I got a class photo done today because its our graduating class's last day of lectures and I was thinking about how weird my face looked and the I realised that literally everyone in the photo looks really weird 😭

I don't know anything about photography but the internet says that the blue hour (which is right after the golden hour?) is the opposite of the golden hour. Don't know if that helps

i dont think i have an absolute favorite but a few that i really like in no particular order:

1. okenia rosacea

absolutely gorgeous little guy!!!

2. dermatobranchus ornatus

arminids are awesome but i also love that it looks like lichen (conposite organism i love youuuuuu)

I have an idea. Anyone who likes this ideas, or concepts is free to take it.

An adaptation of Cassandra's tale. The story starts with Cassandra growing up in Troy, in a loving family. The colour palet is full of vibrent friendly, happy colours. Then Apollo curses her. The colour palet changes. It's still vibrent but less, it's still friendly but less happy. Paris arrives, then soon kidnappes Helen. Cassandra trys to warn people, and trying to get Paris to let Helen go. The colour palet changes agein. The colours get less vibrent, and less happy and friendly. And emptyness starts to creep into the the colour palet, conpositions, and music. Then the war starts. As the war goas on the colour palet changes. It's becomes less and less vibrent, happiness, and friendliness completly fades from them. When the wooden horse is left infront of the city the colour palet is dull and dark, sad, and scary colours dominate. Fear, and emptyness dominates the colour palet, conpositions, and music. All of this become worse as ageinst Cassandra's pleas the wooden horse is taken in. Cassandra starts to mourn, as she accepts the city's, her friends', her family's, and her own faith. We see her walking around the city. Saying one last goodbye to the city. She goas to her friends. She gives them the last hug. Then she goas back home to her family. Her she starts to cry. She gives the last hug to her father. The last smile, and hug to her mother. The last hugs to her brothers (if we assume Paris is still alive), and sister in law. And the veary last time she holds her newtue. Then she goas to her room, where she has a mental breakdown. Sudenly vibrent red is introduced to the colour palet. Then Agamemnon takes her. After Troy got distroyd the colours fade from the colour palet. The only colours that are there are black and white. Sadness, and emptyness reeks from the conpositions, and music. When she meets Clytemnestra, the colour palet changes. A veary vibrent red is added to next to the black, and white, as Cassandra sees the future agein. Electra trys to help her, or to make her feel batter. After Clytemnestra killed Agamemnon, we see Cassandra trying to hide, whaile prying, and memories are hunting her about what happand to her home, friends, and family. Then when the pryar ends she sits in a hiding place. For a minute she sees Thanatos. Then sudenly She starts to sing a lulaby her mother song to her. Whaile single it she leaves the hiding spot behind. She accepted her fate. As Clytemnestra raises the ax Cassandra sings, and closes her eyes. And as she finishes the last note, Clytemnestra killes her.

It eather ebds her. Or she finds herself in the Underworld, infront of Hades, or Persephone, or both. Then she closes her eyes, and when she opens them, she finds herself back in Troy. The colour palet is same as the begining. She walks around the city. Everything is as if the war never happand. The meets her friends who are alive. Then she tearfully reunites with her family. It ends with a close up of Cassandra smiling whaile crying in happiness. Then it ends with the question for the audienc. Is this the Underworld, or Persephone, or Hades, or both feelt sorry, or pity for her, and with the help of Hypnos they created a dream for her where she can be home, and with her friends, and family agein (so she is sleeping somewhere in the Underworld).

So. How doas it sound?

I think we got a concrete proof of this behavior from snow thanks to anaban44's post

I don't think its wrong to be defenvive over unwanted criticism but it depends on the context, exhample if someone told snow "I dont like your art because your anatomy/color/ conposition isn't something i like" I would understend snow ingnoring a person like that cuase who asked them, right? But if the critic is more along the lines of "I think you are depictinging so and so in a way that seems fetished/romanticized" it should not be brushed asided, espetialy when more then one(1) person express that concern over the duration of multiple years! I am not telling snow to stop drawing or to stop depicting abuse/disabilitys and general darker themes, no, I just want her to take responsability for her actions

Something that's been on my mind...

During this whole sn0w situation, and as I've been looking through screenshots and blogs and responses, I kept noticing how whenever someone makes a critic or raises a concern with sn0w, she kind of... passive aggressively brushes it off or uses the "well if you think that, there's something wrong with you, not me" response. I can't explain why, but something about that hasn't been sitting right with me. I didn't know how to bring it up, so I didn't really say anything until now.

I noticed this especially with the weird drawing of 6118 struggling with eating and 049 acting aroused over it, specifically the caption with the drawing. The caption said, "I realized in hindsight that this could be interpreted as sexual". Then why are you surprised and getting upset people are interpreting it sexual/uncomfortable if you acknowledged it could be seen that way? That doesn't make sense. I understand that when it comes to criticism, not all of it is going to be good, but to brush it off or turn it around on the person and say there's something wrong with them is not a proper way to handle it. In laymen's terms it's just... kinda mean and makes it look like you can't handle criticism.

Like I said, it's something I notices with a lot of her responses to the people raising concerns, and I didn't know how to put it into words myself until now.
