i really appreciate the way you talk about dnp, i feel like everytime they get discussed from a business standpoint it gets dismissed as cynical but i think it's the most productive way to think about what comes next. signing with it at the same time as beginning to use a consistent editor (they've credited a few different people but the last couple videos have been the same one). it's always been pretty clear that dan wants to move away from the youtube brand (traditional stand-up maybe?), but i wonder if they're looking to move joint content into a different avenue too...

thank you :) lately more and more people talk about dnp's job as a job, which is very cool. i'm a huge fan of this topic, i just wish we knew more stuff, so less could be alleged. that Hollywood reporter article was full of water but with big words. the fact that UTA decided to announce Dan, a youtuber who is far from his peak, to the world is very interesting. i hope that means that they are certain about some of his solo projects, and it's not like "yeah, let's wait for another year".

do you have any thoughts on what kind of avenue dnp brand can move? and by different do you mean different from what we know?

Crooked Souls is “a crime story about people with problems” and contends that it is “Hammett's first great Op classic of the crime genre. As the evocative title indicates, here Hammett already evinces more interest in the character.” While “Slippery Fingers” is a relatively straightforward murder mystery that adheres to the conventions of the genre, “Crooked Souls” details the “dogged, routine detective work” that biographer Richard Layman cites as the distinguishing characteristic of Hammett’s later stories. Some of that investigative work could be tedious: “Shadowing is the easiest of detective work,” Hammett wrote to the editors of Black Mask in 1924. “Back—and it’s only a couple of years back—in the days before I decided that there was more fun in writing about manhunting than in that hunting, I wasn’t especially fond of shadowing, though I had plenty of it to do.”

когда был ии - я сдавала сессию, в прошлом году в разгар wad я за диф тупо не следила (да и по понятным причинам при любом раскладе не до этого вообще было), а следить снова начала только уже в марте этого года

я видела в твиттере, как россияне мотались с визами, чтобы попасть на wad. с визами и перелётами 😂 и не сдаются ж люди! я в шоке была тогда. ооо, и я помню, как многие говорили, что ии вообще не вовремя в Москве. у всех экзамены, дипломы и прочее. потеряли потенциальную аудиторию, конечно( я тоже очень надеюсь на хоть какой-то ещё один (совместный) тур. это всем нам пойдёт на пользу 🙌

interesting note about sponsors: allegedly, Aloha comics didn't let dnp promote their own merch neither in the video nor in the description. Opera didn't have a problem with that, neither did HoYoverse. credits to @crookedsoull for noticing no merch spons in the Heartthrob video. it's just interesting. (p.s. they obviously could forget but... what are the chances when they are promoting the calendar every time they can and they could add extra text about new merch afterwards).
