#plussizereenacting is not tricky at all. You're a person. Making garments made for persons. 😋 Personally, I don't think I'm brave. I'm just existing and enjoying myself like any individual. I'm over 200 pounds and sometimes I can look slimmer and sometimes it doesn't. ➡️ It depends on angles, shadows and of course the type of #corset /#stays I'm wearing and the amount of padding. And it's perfectly ok. 👌🏽 🤬 In the past days I was super complimented (thank you 🙏🏽 ) and bullied for an specific picture. I got it. It looks extreme and it might not be your cup of tea. But keep in mind that I'm not a PR team. I'm a person like you that was fighting a tumor, has lost family members and have some fighting cancer. Life is hard for everyone. And nobody is doing great.😭 💎 I don't share problems because this is my escapism like many others. 🤷🏽‍♀️ 😬😬 I'm not here trying to look thin. Nor to trick anyone. People did wear padding and that gives the illusion the waist is narrow. Also the construction of the garment helps and on top of that, this one was made it with contrasting bias which further increases the effect. 🤩 it's my vibe to show myself in a curvy silhouette. I ENJOY IT. Lol I guess I want to be a sexy twisted water balloon. 🤣🤣 but if you prefer to have a different silhouette by all means. Do it. RED is a color I'm afraid. 🚫 @dressing_miss_dashwood Is hosting #REENACTMENTrainbow and sadly I don't have much anything in red. Yet.⛔ Red is a color my mom doesn't wear and nor my grandmother used to... and frankly I noticed I barely wear it too. And there's a reason for that: objectification.☆ ⛔ Growing up I was allowed ONE red garment. For auspicious porpoises. And when I was 15 I was gifted my first "grown up" dress ( And I wore it until... 30? Lol) but every time I'd wear red people would compliment me ... sexually. Despite the style being cute or old fashioned the compliments are often um... direct. So last 2 years I took to myself to wear more red and stop letting the fear control me. With that I also took a step into making #JessicaRabbit cosplay again. I tried once in Brazil and I was too afraid to wear it outside. Wearing Jessica Rabbit is FRIGHTENING. People stare.
