overall i don't think gaster interacted very directly with spamton at all, at least not in the way a character "not cut" from the game would. he had to use an alias as his "true name" crashes the game. he had to communicate by phone. he's an old forum post you find buried in the recesses of the internet or a playground rumor that originates from "my mom's aunt's second-cousin who works at nintendo". he's a way for you to try and "break the game" so you can have as much of the lightners' attention as everyone else and quickly attain all the perks thereof. he's a sequence of steps listed on gamefaqs you need to complete in order to get into a hidden basement room that has a super-powerful super-secret item inside. he's a cut character you can hear a few lines of dialogue from if you make the right call, "pieces" of him still lingering in the form of unfinished events that cut off abruptly before they end and rooms that only appear if you know what tricks to try. he — and anything in the game he might "break" — are both an anomaly within the game and limited by the constraints of it.

If it was N's team driving it, I'd say VRW (who did the motorcycle stunt) would be more likely than CAA but tbf, it didn't do much to distract from her harsh criticism of JKR/ HP; it was attention getting, not neutralizing. She gave JD visibility in a Trans coming out series, let the cast post her donation link to the Trans charity, and then posted a news reel about Trans rights herself.

As I stated, I lean toward personal obligations being at play... or it could have been an (ill-conceived) attempt at a bit of both.

Fia fia fia. I promise I'm not trying to be a hater. How on earth would bringing JD to an event take the political heat off of her? Why would she need the heat off? CAA is a Hollywood agency with mucho liberal clients. Nicola's stance supports the Hollywood agenda. The heat was from parading JD around like her boyfriend and making him suppress his gay identity, and she did it again so the heat was flamed not doused.

Hi, Anon. There doesn't seem to be a direct link btwn CAA and the HP series, so Idk that CAA had skin in the game. I agree it did little to cool the JD heat so it wouldn't be the best strategy to neutralize a situation.

I was wondering about what was said about camille rowe when she was dating harry styles. She reportedly made fun of the LGBTQ+ community by marrying a female friend Djuna Bel in Los Vegas in 2015 (the year same-sex marriages were legalized in US). Mocked Asian eyes in a photo & also made fun of bad translation from chinese to english. [cont'd]

- [contd] Dressed up as pregnant Sharon Tate for Halloween & was seen reading a book about charles manson. In a french interview she said she would love to meet Roman Polanski (a paedophile & rapist). From this harry's fans have come to the conclusion she is racist, homophobic & a manson lover! 🤷

Counterintuitively, it's better to hash passwords server-side. Hashing the user's password client-side is basically just turning their hash into their effective password; snooping on the HTTP connection still gives you the exact login credentials you need. The advantage that server-side hashing gives you is that someone who snoops your database doesn't actually get any actual login credentials out of it, so can't silently log in as any user (without rainbow tables, etc.)

(cont'd) So while it's true that client-side hashing would at least prevent the plaintext password from being leaked in the HTTP connection, to prevent password-reuse vulnerabilities on other websites... you can accomplish that same goal, and simultaneously avoid snoopers from seeing the credentials to your website, by just using HTTPS. So client-side hashing is sort of unnecessary at that point. You can still do it if you don't trust HTTPS but it's of very marginal benefit.

Thanks, I haven't really done any security features where I've needed to know this, but it's good to know exactly, I probably would have defaulted to hashing on both sides if I came upon it and didn't want to think too hard

Evan, the FAQs for intl students are impressive. I am a former intl student who stayed in the US and became a US tax lawyer... There are several mistakes in the descriptions of the tax obligations. I would respectively suggest that, instead of describing the complex U.S. tax rules, you link to two helpful guides from the IRS: ... cont'd on next posting...

In addition, I would recommend making the following general statements: (i) As a foreign student, you are most likely "a nonresident alien" and should file an IRS Form 1040NR (not the standard Form 1040, (ii) scholarship are taxable only if and to the extent that they exceed tuitions, fees and required expenses (such as required books and supplies) and  (iii) a tax treaty between the U.S. and your home country could exempt all your income from U.S. taxes (check IRS Pub 4011), and (iv) it is easier and preferable (for many reason) to apply for a SSN than to apply for an ITIN.

Did you use Glacier during your time here? I would just note that a lot of what you say is processed automatically by the computer. Glacier knows your NR status, because it asks you in detail how long you’ve spent in the US (to establish if you’ve reached the threshold to be considered resident for tax purposes). It also asks you your country of tax residence and accounts for the treaty issue (my country doesn’t have a tax treaty with the US, but I know someone whose does). It automatically chooses and prints the correct forms for you. So a lot of this additional information might confuse the reader, when the purpose of the FAQ is to clarify (IRS documents do not have the reputation of being readable). I will update the tax obligation section to reflect that it is only for people whose scholarships exceed tuition etc. Plus the SSN question - am I wrong that you can’t apply for one without a job? A lot of internationals don’t have jobs and don’t want them, so I feel like forcing someone to get a job just for an SSN isn’t a good idea. If you’re still reading, could you resubmit?

Edit: internationals, I updated the FAQ to reflect these recommendations. I also changed some details about the deductible for prescription drugs on the SHP. In future, all edits from the previous version will be logged at the top of the FAQ.
