turnabout teleportation: ace attorney investigations 2 case turned stage play?????

how come im only just now hearing about this!!!! what!!!!

apparently there was a case from the 2nd investigations game that was cut because they were worried the story was going to be too long and they decided to turn said case into a two hour long stage play.

and its fucking perfect

the fucking INCREDIBLE way miles and the other characters are introduced via ✨logic chess✨. the way some of the best music from the games shows up throughout the show at the best times. the way the costumes seem like they were ripped right out of the game itself. the way they have super epic dance breaks between scene changes. the way the HOW MUUUUCH guy moves with the case during a said dance break. the way gummy gives his coat to kay.

i could go on and on and on about this. GO WATCH IT RIGHT NOW. you will not be disappointed.

i was a lil sad ray and lang didnt have a role but theres the spirit of lang with 'reminiscence ~ the fall of the house of lang' making an appearance :DD

I really liked the parts in Wicked where you could tell the ensemble was doing some really cool footwork but you don't get to see any of it cause it was all shot from the waist up

#it happened like 5 times alone in one sequence #and after about the third time I was trying not to laugh #like show me their feet!! Most of this chapter is dedicated to Oars and Moriah getting the shit kicked out of them in a very satisfying way, but this moment in particular reminds me of Arlong Park when Luffy said he couldn’t use a sword.

For as strong as Luffy is right now, and all the skills he has because of the extra shadows…he still isn’t able to beat Oars and Moriah by himself. It takes the whole crew working together.

OH WAIT TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE HELLO!!

First one was the lie! rapiers are beautifully elegant, but i prefer something a little sturdier!! i love the shape of cutlasses :)

Second was a truth! i love Od.ore Orch.estra!! specifically, this version from pro.ject sekai (my favorite group covers it!), but the original is also stellar :3!! its literally such a fun song, it brings me a lot of joy <3

Third was a truth! vanilla is in fact my favorite scent!! despite it being my sona's symbol, lavender is not a scent i have a strong connection to, i just think their calming symbolism is sweet and i use the flowers to represent my sona <33 but i do bake often, and the smell of vanilla is so warm and comforting to me. cinnamon is a close second place!!

started watching xena: warrior princess with my partner and holy shit its one of the best things ive ever seen. i never immediately like things but wow. shes so FUCKING COOL

It was a mistake to try figuring out why people are so hesitant about the new star wars show.

The dudebros are reactionary, and only know how to repeat like, one joke based off of the beginning quotes of the trailer, ad infinitum.
