so it was halfway through the week (Wednesday) and we were doing clubs! (individual times where everyone gets to choose what they like and go off of on their own with a group and a counselor or two) and one of the clubs I chose was fishing with 3 other people in our cabin (they chose it themselves and it just so happened for all of us to get into it) I was reading in the shade cause I got bored of fishing. I walk up to Sloom (the name they go by online not their real name) and say "Can I cast once and see if I can get something?" they agree. I walk up to around where someone from my cabin is and go "Hey, where is the pocket dog?" (we used sausage links as bait, and that's the name we used for them) They say it's on a rock nearby where I am I go take a chunk off of it and put it on a hook. Now you see these fishing poles are crappy af and don't cast very well. I somehow manage to get a good cast out on the other side of the Jet (the place we fish on) and not too long after I get a bite I notice how heavy this fish is and once it's out of the water I can't reel the fish up anymore. So I pull it up and some kid yells "REEL IT IN" I respond with "I can't it won't go!" and the councilor Raptor (I loved her personally but she was with one of the younger cabins) [yes she has a raptor mask] helps me pull it in and get the hook off. Everyone was surprised that I managed to get a fish that big. Raptor then says "Someone kiss the fish!" and Sloom does kiss the fish and then afterward we toss it into the water
