Hello Thursday, Good morning lovely ones… So this happened this week, a commission to recycle a pair of old leather riding boots into a bag! Boy, it was a challenge too with blisters on my the inside of my fingers and my machine hates me but so good to give something another life! #zerowaste Now…. cliff’s edge

She walked across the gentle cliff and glided over the soft gray grass. The sun was just setting and stained the sky in a warm yellow while the rest of the world slowly grew blue. Iris took a few more steps until she reached the cliff’s edge. Overlooking the chasm was a town covered by a light fog. Through the mist, Iris could see that the lights were beginning to turn on. Oddly, the world under the cliffs seemed eternally dark and full of gloom. Up there, the sky’s brightness created an everlasting feeling of peace and shalom. 

Sigh 

She would have to venture down anyways, so she bid the sky a farewell and started down the cold dark steps. 

The sun was setting, but it was the start of a new day.

Thoughts...

In my first set of posts I mentioned wanting to use my main man, Stevie, who is a 2 1/2 year old chocolate Labrador as part of my inspiration and as a subject of my photography. Reading through the content, I have decided to depict Stevie though a series of images creating a photographic theme.  

From here I thought of several ways to position this, switching thoughts between theme or story;

1. Photography from Stevie's life - luckily of which I am obsessed with taking photos of him so have a few thousand to choose from.

2. A day in the life of 

3. Depicting a habit of his - sleeping, playing etc

4. His persona/personality

I settled on working with a theme and allowing the viewer to create their own story or ideology from the pictures I choose to represent Stevie. Following on from this and sparked by the readings from the content; I had it! #thelifeofstevie I had been working towards this moment for the last 2.5 years via Instagram. I created the hashtag #thelifeofstevie to link all my photos together that I posted of him on my Instagram account. Unfortunately, as my account is private, I believe these images aren't publicly accessible. However this is where I will start.
