Douman's life started simple. In a time of change, young Douman was born into a family that wasn't remarkable. Of course he would have been the one in four who were drafted into the emperors court. Kira moved around 3 months ago. She still isn't quite use to the life change. Her family convinced her telling her it would good for her after various rejections from some of the best schools of the country. She decided to still get an education though at the community college, maybe advanced chemistry wasn't for her after all. Still quite an adjustment period.

ernie was born in portugal ,  his parents immigrated to america when he was very young .  he loves his family with his entire heart , knowing all too well the hard work and dedication they had for him in order for them to have a better life here, in the united states . when he was young , he was a bit of an activist kid .  when he was really , really little , he often got picked on because he was ... well , small af .  as he aged though , he really came into his body .  sports were a big deal in his household , and ernie loved playing them when he was a tiny-tot .  the older he got , the bigger he got , and soon he was larger than a lot of the people he was in school with .  he was usually found sticking up for the underdog ,  stopping fights ,  asking the kids who always sat alone to sit with him  .  he was that kid .  being from the inner city made him rough and tough , yes , but the love of his family and friends gave him a big heart --- one that had a tinge for doing the right thing . 

after college and what not , ernie started with mma and ufc fighting .  he loved being in the ring , and the genius behind it .  it was so much more than people made it out to be .  more than just throwing punches and hoping to not get hit --- it was a lot of thought , and being smarter than your opponent , getting into their heads and knowing where they were going to move , go , and do next .  he excelled , very quickly .  it became his thing , per se .  he was constantly honing his craft , and doing whatever he could to do better , be better . 

he eventually joined k&a in his late twenties , and soon the organization became his life .   they were sending him on missions ,  having him gather information , and it gave him a level of importance that he otherwise didn’t have .  he was putting his skills to work , cleaning up messy situations ,  taking care of business , and he was able to support his family back home due to the pay .  it meant so much to him to be able to be a part of a team , to not feel alone .  he loved his job . 

he’s the guy that you take with you when you know things could get ugly --- hence his title of the muscle .  ernie is the one who isn’t afraid to break a couple bones , and he’s damn good at it .  but when he’s back in the office , he’s cracking jokes , being an all around good guy , and trying his best to not step on anyone’s toes .  he cares a lot , and has a bit of an addictive personality .  he surrounds himself with high energy people , needing to be constantly stimulated in order to feel appreciated .

- eloise was a child of a broken home in detroit. she was homeless at age 10 before being placed in the system when she was 11. she was behind in education and struggled in academically and socially. she never knew what home was like until her estranged aunt found her when she was 15. from that moment, eloise’s life took a 360 and she began to break out of her shell. 

- she graduated as valedictorian and was accepted into all ivy leagues. she choose dartmouth and pursued law. she met conrad during this time and the two fell in love. since eloise lacked a lot of things she didn’t realize she moved into the relationship too fast but with a baby on the way she thought it was the best option. 

- even if eloise graduated from dartmouth and pursued law , she always felt second best compared to her then husband. she was one of the breadwinners but also the housemaker. she sacrificed a lot for conrad, even fore fitting numerous cases out of the fear that “an angry women would tarnish conrad’s reputation.” 

- enough was enough for eloise and even though she was urged not to, she called for a divorce. she really wanted full custody of the kids because she knew conrad cared more about appearance than he did his children. eloise is a really great , supportive mother who did almost anything to make her kids happy. she went to every theater production, soccer game, and award ceremony. she knew the divorce hit the kids hard so she really tried to be there for them ;-;

- she quit law after the divorce because no one would hire her. even though she was really, REALLY good at what she did. she became an activist by funding schools in detroit and other developing cites. currently she’s playing an active role in gun control and the refugee crisis ;-; 

- eloise is really the beer and peanuts type of person rather than the champagne and caviar. she likes things that are typically masculine like football, cars, etc. she has a very warm, loving personality. you can tell she cares a great deal about the causes she supports and her family.

- had a gay awakening after conrad . has dated both men and women ! she’s not heartbroken over conrad at all tbh

hello, hello, hello! you have no idea how excited i am for this roleplay as it’s based on all my fave tv shows and this looks like an amazing political rp so THANK YOU, ADMINS! i’m eleanor, i’m in the gmt timezone and my pronouns are she/her. this is the first intro of two and so i’m pleased to present esther! a stats page will follow but i thought i better publish the basic backstory now!

( zellmann, ESTHER. forty-seven. cisfemale. she/her. constance zimmer. ) — the vice president of kerrington & associates has just been seen on white house grounds. can you believe she has worked for k&a for ten years?  i hear she is known as the ace and can be extremely abrasive and unscrupulous. it’s a good thing they’re also decisive and pragmatic, though. anyone else hear supergirl by anna naklab? 

Esther grew up in a middle class family to a German migrant father and an American mother. Even as a child, Esther was a confident person, perhaps a little too confident for her own age. She was always outspoken and that didn’t bode well with her father; he was a tough man, one that held old-fashioned values very dear to him and one that demanded respect from all those around him. Her mother was weak in that aspect, she quit her job when Esther was born and didn’t go back because her father wanted her to stay at home and look after their daughter while he ran his business. He always had high hopes for Esther and that meant that nothing was ever good enough for him; he pushed her as she was his only child and wanted nothing but greatness from her. Her mother tried to praise her but there was never any balance. As Esther grew older, her parents seemed to distance themselves further away from them as her father began drinking more and more. He said it was always to take the edge off of disappointment but he had a problem and wouldn’t admit it. When confronted about this, the man would often turn violent so she just learnt to turn a blind eye.

Persuasive, confident and observant, it was no surprise when she decided to go into the legal profession. Although she was abrasive, some would say rude, Esther had the ability to work around people, to manipulate them into thinking what she wanted them to think; when it came to the game, her conscience was left at the door. Of course, her father supported this and paid for Harvard Law School for her Undergraduate Degree. However, he passed away when she started Yale Law due to liver failure; she had tried to tell him but there was no getting around him. While her respect for authority figures lacked, one couldn’t say that she wasn’t wary about what she said around the man in his last years. With her mother shutting her out, she threw herself into her law career and proved to be a successful criminal lawyer; Esther made junior partner at the age of thirty-four. Although she wasn’t the most pleasant person to be around, she brought the company a lot of money and they always appreciated her services.

The woman’s upbringing made her incredibly focused and goal-orientated; she was doing brilliantly in her work but her eyes were really opened when she met Alaric Romero. Esther was a sought-out lawyer and many people from different companies had tried to poach her but this work was different, perhaps MORE interesting than what she was doing previously. This lead her to join Kerrington & Associates and she never looked back. Her skills allowed her to be great at crisis management. 

Esther has been working at Kerrington & Associates for ten years but she was out of action for a year (the sixth in her contract) after being involved in a car collision with a drunk driver. It was deemed a miracle that she had even survived but her injuries were severe and it took her a while to gain her mobility back. The woman is still incredibly bitter about it and she’s more unscrupulous than ever when it comes to her work and even personal relationships.It’s now definite that she will go for what she wants, no hesitations. Of course she’ll assess a situation before rushing into it and her pragmatic attitude allows her to assess from all angles.

 Still, Esther’s a well-respected individual but this doesn’t mean that they don’t know her game play and to be aware of her constant manipulation of others. Although she has lasting physical effects of her injuries, Esther tries to not let it slow her down but even she can’t control her body. All in all, she’s a manipulative, bitter woman that will use ANYTHING to manipulate people but she is lonely; she’ll never admit it but it’s pretty obvious in her manner.

With regards to mathematics, Lydia once once declared that she would be winning a Field’s Medal, which is exactly what she did .

―  While in MIT her research topics included the telluric currents and the ergodic theory . as a result of her research, she was honored in Popular Science’s fourth annual “Brilliant 10” in which she was acknowledged as one of the top 10 young minds who have pushed their fields in innovative directions .

— not much is known about amara. if you asked her, she wouldn’t remember much about the day she was born. Not of her family, if she ever had one, and not of her mundane life, if she even ever was human . She works on the down low and has her right hand man / chevalier who vampires think is the alpha vampire. To which she plays up as well. the master and the puppet she pulls the strings to. their facade as alpha vampire is objectively flawless. they are ruthless when attacking others on amara’s orders and will go as far as to sacrificing themselves for her; his number one priority is fulfill amara’s wishes, but he also isn’t against voicing his opinion on what he thinks is best for her.

—  In her early life, amara can be characterized as a caring and polite person. The first alpha vampire . yet as beautiful and as kind as she can be , amara is capable of being ruthless. Having a sinister, cold, and very dangerous personality.  Anyone supernatural would know the name Amara. as gentle as she may seem, those who anger her or witness it, knows her to be murderous by trade. Holding a very sadistic nature, killing for pleasure rather than for duty. Especially in her younger days amara had her ruthless nature wrapped in her child-like demeanor, giggling after killing people.

— She tended to destroy things when she grew bored of them and showed very little reaction to the deaths of her own ‘children’ as well as seeming to enjoy tormenting others.

— As time went on, amara eventually became extremely apathetic. Beginning to feel her age. Beneath her juvenile exterior was an old woman who had seen and done many terrible things and felt a deep loneliness.  Which resulted in her deep slumber, she went under. Up until 1000+ years ago, many believed amara to be dead. awakened , she posed as a village girl for some time before esther came to her for her blood. wanting to see the results of what the little witch will do with it , amara simply gave it to her. many believed alpha vampire to be dead / a myth and that the first vampires became the mikaelsons

— a magical corbon copies they were . Nothing  compared to her powers . she never bothered to acknowledged them . as long as they did not get in her way of things or her children close to her , she had no problem . 

— She’s been in beacon hills for a long time. It’s where she has her nest / and made her life. She runs the city via through mayor and makes sure everything goes her way. amara is practically an invisible force in town, only making her presence known when she wants to be.

—  As apathetic as she is now, amara does have a softer side which is rarely shown. Playful towards her lovers and people she eventually cares for. Despite this it’s best to be careful because when her patience reached its limit or her enemies were duplicitous, or people tended to be disrespectful, they received no mercy or second chances.
