You’ve done an aged up quirk story, could I request one one where the Heart Pirates get hit with the opposite, and suddenly reader and Law are frantically taking care baby everyone. And there’s something about seeing reader handling babies that stirs…something in Law.
Hiya!! I actually haven't done a story like that before so I think you have me confused for Coza who did do an aged up thing, but I hope I can do this justice for you! But also hey i made it a week on this blog before devolving into my law based brainrot also most of this is under a readmore bc it's LONG pulling in at about 2.4k
[!]: MINORS DNI. AGELESS AND MINORS WILL BE BLOCKED.
[Heads up!: devil fruit effects, fingering, reader is not gendered but there is usage of termed genitals(clit), unprotected sex, breeding kink, piv, i think i have my bases covered]
Tumblr media
All in all, you’re really not sure this situation can get worse.
But on second thought, you amend it ㅡ things can always get worse. And so, correction ㅡ things could get worse, but you’re desperately hoping that they won’t.
“[Name]?” You look down at the tiny redhead, his arms wound around your leg. “Can you hold me?”
“Of course.” You bend down as he reaches up, your hands hooking under his arms to lift the small boy into your arms, situating him against your hip. “Careful though, don’t wake Bepo.”
The mink, now reduced to a small cub, is fast asleep in the cloth you’ve tied around yourself as a makeshift carrier, his head resting against your shoulder. Approaching footsteps make your attention shift to the newcomer, your eyes locking with familiar gold. “Any luck?”
Law shakes his head. “I didn’t figure that he’d hang around long afterwards. Baㅡ” Your eyes narrow in warning and Law looks away, jaw clenching as he surveys the mess that’s been made of his crew. Besides you and himself, the rest of the crew’d been the unfortunate victims of a devil fruit effect that’d reverted them to children ㅡ and without their current, adult frame of mind.
“How long do you think this will last?” you ask, adjusting Shachi on your hip again, and Law’s eyes flick from the redhead to Bepo’s sleeping face, then to his own hands. Both are occupied by a set much smaller than his own, and Ikkaku looks up at him and beams as Clione stares at the ground, scuffing his shoe in the dirt.
What an odd scene this must appear to be ㅡ two adults and a group of children of varying sizes scattered nearby, tucked far enough into an alleyway that the casual passersby wouldn’t spot them.
“Not sure. If we’re lucky, it shouldn’t last much more than a couple of hours.”
“Well, nothing to be done but figure out how to look after them until it wears off.” You wiggle the fingers of your free hand in invitation, and Law watches as Uni darts over to latch onto it with both of his. “Should we take them back to the Polar Tang?”
“That’d probably be our best bet,” Law sighs, and Clione looks up at him with a frown.
“Are you mad at us?”
Law turns, lips parting ㅡ and you cut him off before he can speak, your tone gentle in a way he’s never heard. “Of course not. Nobody’s mad at any of you, okay? You’re not in trouble, I promise.”
Clione perks up at your words and you smile, pleased that you’ve been able to help cheer up your crewmate. Pushing down the stir of something odd in his chest, Law looks back up at you. “We should head back.”
You nod and adjust Shachi again, coaxing him to wrap skinny arms around your neck for support and still when Bepo squirms at the accidental knock of Shachi’s hand against his cheek, though the mink otherwise stays asleep.
You slip past Law and he watches as Hakugan, Penguin and Jean Bart hurry to follow you, sight uncannily similar to that of ducklings following their mother. Glancing down at Ikkaku and Clione, he heaves a soft sigh before he moves to follow you.
You make it half-way back through the little town before Ikkaku is tugging on his hand, and he glances down at her. “My feet hurt.” Cheeks puffed in a tiny pout, brown eyes bore into his own as she tugs on his hand for emphasis. “Carry me!”
“It’s not much further,” he tries, adjusting his tone so that it’s something closer to yours had been and when it doesn’t do anything beyond making Ikkaku pout further and stomp one of her feet, he gives in and lets go of Clione’s hand for a moment to pick Ikkaku up. The tiny girl makes a noise of delight, and he reaches for Clione’s hand again, little fingers curling around his.
He knows how strange the two of you must look with your entourage of children, and he finds himself wishing more now than ever that the effects of that devil fruit will wear off. You’re stuck here until it does, after all ㅡ the two of you can’t pilot the Polar Tang on your own, and he’s not certain about the effect of deep-sea submersion on children.
“You have a lovely family, my dear.” Law looks up to find you halted by an older woman who watches his crew cluster around your legs, Shachi tucking his face against your shoulder. As Law steps closer, her eyes flick to him. “This must be your husband.”
There it is again, the odd flicker from before ㅡ stronger now, even as warmth threatens to rise to his cheeks at being called your husband. Your own are already pink, though your smile stays polite.
“Thank-you,” you say, and the lady beams before she hurries off ㅡ apparently her only intent to compliment you and your supposed family. The Heart Pirates are your family, you've said that before and made it clear ㅡ but that woman's words are rattling around in Law's head with an entirely new kind of persistence.
He's never given what he'll do after all of this much thought. To keep himself grounded in reality and not let himself hope for too much, he's told himself he'll be fine with just making it out alive. But now?
"Law?" Your voice pulls him out of his thoughts to find you watching him, your expression somewhere between confusion and concern. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine," he says, "let's keep moving. The sooner we're back on the Polar Tang, the better."
Now, he thinks he might give it more thought. Something soft, vulnerable ㅡ a future with you, where he can be your husband. He's never even thought about marriage like that, but being called your husband ㅡ he could get used to that.
And a family.
That surprises him, the sudden want for it ㅡ or maybe it's always been there, pushed down and buried. He doesn't even know your own thoughts on it ㅡ what you want for the future. You've never talked about it in depth before ㅡ but he still hopes that whatever you want, he can be the one to give it to you.
"They're all finally asleep," you report quietly as you slip into Law's room, shutting the door with a sigh. "They'll be confused if they wake up like that and they're back to normal." You pause. "They are cute, though."
"Small price to pay," Law says, watching as you climb over his legs to settle on the bed beside him. "I just hope they don't remember this."
"Embarrassed that they might see you as anything but a grump?" You tease, grinning when he gives you a flat look. "I saw you holding Ikkaku earlier, it was cute." You reach, snuggling into his side. "I can see you as a dad to a little girl."
Law tenses. "About that," he starts, and you pull away to regard him curiously as his attention shifts to you, eyes locking with yours. "Have you thought about what you want when this is over?"
Your head tilts. "I mean not really," you admit, "but if I had to…I think I'd want us to settle down somewhere nice. I'd want a garden, so it'd have to be a place with good weather…" Law is staring at you, and you trail off. "What?"
"You said 'us'," he points out, and you snort, amused.
"Well yeah, dummy. You think I want that with anyone but you?" There's a small smile tugging at your lips, one that gives him the push to continue with his next question.
"And…would you want a family?"
"Well, you're my family," you say and his lips part to protest that he doesn't mean like that, but you're continuing before he can. "But like…our family? Between you and me? Yes, but…I would never push for something you didn't want too, Law." Your tone is soft but expression serious, no sign of teasing. "Kids or no kids, I want my future to be with you, whatever that means for us."
He wants to agree. Wants to tell you that he feels the same way, that it doesn't matter as long as he has you ㅡ but instead, he kisses you.
He can tell he's surprised you with the vehemence behind it, the seconds delay before you kiss him back. You let him push you onto your back, caging you beneath him.
"Law," you manage when he finally pulls away in favor of kissing your jawline, "Law, the kidsㅡ"
"They're not really kids," Law counters and you huff, finding it hard to focus with the pinch of his teeth, worrying strawberry pink blooms down your neck.
"They're right there," you still protest weakly, though you know you're already on the losing side of the argument. Law hums, pausing against the flutter of your pulse point, lips curving into a smirk.
"Then you'll just have to keep your voice down." Law is an absolute menace when he wants to be ㅡ something he's making clear at the moment.
You bite back a whimper when his lips press against your collarbone, the upward skim of one of his hands on your stomach earning a shiver from you and the arch of your back as he palms at your breast.
There's the brief pause as he works your shirt up and over your head, his own following before there's the warmth of his mouth on your skin again.
Lifting you a hand to cradle the back of Law's neck, you whine when he reaches up, tugging your hand away and pressing it down into the bed beside your head. "If you know what's good for you," he murmurs, "you'll keep your hands there."
It's a threat and a promise, one that makes heat pool between your legs, instinctive upward roll of your hips against earning you a groan against your skin as he grinds down against you.
The path that Law makes down your chest is gentle but intentional, the brush of fingers down your ribs as he lets his attention linger at the soft skin of your stomach. Your cheeks burn at the soft intimacy of it, the strategic handful kisses at your navel, down to the swell of your hip bone.
And then Law is moving back up, kissing you soundly as he pops the button of your pants, tugging the fabric of your underwear down with it and thumbing at the plush of your thighs as he skims his hands back up.
The sink of one long finger into you gets a choked gasp of his name, one that makes him smirk, watching your face contort with pleasure as he adds a second finger.
"This soaked and I've barely touched you," he murmurs, eyes gleaming at the crawl of darker red across your cheeks before your hips buck at the curl of his fingers. You've been intimate only a handful of times but he knows you like the back of his hand, drinking in every sound and face you make and committing them to memory.
He can feel the slick pulse of your walls around his fingers, clenching with every curl and press of his digits, a moan slipping from your lips when he scissors them. A hard crook of his fingers paired with the abrupt press of his thumb against your swollen clit is what does you in as you cum, clenching hard around his fingers as you soak his hand.
He gives you a moment to recover, watches your chest heave as he reaches to shed the last of his own clothing. His skin is warm against yours as he settles over you, hisses at the slick drag of your core against his throbbing length.
"Want you," you say, and Law's chest aches as he leans in to kiss you. This time he does it sweetly, intertwines one of your hands with his, the other slipping down to guide himself to your entrance before he sinks into you.
Your fingers squeeze his as Law's hips meet flush to yours, room quiet save for the sound of soft panting as you try to ground yourself. Law hisses as you clench around him, kissing the corner of your mouth before he pulls back enough to start moving.
It's not as rough as you'd been expecting with how suddenly he'd pounced on you, but there's a certain intensity to his thrusts that doesn't go unnoticed. Your gaze drifts over the flush to Law's cheeks, the fine layer of sweat at his forehead, the shock of dark hair you so often run your fingers through during late nights and early mornings. Times where he's wholly, selfishly yours, just as much as you are his.
Pleasure lances through your veins when he shifts his hips a little, nudges your legs apart a tiny bit further apart so that he sinks just a little deeper into you. The hand intertwined with yours slips free, fingers drumming down your ribs and in.
The barely there swell of your lower stomach is what catches Law's attention, magnetic as he spreads his fingers against it, pressing down slightly. It's not enough to hurt you, would never be that much ㅡ but the way your eyes roll makes it beyond worth it.
"Gonna give you a baby," he says, words tumbling from his lips unchecked, "give you everything you could ever want, so long as you're mine."
He pairs it with a rougher thrust, aware of how you're clenching around him, dangerously close to that precipice. "Say you're mine, [Name]. Wanna hear you say it."
"Yours," you gasp, voice pitching higher when he slips his hand down to rub at your clit, working it in tight circles. "I'm yours!"
Law cums first, presses as deep as he can and groans into your neck as he spills into you, setting off your own orgasm as you clench around him with a moan.
He all but collapses against you, breathing hard as you drag a hand up and down his back. Once he's caught his breath, he leans up enough for a soft kiss, one you return before you thread your fingers into his hair and tug him away from your mouth.
He expects a comment on what the two of you just did, or perhaps something about what he had said, the potential ramifications of your actions. But you don't. Instead you stare at him sweetly, a juxtaposition from the words that you say next.
"If the kids heard any of that," you warn, "you're dead to me."

Cardi B Says She’s Filing For Nigerian Citizenship
The recent assassination of Iranian general Qassem Suleimani, an order from President Donald Trump, has femcee Cardi B considering leaving the United States. Cardi took to Twitter to announce that she would be filing for her citizenship in Nigeria. While memes emerged about a possible WWIII, Cardi tweeted,
“Naaaaa these memes are fuckin [funny] but shit ain’t no joke ! Specially being from New York. Its sad this man is putting Americans live in danger. Dumbest move Trump did till date ...I’m filing for my Nigerian citizenship.”
Back in December,  Cardi traveled to both Nigeria and Ghana to perform at the Livespot X Festivals.
It’s unclear how serious her tweets can be taken, but Mrs. Abike Dabiri Erewa, NIDCOM chairman under the Presidency took to Twitter to enthusiastically encourage her to apply.
Cardi B then asked her followers what Kulture’s Nigerian name would be and fielded advice on how to convince Offset to relocate, too.

During her trip to Nigeria,  Cardi B visited an orphanage in Lagos, Nigeria and donated supplies including diapers, bottled water, and feminine products.

Rape allegation: Fatoyinbo may have won in court but his name is in ruins- Chidi Odinkalu.
Chidi Odinkalu, former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission NHRC, has said that the Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly COZA, Chidi Odinkalu, might have won in the rape case filed against him by Busola Dakolo at the Abuja High Court but his name is in ruins and he might never be able to clear the rape allegation leveled against him by Mrs Dakolo.
Chidi Odinkalu shared his opinion in a new artilce he wrote titled ''Busola Dakolo: In Praise of Soft Vengeance''. Read the full article below
At the end of June 2019, #MeToo became #ChurchToo in Nigeria.
Busola Dakolo, a mother of three who grew up a gifted child was the unlikely heroine in this script. She first laid bare her claims in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, lawyer and co-founder of the digital platform, YNaija. These claims later became the basis for her civil claim filed at the Abuja High Court on September 6, detailing harrowing allegations of rape perpetrated against her by Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, best known as the senior pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA). The acts took place on 23 and 26 September 2002.
To be clear, this was not the first time allegations of sexual predation had been made against this pastor. Mrs. Dakolo’s allegations, however, felt different. They were detailed; as a married mother, she had very little to gain from making these allegations public and an awful blowback was both predictable and to be expected from partisans and propagandists of the alleged perpetrator.
The first incident of sexual assault allegedly took place when she was 17 in her parents’ house in Ilorin, Kwara State. Neither parent was at home and the pastor knew this. She had never experienced sexual intimacy before then. She looked up to the pastor as her “Spiritual Father”. The facts would suggest that the alleged perpetrator probably groomed her for this moment. After the sexual act, he reportedly gave her a bottle of “Krest”, a lemonade-flavoured soda and forced her to drink it. There was a second incident which reportedly took place in or on a car. As a young Christian girl from a polygamous home, Busola Amupitan, as she was when these sexual assaults reportedly took place, initially was unable to confide in anyone about these crimes.
Expectedly, these allegations set off a firestorm across Nigeria and beyond. The alleged perpetrator initially issued a statement offering a general denial of the allegations and threatening both civil and criminal proceedings. For the first time, Pastor Fatoyinbo found himself issuing a public response to such allegations. In the past, he had not dignified similar allegations with an acknowledgement. Pastor Fatoyinbo’s threat of criminal proceedings sounded like bluster. He did not have a plausible path to criminal proceedings against her.
In the end, Mrs. Dakolo sued before the civil courts. A mere nine weeks after her case was filed, Justice A.O. Musa, sitting on the outskirts of Abuja in Bwari, delivered a ruling on the outskirts of the jurisprudential season, holding on November 14 that it was statute-barred. Under the applicable laws, he ruled, such cases must be filed not later than 75 months (six years and three months) after the act complained of. Having dismissed Mrs. Dakolo’s action, the judge then added: “…what we are now left with in this suit is sentiment. This suit is soaked in emotions and ferried into this court by the claimant riding on the thick clouds of bourgeoning sentiments”, claiming that it will “occasion grave miscarriage of justice” to ask the pastor to answer to these claims after 16 years.
This ruling raises many questions about the state of both law and procedure concerning sexual assaults in Nigeria, especially, one reported so many years after it happened. As the world marks the International day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, it is important to return to these.
Criminal proceedings, if one were to take place, become a trial, not of the alleged perpetrator, but an ordeal for the victim, in which her intimate life is subjected to humiliating micro-examination for the purpose of granting the perpetrator a free pass.
In principle, there is no limitation on criminal prosecution for rape or sexual violence. The fact that the allegations in this case happened long ago does not preclude an investigation or, if evidence of rape is in fact unearthed, of prosecution. Achieving such an outcome, however, would be dependent on overcoming some constraints of law, evidence and practice.
Let’s begin with the broad regime of laws affecting rape and sexual violence in Nigeria. At present, Nigeria has a multiplicity of sources of laws on rape and sexual violence. There are at least five. In the Federal Capital Territory, the Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Act (VAPPA) of 2015 has a robust definition of rape as a crime that can be committed by both men and women and involves penetration of any bodily orifice. Nine states – Anambra, Benue, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Kaduna, Osun, and Oyo – seven in the south and only two in the north – have adopted the VAPPA. In nine other states of Southern Nigeria, the Criminal Code applies. Separately, Lagos State enacted a Criminal Law in 2011, which defined rape in terms that both anticipated and resemble the VAPPA. 12 States of Northern Nigeria that have adopted Sharia also recognise a Huddud crime of rape. Additionally, the Penal Code remains applicable in 17 States of the north in relation to the crime of rape.
Both the Criminal and Penal Codes are Victorian pieces of legislation, the gist of whose prescriptions on sexual violence were defined in the last quarter of the 19th century during the reign of Queen Victoria. By the way, she died in 1901. In the terms alleged, the crimes against Mrs. Dakolo took place in Kwara State, where the Penal Code is applicable.
Section 282 of the Penal Code defines the crime of rape as comprising four essential elements:
(a) penetration of female genitals with the male phallus; (b) the act of penetration achieved without the consent of the woman or the consent – if one is alleged – was obtained by fraud, force, threat, intimidation, deceit or impersonation; (c) the woman is not the wife of the perpetrator; and (d) the perpetrator intended to achieve penetration of the woman without her consent or acted recklessly without regard to whether or not she consented.
The two most important of these four elements are the physical act of penetration and the communicative act of lack of consent. Every investigation of rape invariably turns on these, making rape a trial of the body of the woman or victim.
Rape typically occurs outside public view. Overcome invariably by personal feelings of guilt and filth, victims are often too ashamed in the immediate aftermath of the crime to confide in anyone. As a result, rape kits are often not performed until after loss of biological evidence. By the time a rape kit is performed, essential biological evidence would have been lost, making the likelihood of effective investigation or successful prosecution rather low or non-existent. Criminal proceedings, if one were to take place, become a trial, not of the alleged perpetrator, but an ordeal for the victim, in which her intimate life is subjected to humiliating micro-examination for the purpose of granting the perpetrator a free pass. Unsurprisingly, many victims, unwilling to subject themselves to such ordeals, would rather nurse their violations and not report rape.
This is the context for assessing the ruling dismissing Mrs. Dakolo’s civil case. The victim was too young at the time of the alleged incident. The judge, having held the case was statute–barred, went on to venture gratuitous put downs that did not do him a lot of credit. He rendered judgment with neither compassion nor humaneness and was too enthusiastic to lay into the victim. The award of punitive costs against her counsel (in the sum of one million naira) appeared rather uncalled for at best.
…the definition of rape in both the Criminal and Penal Codes is clearly very outdated. It makes the crime near impossible to prove. To achieve this, VAPP Act needs to be taken to all the States and made the standard all over Nigeria. This will make it possible to harmonise the laws of sexual offences across the country…
Whatever the difficulties of proof, cases like Mrs. Dakolo’s remind us of the need to scale up rape law reform in Nigeria. Some basic steps can help.
First, the definition of rape in both the Criminal and Penal Codes is clearly very outdated. It makes the crime near impossible to prove. To achieve this, VAPP Act needs to be taken to all the States and made the standard all over Nigeria. This will make it possible to harmonise the laws of sexual offences across the country, eliminating the confusion that presently exists. The Conference of Attorneys-General in concert with the inspector-general of Police can commit to legislating to make this possible.
Second, at present, the law allows evidence of the sexual or intimate histories of victims from the proceedings but mostly precludes such evidence on the part of alleged perpetrators. This incidence of the laws of evidence in rape proceedings in most jurisdictions in Nigeria can be reversed by amending the relevant laws in all the states other than Lagos where this has already been achieved.
Third, in civil cases alleging the rape of minors – as in persons under the age of 18 – or culpability of persons in authority over the victim (as in a pastor), it should be possible to allow for a doctrine of continuing violation triggering the commencement of computation for limitation purposes from either the attainment of majority or the end of the power relationship between the victim and the perpetrator (whichever is later). If this requires updating legal doctrine or amending the statute of limitation, then it should be done.
Fourth, predictably, propagandists for the alleged perpetrator have gone to town with unfounded claims of his exoneration. That, sadly, is far from what has happened. It is impossible, however, for victims in cases such as this not to feel let down by the system. We must invest in weaning judges through training of a prevailing Victorian mind-set about remedying rape.
Pastor Fatoyinbo may have achieved a technical legal victory but it has left his name in ruins. He may never be able to clear himself of allegations that he is a rapist. That is a terrible burden for a “Man of God” to live with, a testament to the soft vengeance of Busola Dakolo’s incredible courage.

Busola VS Fatoyinbo: Court Vindicates Fatoyinbo, Fines Busola N1m
Tumblr media
An Abuja Federal High Court, 12, sitting at Bwari,  has awarded a N1,000,000 fine against Busola Dakolo, wife of hip-hop singer, Timi Dakolo on Thursday. Justice Oathman A. Musa while giving his judgment dismissed the case filed by Busola Dakolo against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA). He held that the case was empty and purely sentimental and also an abuse of judicial process. Also, Justice Musa further ruled that the case was aimed more at cruelty than obtaining justice. In the light of that , he fined Busola the sum N1,000,000 and held that the fine should have been 10 times more because the court’s time was wasted according to www.vanguardngr.com Recall that Busola filed a rape suit against the COZA pastor for alleged rape in 2002 while she was a member of the church. Read Also: Alleged rape: Submit yourself to court for justice sake, Dakolo tells Fatoyinbo The case has caused some public unrest as some concerned Nigerians staged a protest to COZA headquarters in Abuja seeking that Fatoyinbo be removed as pastor. Fatoyinbo’s legal team led by Dr. Alex Izinyon (SAN), had however argued that the prayers in the suit were ungranted by the court, and that the suit was frivolous and an abuse of court process. However, the accussed, Fatoyinbo wasn’t in court because he’s not required to appear in person for a civil matter. He was however represented by his lawyers. Since the verdict on Thursday, there has been mixed reactions on social media. Here are some of the reactions from Twitters users. @tinie_xo What happened to Busola Dakolo is sad but then again, what were you guys expecting? It happened 20 years ago and she had no evidence The law is all about justice not sentiments. CHISOM@_PLICE How I wish this Busola Dakolo's story will not discourage victims of rape from coming out and reporting the perpetrators. Chidi Odinkalu@ChidiOdinkalu "In his ruling, Justice Oathman Musa held that the matter amounts to injustice & an abuse of judicial process adding that the case is empty & purely sentimental. Justice Musa said that the case was aimed more at cruelty than obtaining justice." Whaaaat?! Hoethea @mslami_ay So Busola Dakolo's case has been thrown out by a judge saying it's a case of cruelty and sentiment against Biodun Fatoyinbo. She's also going to pay him a fine of 1M. Don't let me hear any "have you reported to the police ever again" SHAME! M @melody_hassan According to the court, Busola Dakolo wasted it’s time with her case and she should pay for the ‘’time wasting’’. Don’t ask women to take up their rape cases legally or report to the police again. You can see how helpful that is. Otunba ICE @ManLikeIcey I knew Busola Dakolo was going to lose the case because there wasn’t any evidence she was raped But if Pastor Fatoyinbo truly raped her and the court didn’t favor Bisola because she had no evidence God for sure will pass the final judgement because only him knows the truth. PAPICHULO@ZinoMulla I actually knew Busola Dakolo was going to lose the court case against Biodun Fatoyinbo for lack of evidence. The court isn't about emotions and sentiments. It's alright about facts and proven evidneces. Igala High Chief @I_Am_Ilemona   No matter the cause, one of the effects of this judgment in Busola Dakolo's case is that a lot of women who are the victims of sexual assault will think "What if I lose & I'm asked to pay a fine?" before they determine not to speak up. And that's just sad Read the full article

Alleged rape: Submit yourself to court for justice sake, Dakolo tells Fatoyinbo

Busola Dakolo, wife of Nigeria’s inspirational singer Timi Dakolo, has urged the FCT High Court in Abuja to discountenance Preliminary Objection filed against her case by Biodun Fatoyinbo, Founder and Senior Pastor, Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA). Mrs Dakolo made the plea while responding to the preliminary objection by Mr Fatoyinbo insisting that she sued the pastor because of the continuous emotional injuries she had suffered as a result of the rape he committed. She therefore asked that he (Fatoyinbo) should submit himself to court to ensure justice. Mrs Dakolo took Mr Fatoyinbo to an FCT High Court for allegedly raping her on different occasions when she was a teenager about 20 years ago. Mrs Dakolo, in her suit, claimed that the incident had continued to hunt and traumatize her and as such required justice to be discharged through the law court. The court in a writ of summons dated September 6 had ordered the pastor to appear before it within 14 days of the service or judgment may be given in his absence. However, the pastor through his lawyer, Alex Izinyon, SAN, tried to discharge the suite by filing a preliminary objection dated September 20, saying that the case was filed out of time and the court can no longer hear the matter again. Responding to Mr Fatoyinbo’s preliminary objection, Mrs Dakolo, through her Lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, argued that the action was not statute-barred (filed out of time) and that it is predicated on continuous injury which is an exception to the Statute of Limitation. She noted that the argument that her suit was filed out of time was misconceived and an attempt to hoodwink the court from the main issue and evade justice. “My cause of action is predicated on a continuing injury which I have continued to suffer over a long period of time,” she said. Mrs Dakolo urged the court to discountenance Mr Fatoyinbo’s Preliminary Objection to the case and asked that he submit himself to court to ensure justice. She prayed the court not to allow the defendant run away from justice by hiding under the cloak of statute of limitation, noting that emotional distress is a tort that cannot be quantified by time. Rape: Busola Dakolo files a counter to Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo's preliminary objection (See Court Papers)
Busola Dakolo has filed a counter to Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo's Preliminary Objection stating that her court action is not statute barred and that the argument that her suit is out of time is misconceived and an attempt to hoodwink the court from the main issue and evade justice.   In her written argument in the court process, Busola Dakolo, through her Lawyer, argued that her cause of action is predicated on a continuing injury which is of a nature that is suffered from time to time, continuously, over a long period of time the substance of which has been established in a plethora of case laws as an exception to the application of the Statute of Limitation.   She urged the court to discountenance Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo's Preliminary Objection that her matter is statute barred and asked that Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo submit himself to court for the purpose of justice.   She prays further that the Court should not allow the defendant to run away from justice hiding under statute of limitation and that emotional distress is a tort that cannot be quantified by time. Busola Dakolo had on the 6th of September, 2019 commenced civil action on intentional infliction of emotional distress against Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo, the Founder and Pastor of Common Wealth of Zion Assembly, COZA, over an allegation of Rape.   Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo, last week, through his lawyer, Mr Alex Izinyon, SAN filed a preliminary objection arguing that the matter is statute barred and that she can no longer come up with a court action again against him, thus attempting to rid the court of an opportunity to entertain the suit on its substantive merit while giving both parties an opportunity to present their case for impartial adjudication.

You know your oblivious flirting hc with Law/Luffy/Ace? I think about the Law ending so often I need to know if he ever goes for it
The Post
You sent this FOREVER ago and I'm so sorry I'm only just now getting to it 😭
That night? No.
That week? Unlikely.
But I like to think at some point, when the both of you are just a little tipsy, you make some kind of lewd joke. Instead of getting flustered, he just raises an eyebrow and says something like "Wouldn't you like to know."
"I would, actually." You giggle innocently, but he can see the lust in your eyes. And then, only then, does he make his move.
He pins you up against the wall and shoves his tongue into your mouth. He's shown restraint for so long, and tonight you caught him in a moment of weakness.
He quickly realizes he may have misread the situation, and he pulls away from you. But you whine when he leaves you, and you grab his jacket to pull him back into your lips.
"I told you I want to know," you whisper.
And he doesn't hold back ever again after that.

COZA SAGA: Pastor, Fatoyinbo, in our custody —Police Detectives are presently questioning the founder of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, over the rape allegations levelled against him by Busola, a photographer and wife of popular singer, Timi Dakolo. The Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Frank Mba, said this during an interview with The PUNCH on Tuesday. Responding to a question, Mba said, “Yes, he is in our custody.” When asked if the pastor was being detained, the Force spokesman said it was too early to say. He also said the investigation of Fatoyinbo was proof that the police had not swept the matter under the carpet as was being insinuated in some quarters. When asked why it took so long for the pastor to be invited, Mba said the police wanted to get statements from several witnesses and then build a solid case before inviting him. The police spokesman said, “We have done a whole lot of background investigations and spoken to a whole lot of people before now. It was a deliberate investigative procedure to bring him last. Although we may invite others later depending on how investigations go.(Punch) #nigerian #nigerianews #lateststories #newsupdates #newspaper #qubesmagazine #localafricanreality #sstnews https://www.instagram.com/p/B1rS-eFHdF5/?igshid=1q5s97imkmq8n

COZA Rape Scandal: Why I shunned PFN panel– Fatoyinbo
Tumblr media
Biodun Fatoyinbo, founder of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) on Friday explained why he shunned the panel set up by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN). PFN set up the five-member panel to investigate the rape allegation leveled against him by Busola, wife of popular singer, Timi Dakolo. The embattled cleric said he did not appear before the panel because it appeared biased. He also added that he was advised by his lawyers not to appear before the panel because it was prejudiced and may not conduct an impartial session. Mr. Fatoyinbo revealed this in a statement issued by his senior assistant, Ademola Adetuberu. PFN’s National Publicity Secretary, Emma Isong, a Bishop, on Thursday said the panel was unable to conclude the investigations. He said it was because “Several attempts to meet Pastor Biodun of COZA church, who is one of the important parties in this matter, failed despite efforts by the fact-finding committee to get his attention or appearance.” Mr. Isong, however, said that Mr Dakolo and his wife appeared before the panel. He also said the panel, which met for more than a month, had several meetings and interfaced with several parties that were connected with the matter. In the statement, Mr Fatoyinbo explained that he snubbed the panel because the PFN President, Felix Omobude, had earlier publicly disowned him. “We recall that when Pastor Fatoyinbo was invited by a phone call a few days ago by Pastor Akinola Akinwale, who is the National Administrative Secretary of PFN, we explained that our Pastor would not honour the invitation due to legal advice hinged on the ongoing police investigation,” the statement read. “The legal advice was also premised on the press statement issued and personally signed by the PFN President, Bishop Felix Omobude, where our Pastor was publicly disowned. “Based on the foregoing, we are convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that the PFN was already prejudiced and may not conduct an impartial session.” He said the panel did not make a written invitation to him. Mr Fatoyinbo, however, assured that he would appear before the panel after the conclusion of the police probe into the rape allegations. Read the full statement below: “The legal advice was also premised on the Press Statement issued and personally signed by the PFN President, Bishop Felix Omobude, where our Pastor was publicly disowned. Based on the foregoing, we are convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that the PFN was already prejudiced and may not conduct an impartial session. “According to the report, Rev Omobude, whom we hold in high esteem, went further to crucify our Pastor without seeking to know his side of the story on the matter. With all due respect, we consider this a prejudicial position in dispensing justice and fairness. “Even our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was given an opportunity for a fair hearing by the Kangaroo Panel set up with the prime motive of condemning Him to death. “Up till today, there was never any written invitation from the panel or the PFN leadership, apart from the telephone call which we explained why our Pastor could not come, requesting him officially to appear before the panel. “A few days ago, a National Officer of the PFN, who spoke to our Senior Lawyer, was informed of the basis why Pastor Fatoyinbo was advised not to appear before the PFN’s panel until the Police investigation into the matter was concluded. “Once the police investigation is over, our Pastor is ready to honour the invitation. “We have also been legally advised to deploy judicial intervention to clear our Pastor as soon as possible, and the process has commenced in earnest. We appreciate those who stood and still standing by us. It is our hope that the truth shall prevail in the end.” The controversial pastor has held Nigerian headlines since June when Mrs. Dakolo revealed her ordeal in a YouTube interview with Chude Jideonwo of YNaija. She alleged that the clergyman raped her twice in Ilorin, Kwara State when she was 16. Many Nigerians have asked that the police and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) investigate the case.
