"Thank the gods, you're alright... I thought I'd--we'd lost you." She'd drawn her close without thinking, her brow against hers, needing to feel she was really here. A few seconds later, oblivious to Roxanne's hands slowly reaching for hers, she would realise what she'd done in her impulse and back away immediately, clear her throat, apologise, and clumsily call it a 'cultural gesture'.

Eliza Valent & Roxanne Read - Original 2015 Concept Art (October 2015)

Here are the original 2015 #conceptart #characterdesign I drew for Eliza & Roxanne, 3 years ago in October for a uni class in first year, featuring my bad handwriting & sketchy lines :D ! It was also my first attempt at character concept art :) ! Eliza got more clothes options but Roxanne got more hairstyles back then :D There have been a few changes here and there since then, and more to come probably ^^ At the time I had no idea how much I'd come to draw them & write about them haha :P So aye, here are the original concepts for these two!

Apparently, July 6th is International Kissing Day, so here’s a ref’d sketchbook pen doodle from February of Eliza & Roxanne ^_^ ~ Very quickly added some digital colouring on top of it for fun, might do it as a proper illustration someday :P 

(I think the photo I used as a ref for the pose was from Tumblr? Can’t find it anymore :/)

Aye, the Elizanne couple on the Wind Rider, after all :p Drawn/Doodled after a particularly exhausting day, and half fell asleep a few times (also tried to zoom in on my paper). Not great, but it’s something! And it’s practice :3

Inktober 2017 - Day 28 - Fall

Tackle her, fall with her, avoid some arrows being shot your way ~

In the span of 4 days, Eliza has ended up slammed onto the deck of her ship 3 times by Roxanne; twice to avoid some deadly projectile, once because Roxanne tripped and fell. It would have been 4 times had Eliza not caught her balance when Roxanne collapsed on her, completely drunk :)

Inktober 2017 - Day 12 - Shattered

A shattered glass bottle next to a shattered sleeping captain & a shattered pirate challenging the boatswain to an arm-wrestle 💪~ ... Because Eliza is a bit sleep deprived, Roxanne challenges everyone especially when drunk and has a thing with arm wrestling people, and Ronan just watches over them like a big brother (while accepting Roxanne’s challenges) ~

Enjoying a juicy apple ~ Eliza really loves apples. Even after being poisoned through one. It takes more than a poisoned apple to get her to stop loving them. They also make for good projectiles and distractions when needed.
