing him. Managed to really hurt Chukhadzhian in the 5th and drop him. Just found big moments throughout the fight, even in rounds where Chukhadzhian had success.
I think we can stop the talk of a fight with Crawford and Boots being P4P guy at the moment. The skill set just isn't there. He reminds me a lot of young Hurd/Lubin, relying on his size and power to carry him through exchanges. Also he crowds some of his offense in the pocket.
Conor Benn, Brian Norman Jr, Jin Sasaki. I don't know. All fine next fights with Boots.

CONOR BENN RETURNS: COMEBACK CONFIRMED FOR THIS SATURDAY AGAINST RODOLFO OROZCO
The fight, at 154lbs, takes place on the Hitchins-Zepeda undercard in Orlando, Florida – live worldwide on DAZN
Conor Benn will return to the ring this Saturday in Orlando, Florida – live worldwide on DAZN. Over a year since his last fight, the British fighter (21-0, 14 KOs) will officially resume his career when he faces Mexican Super-Welterweight Rodolfo ‘Sinaloita’ Orozco (32-3-3, 24 KOs) at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida as the co-main event on Saturday, September 23.
TICKETS FOR ORLANDO ARE ON SALE NOW AT TICKETMASTER.COM
Orozco is a seasoned campaigner despite his youthful age of 24, having made his professional debut at just 16. Standing at 6ft 1in, hard-hitting Orozco has 24 knockouts on his resumé and won his last two fights with successive stoppages, including a fourth-round victory in Mexico City in June over compatriot Eilan Treja Juarez. But in Benn, Orozco faces a significant step up, with the Brit determined to put on an impressive performance to make up for lost time. Benn was provisionally suspended back in April, effective as of March 15, when his fight with Chris Eubank Jr last October was postponed. ’The Destroyer,’ however, was subsequently cleared in July by UKAD and the WBC, and his provisional suspension was lifted after an independent National Anti-Doping Panel review. Matchroom Sport chairman Eddie Hearn said: "Conor Benn is back and I’m looking forward to seeing him pick up where he left off. He’s ready to go straight in for a big fight now but his trainer Tony Sims will be pleased to get him back sooner against a game opponent in Rodolfo Orozco. Conor is looking unbelievable in the gym and I cannot wait to see him back in the ring where he belongs on what is a fantastic fight card in Florida.” Conor Benn said: “I am undefeated in the ring, and in spirit. A return on Saturday is a step closer to redemption. After that, I’m putting the 147-160 divisions on notice. You are looking at a determined man with a deep desire to beat them all." Rodolfo Orozco said: "I want to thank Matchroom and BXSTRS for this opportunity. This is exactly what I’ve been waiting for. This isn’t short notice for me because I’ve been preparing for this moment my entire life. You’ve made a mistake Conor, and I’ll show you that this Saturday." In Saturday’s main event, Brooklyn's unbeaten Super-Lightweight sensation Richardson Hitchins (16-0, 7 KOs) and former World title challenger Jose Zepeda (37-3-0, 28 KOs) collide for the WBC Silver, WBO NABO, and IBF North American Super-Lightweight titles. Benn’s fellow Brit, Sandy Ryan (6-1-0, 2 KOs), will bid to become the unified World Welterweight champion when she meets Chicago's Jessica McCaskill (12-3 5 KOs) for the WBO, WBC, WBA, IBO, and Ring Magazine belts. Elsewhere, Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams (14-0, 10 KOs) and Steve Rolls (22-2-0, 12 KOs) go head-to-head with the WBA International and IBF North American Middleweight hardware on the line. Khalil 'Big Steppa’ Coe (6-0-1, 4 KOs) fights fellow American Light-Heavyweight Kenmon Evans (10-1-1, 3 KOs) and the undefeated Cuban Super-Lightweight Orestes Velazquez (7-0, 6 KOs) squares off with Canada's Mohamed ‘The Black Buffalo’ Soumaoro (13-1-0, 6 KOs). Super-Welterweight Jeovanny Estella (12-0 3 KOs) and Super-Flyweight Jasmine Artega (10-0-1 5 KOs) tasting action over eight rounds while Bantamweight Roberto Rivera Gomez (3-0 2 KOs) kicks the whole night off over four rounds, with all three fighters to be matched imminently.
