Zeek stood there for a moment after Corinne headed into the kitchen, feeling something strange in the pit of his stomach.
Why did it take him so long to realize it?
As the sun rose, signaling the start of a new day, Zeek realized he'd fallen in love.
What was he gonna do now? Did she feel the same? Was this going to completely change their vibe?

keep in mind this is my bella swan sim, it's a jacob/bella wedding, and i watched the tiktok below for inspo but also i love corinne's videos and she's the main reason i know anything about twilight in the first place.
i like the first one as it's the only cc dress i could find that was remotely similar to the one in the video. i like the shape of it and its got little lacey details on the cuffs. very pretty overall.
i like the second one for the colors, i love that it's still in the ball park of a wedding dress but i love that you could potentially link it to jacob. He's described as bella's personal sun and it's brought up through all the books.
also if you bring up any piece of twilight into my mentions talking about things to jacob's character that only exist because stephanie meyer's a racist bitch and only even made him a part of the "love triangle" was because of the editors. AND THEN SHE MADE JACOB AND BELLA 10000X BETTER THAN HER ENDGAME COUPLE plus if you bring up imprinting or that stupid little demon child ill block ur ass so fast imprinting is unstoppable and makes the wolf a slave to the person they imprint on i hope smeyer burns in hell

Since she was already awake and her stomach was growling pretty insistently, Corinne hopped out of bed to go and get a head start on the morning.
She was also nervous about the baby and how she would tell Zeek. They weren't exactly planning to raise two young kids in a tiny, two-bedroom trailer...
Speaking of, Zeek didn't have to work until one in the afternoon today, so she didn't bother waking him.
He could use his beauty sleep.

How Bowie recruited Blitz Kids for the Ashes to Ashes video
An entertaining oral history of how Bowie's Ashes to Ashes video came to be.
[Steve] Strange writes in his autobiography, Blitzed: “We had no prior warning, and [Bowie] arrived with two other people and his PA [Corinne] ‘Coco’ [Schwab], whom I didn’t think was very nice.” The guests whose names Strange forgot were, according to the Polaris diary, singer Karen O’Connor (daughter of comedian Des) and painter-photographer Edward Bell, who designed the cover artwork for the imminent Scary Monsters album and singles.
Strange’s book claims: “We managed to sneak them into the club the back way to avoid a fuss and usher him upstairs to a private area. David himself was charming and asked if I would join him upstairs for a drink when I had finished on the door. I wanted to go straight away, but, annoyingly, I had to do my job first and stay at the door.”
The book continues: “Word soon spread like wildfire that David Bowie was there. He was probably the reason most people at the club had got into pop music in the first place...
Tumblr media
Judith Frankland says: “In a wonderful twist of fate, Steve was resplendent in my black wedding outfit that night and was chosen straight away. He was asked to select people he felt could be right. Bowie did see George O’Dowd but as I remember he was wearing his big leather jacket look that night, so he was out. I was invited as was Darla up to the table where David and Coco were sitting and offered a glass of champagne. Darla and I were both dressed in a similar ecclesiastic style, Darla in her own black outfit with white collar, and we were also asked to take part for what at that time was a decent sum of money for penniless, decadent students.
“We were told Coco would call us the following day with the details. I woke the next day thinking I’d dreamt it and you know I guarded that communal pay phone on the landing like a rottweiler until she did: be outside the Hilton the next morning, Thursday, she said, at some ungodly hour, fully dressed and made up the same way I had been at the Blitz, and to get the coach to a secret location.
“When we arrived at the beach near Hastings [not Southend, as Strange reports], the crew was set up and David Bowie greeted us dressed in the pierrot outfit he would be wearing. He coached us for a few minutes on the words we were to mime and then the day was spent in what we Lancastrians call sinking sand, sloppy sand, and the further out we got on the beach the messier and sloppier and muddier it was. I wore flats which was a wise choice. Then we were up and down that field with the bulldozer and every time we had to do a take it had to back up and the field got muddier. The bulldozer wasn’t that close but if he’d stepped on the gas we would all have been gonners.
“We were finally told we had all ‘done well’ and set off in the coach straight from the shoot to Hell [Strange’s Thursday club-night with a sacrilegious flavour] – well, home first to get freshened up. Steve dropped off his very muddy wedding dress and Hell was a rowdier night than usual. Steve brought one of the labourers from the bulldozer site with him and dressed him up in a Modern Classics suit. The poor guy was disturbed by it all, to say the least.”

Rhys Dasior | Staff | 44 | Witch | Bottom
"Knot the tie and go to work. Unknot the tie and go to sleep. / I sleep. I dream. I make up things / that I would never say. I say them very quietly."
Born in mid-June, 1980 in Mayfair, London to Charlotte and Edward Dasior – High Priestess and Priest of the Mayfair Coven – Rhys was the only child of two emotionally vacant white mages and was introduced to white magic in place of their parental adoration from an exceedingly early age. The Dasior bloodline remains one of high prestige with a number of those within its lengthy lineage magically assisting a considerable number of London’s aristocracy and other high-ranking individuals however required over numerous centuries. The family never hid themselves from view as preternaturally-gifted, allowing their gifts to keep them comfortably situated within the upper echelons of London’s high society.
Edward worked long hours as an emergency medicine doctor at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, an institution recognised as one of the leading hospitals in the country due to its lowest operative mortality rates and one of the best-performing accident and emergency departments. Due, in part, to Edward’s work over the decades whilst Charlotte stood as the coven’s matriarch. Edward and Charlotte would set aside several hours each evening and every weekend (work schedules depending) to teach Rhys all they knew, keeping the young mage’s mind alert and trained to ensure an almost seamless transition into harnessing his abilities as he matured. The educational methods employed were draconian, archaic in design, and consequently forced the majority of Rhys’ tutelage to be a byproduct of traumatising force rather than gradual, gentle understanding. The moment he reached eighteen, Rhys fled willingly into the arms of university to escape the damaging home environment.
Returning to Mayfair following his graduation from university some few years later and moving in with his grandmother rather than the family home for the sake of his mental health, Rhys dedicated the vast majority of his time to the coven and strengthening his abilities thanks to his grandmother’s insistence that Rhys would be financially secure should he wish to take a break from academic commitments and focus instead on himself for a change. Corinne had been the coven’s matriarch prior to her abdication for over a century and a half prior to Charlotte’s premature ascension and, most importantly, she had been Rhys’ only true confidant and support system within the family. Due to Corinne’s involvement in offering aid and devastation on the front lines of the Second War on the side of the vampires, Corinne had grown tired of committing herself to others outside of the immediate family and had retired early following the conclusion of the war, settling back in Mayfair not too far from Rhys so that he had a place of solace to turn to when the home environment inevitably became unbearable.
Given his birthright within the coven’s hierarchy, Rhys spent the vast majority of his time as his mother’s understudy and eventually grew confident enough in his standing to lead meetings with his mother, overseeing rituals and exercising his purification magic to aid and assist others, calling for his abilities from every school of magic to strengthen through tending to the more inexperienced coven members.
One summer’s eve four or so years ago, Rhys found himself pouring over his family’s history as the weight of his bloodline’s prestige was pressing heavily upon his shoulders and his life was beginning to feel directionless outside of his birthright. It was within the wealth of various documentation and diaries that Rhys discovered Corinne’s involvement in the Second War, both on the battlegrounds and within the medical aid branches. When questioned by her grandson over breakfast the next morning, Corinne recounted the same information that had been passed down the lineage for the past century in extensive detail and thus awoke a curiosity in Rhys like never before. He knew at once that residing within London waiting to one day inherit the coven was no longer a viable option and began to make arrangements to depart for Krovs within the next month.
Rhys’ decision to leave caused a rift between the family for a short while. At first, his parents were aghast to learn that their only son would so quickly decide to abandon everything they had laid in place for him in such an ungrateful fashion. Having only just mastered the advanced levels of his abjuration magic at the tender age of twenty-six, his mother loathed the idea of Rhys not being quite as prepared as he needed to be for an area such as Krovs. Corinne silenced their protests and forewarned Rhys of the kind of power that dwelled in Krovs, the mastery far above his own in several schools he was not knowledgeable enough about yet; but it was only through her unwavering certainty that he needed to remain and educate himself further until she knew she could safely let him go that Rhys conceded. He dedicated the next thirteen years to studying and honing his innate abilities in abjuration, divination and transmutation.
On the night of his thirty-ninth birthday, approximately three months after the passing of Corinne, Rhys posted two letters for his parents explaining his departure with no set return date outlined, bid a final farewell to the night staff and promised them he’d keep in contact and left for Krovs. There was no exact plan in mind initially – he was willing to trust his intuition that this was indeed the right path for him to be on; everything else would fall into place once he was there.
Determined not to appear as a byproduct of naivete and nepotism, Rhys worked hard to prove to the Council that he would be an invaluable addition to the castle and the Council themselves, pledging his dedication to the role of Head of Magic Consultants. He wasted no time in showcasing the breadth of his knowledge and abilities to prove his worth, his entire being practically ablaze with devotion.
In the past three years, Rhys has repeatedly proven his worth and his dedication has never once faltered (aside from a brief disagreement with the council surrounding his relationship with Roland de Rochefort, but Rhys hardly considers that anywhere near as problematic as some members of the council do.) After a sudden beckoning back to Mayfair following a dramatic shift in the coven’s hierarchy given Charlotte’s declining abilities and general well-being despite magical alterations and intervention, Rhys now finds himself between Mayfair and Krovs — whilst the workload is bordering on unmanageable, Rhys has always found himself most at home amongst chaos. He’s now hoping it’s all as manageable as he keeps telling himself it is.
Schools of Magic: (white magic) Abjuration / Earth Magic (expert), Divination / Air Magic (advanced), Transmutation / Water Magic (advanced)
Positive Traits: Personable, empathetic, diligent, reliable, ambitious.
Negative Traits: Workaholic, perfectionist, self-destructive, stubborn, authoritarian.

3 turn-offs: Watersports, bathroom-related kink, feet.

The documentary addresses barriers to entry for female artists, LGBTQIA+ artists, artists of color, and was filmed in part during the Black Lives Matter protests.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring cast members Chris Watts (artist) and/or Gisella McDaniel (artist), executive producer George Wells, and Parrish Art Museum chief curator Corinne Erni. The panel will be moderated by Kelcey Edwards (Director, The Art of Making It and Assistant Professor, Radio/Television/Film).
