things  had  moved  rather  quickly  between  kieran  and  joshua .  she  wasn’t  complaining  about  it  either .  there  had  been  something  about  josh  from  day  one  that  told  kieran  that  this  wasn’t  going  to  be  a  one  and  done  kinda  thing  and  while  she  was  more  than  happy  with  joshua ,  she  knew  that  this  news  could  change  things .  it  may  have  been  serious  between  the  two  of  them  but ,  she  still  found  herself  nervous  to  have  this  conversation .

A lot had changed in their time apart , but knowing that the touch remained the same was a good reminder of the constant that the pair had in each other's lives . As Joshua's hand falls away , leaving the ghostly [ [ s e n s a t i o n ] ] on his shoulder , Noctis' eyes drift towards the flickering fire in front of them .

It was nice . . . A steady stream of warmth that [ [ s u r r o u n d e d ] ] them nearly like a blanket .

Noctis replied softly as he leaned back in his chair .
