Hydroponics Market - Forecast (2022 - 2027)
Hydroponics Market Overview:
As per a 2015 study conducted by researchers at the University of Sheffield’s Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures, 33% of the global arable land has been degraded in the last 40 years.[1] Soil erosion, pollution, traditional methods of ploughing land, and heavy use of fertilizers have led to the rise in non-arable land. Hydroponics is a process of growing a variety of vegetable and fruit plants with the utilization of mineral nutrient solutions in liquid, sand, or gravel while discarding the use of soil, chemical fertilizers, and pesticides. Hydroponics forms part of hydroculture and is a modern, eco-friendly farming and agricultural practice.
The growing population coupled with the decreasing agriculture land has increased the demand for food products. Traditional agricultural methods cannot handle the growing global demand for due to the exponentially increasing population. Water scarcity is another relevant factor associated with traditional farming practices. Thus, hydroponics has started to gradually replace traditional agricultural methods. The global hydroponics market was valued at $293.12m in 2018 and is projected to grow at a healthy compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 16.45% during the forecast period 2019-2025.
Europe held the prominent share of the global hydroponics market, estimated at 43.56%, in 2018. Conclusion: Future of Commercial Greenhouse Hydroponics in Agriculture In conclusion, the future of commercial hydroponics in agriculture is promising, as it offers sustainable solutions to the challenges the world is facing due to traditional agricultural practices. Some key facts to note are: - By 2050, a significant amount of non-frozen land will be needed to meet the global population's calorie needs. - Deforestation, a major driver of biodiversity loss and carbon emissions, is mainly caused by the expansion of agricultural land. - Climate change threatens the An overview of traditional farming methods vs yields from commercial growing systems. agriculture, exacerbating food insecurity in already vulnerable regions. - The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the risks associated with encroaching on natural ecosystems, primarily pushed by the necessity for more agricultural land for growing higher quality fruits and vegetables. Hydroponic farming, a form of controlled environment agriculture (CEA), can address many of these issues by significantly reducing the resources and land needed for growing food. This innovative approach eliminates the need for soil and pesticides, minimizes water usage, and allows for year-round production in any climate. Moreover, indoor Vertical farming utilizing commercial growing systems reduces the risk of crop loss from pest invasions, weather extremes, and other environmental factors while preventing deforestation and reducing our carbon footprint. In our next section, we will delve deeper into the specific applications of hydroponic technology, discussing how it can benefit small and medium-sized operations. Discover the advantages it brings and the potential it holds to revolutionize the agricultural landscape for generations to come.  FAQ:  Which hydroponic system is best for commercial?  When considering which hydroponic system is best for commercial use, several factors must be taken into account. The most important considerations include efficiency, scalability, and ease of maintenance. NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) systems are popular in commercial operations due to their high efficiency and ability to scale up for larger production. These systems use a shallow stream of nutrient-rich water that flows along a flat surface, providing a constant supply of nutrients to the plants' roots. Additionally, NFT systems are relatively easy to maintain and require minimal labor, making them an attractive option for commercial growers. However, it is important to carefully assess the specific needs and constraints of the commercial operation before making a decision, as factors such as available space, budget, and plant type can all impact the best choice of hydroponic system.
Is hydroponics commercially viable?Hydroponics, the method of growing plants without soil, has gained attention in recent years for its potential commercial viability. With the ability to control environmental factors such as nutrient levels, temperature, and light, hydroponic systems can produce high-quality crops in a more efficient and sustainable manner. This method also allows for year-round production and the ability to grow crops in areas with limited arable land. However, the initial investment in hydroponic systems can be costly, and proper management and expertise are crucial for successful commercial operations. While the potential for high yields and resource efficiency make hydroponics an attractive option, careful consideration of costs and market demand is essential in determining its commercial viability. What are the most profitable plants to grow hydroponically? When considering the most profitable plants to grow hydroponically, it is important to evaluate factors such as market demand, labor and production costs, and potential yields. High-value crops like herbs, leafy greens, and specialty fruits such as strawberries and tomatoes are often considered the most profitable options for hydroponic cultivation due to their high market prices and production efficiency.  https://www.burpee.com/commercial-gardening: CropKing, similar to Burpee, offers a commercial gardening section on their website where you can find seeds, plants, and gardening supplies specifically tailored for hydroponic and indoor commercial growers. https://www.johnnyseeds.com/growers-library/commercial-growerJohnny's Selected Seeds provides a special section for commercial growers which allows growers to find resources, tools, and a wide assortment of seeds suitable for commercial gardening ventures. https://www.growerssupply.com/Commercial-Agriculture provides technical support for growers looking for solutions.: Growers Supply specializes in providing commercial agriculture solutions, including greenhouse structures, hydroponics systems, and other products to support large-scale gardening operations.

Bubble Gum Grow InfoYou can choose to grow Bubblegum indoors or outdoors, depending on your preferences and conditions. Bubble Gum is an easy-to-grow cannabis strain and is perfect for beginners. However, it is prone to mold if humidity is high or ventilation is poor.If you choose to grow it outdoors, protect it from rain and wind, as they can damage the buds and cause mold. This strain thrives in warm, sunny climates, with temperatures ranging from 68 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. While it can tolerate colder temperatures, it won't produce as much resin or flavor.Pruning is a fundamental technique that improves air flow, light penetration, and yield. However, care must be taken to carry it out at the right time, as it can influence the growth and production of buds. For Bubblegum, the ideal time to prune is before the flowering phase begins or within the first two weeks of flowering. Afterward, avoid pruning, as it can shift the plant's focus from developing shoots to healing wounds.Bubblegum is perfect for SOG (Sea of Green) as it has a uniform growth pattern and clones well. You can use soil or hydroponics as a medium, but make sure you provide enough nutrients and water to your plants.Bubblegum does not require excessive amounts of nutrients but benefits from an extra supply of phosphorus during the flowering phase. Phosphorus helps in bud formation, resin production, and flavor enhancement. You can use organic or synthetic fertilizers, but be sure to flush them before harvesting to avoid any chemical taste or harshness in the smoke.

BUY FEMINIZED BUBBLEGUM CANNABIS SEEDS FAQs about Bubblegum Weed Strain What are the origins of the Bubble Gum cannabis strain? Bubblegum, also called “Bubba Gum”, is a hybrid that was created in the 1970s by breeders in Indiana. It was then refined by the Serious Seeds company in Amsterdam and has won several awards for its quality and potency. How much THC does Bubblegum have? Bubblegum has a moderate THC level of 13%-19%, which makes it suitable for both novice and experienced users. What is the Bubble Gum yield? Bubblegum has an average yield of 16 ounces per square meter indoors and 14 ounces per plant outdoors. Is Bubblegum strain Indica or Sativa? Bubblegum is a 50-50% hybrid marijuana strain that has a sweet and fruity flavor reminiscent of bubble gum. What are the effects of the Bubble Gum weed strain? Bubblegum is a hybrid weed strain with a sweet and fruity flavor. It can make you feel happy, euphoric, relaxed, relieved and hungry. However, it also has some side effects that you should be aware of.The most common are dry mouth and eyes, which can be relieved by drinking water and using eye drops. Some users may also experience paranoia, anxiety, or dizziness, especially if they consume too much or have a low tolerance to THC. How to grow Bubblegum plants? Bubblegum is an easy strain to grow, but it requires some attention to prevent mold and get the best yield. Here are some tips to help you grow this strain:1. Choose the right environment: Bubblegum can thrive both indoors and outdoors, but it prefers a warm and dry climate. If you grow it outside, make sure to protect it from rain and humidity, as these can cause mold on the buds.If you grow it indoors, use a ventilation system and a dehumidifier to keep the air fresh and dry.2. Prune your plants: Bubblegum tends to grow bushy and dense, so pruning is essential to improve light penetration and air circulation. Pruning also helps to shape the plant and remove any dead or unhealthy leaves. However, don’t prune too early or too late in the flowering stage, as this can affect the bud development. The best time to prune is before the second week of flowering when the plant is still in the vegetative stage.3. Use the SOG method: Bubblegum is an excellent strain for the sea of green (SOG) method, which involves growing many small plants nearby and inducing them to flower early. This way, you can maximize your yield and save space and time.4. Feed your plants properly: Bubblegum needs a balanced diet of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, as well as micronutrients and water.During the vegetative stage, use a high-nitrogen fertilizer to promote growth and greenery.During the flowering stage, switch to a high-phosphorus fertilizer to boost bud formation and resin production.Don’t overfeed your plants, as this can cause nutrient burn or lockout. Also, flush your plants with plain water for the last two weeks before harvest to get rid of any excess nutrients and improve the flavor of the buds. What does Bubblegum taste like? This hybrid blend produces a creamy smoke that tastes like berries with a tropical aftertaste, attracting fans who love sweet and fruity varieties. Is Bubble Gum resistant to mold and pests? Bubblegum is not very resistant to mold and pests and requires careful monitoring and maintenance. Read the full article

Germination
So I started the germination process on Friday August 27th. I popped the seeds (CropKings) in my vacant 4x2 and was able to create a totally comfortable environment for them - 80F and about 70% RH. I placed them on saucers on most paper towels, and waited.
