I need you all to see what I just finished

A life sized crochet Sinosauropteryx prima complete with pico-feathering in as scientifically-accurate of a pattern and color as I possibly could. I had to read some literature to get it right but I think this is one of the best projects I've ever made. What do I name her? 2-L 7Up bottle for scale

I've been working on her since September. The entire base was crocheted in this mustard I had a million skeins of. She didn't even use up one

I love her so much she's gonna sit above my TV in the living room for now until we move and I can have a Designated Spot for her <3

Her mouth can open and close and I purposefully put her in a laying-down position so that she can lay on surfaces well. 4 toes on each foot and 3 fingers on each hand :)

Finally, after 11 days (27 hours) of work, I've finished Plod the Triceratops!!

Even after several mishaps and unexpected color changes and stuffing shortages, he turned out so much better than I could ever have imagined!

A solid 10/10-- the pattern was so clear and easy to follow! I highly recommend checking out HeidiBears-- they have many other patterns along with Plod.

Now, time to let my tired hands rest for a bit before starting something new 🦕.

Has anyone been playing Paleo Pines? I sure have and if there's one thing the game does well, it's the dino designs. They're bloody adorable.

So, of course I had to crochet them and why not start with one of my favourite dinos ever, the Therizinosaurus.

This guy was actually part of a crochet AI challenge I did a couple of weeks back.

I made @alicesuicide a crochet dragon for her birthday. Pattern is by Heidi Bears on Etsy/Ravelry and called Smaug the Dragon. Also featuring a cute picture with Stella the Stegosaurus (Heidi Bears pattern called Puff the Magical Stegosaurus).

I cheated and sewed the horns on flat rather than crochet them but you know what? It works I think, and the less crocheting tiny extra bits to sew on I can get away with, the better 🌚

Day 9 of crocheting Plod the Triceratops!

I was really really hoping to pull through and finish today. Tragically, I ran out of stuffing and severely underestimated how much I would need. Not to worry though! I will get some in a few days. It's just a short delay, but it feels quite anticlimatic when I've been sewing the motifs together for almost 7 hours straight.

However, Plod looks amazing!! The pattern was so clear and he's already looking so great even without a head and only half stuffed.

In the meanwhile, I'll let my hands and fingers rest and maybe work a bit on the frill.

I made a new plushie yesterday! It's a dino💚 I spent 6.5 hours to crochet it (with watching a tutorial) but it was so fun to make!! I didn't notice how the time passed

Finally (thankfully), after a long time of work, it's finished and here! (A project that I kept delaying the progress :')))

And after giving this to my sister, it is now named "Stegy"!
