I love idw2 everyone canonically has a mom and yea Starscream WOULD have the worst mommy issues

Megatron explaining why he endured Starscream

In Earthspark, I imagine the Terrans asking Megatron why he put up with Starscream despite all the trouble he gave.

Megatron tells them about Starscream's mother. Although they are not of the same "blood", Cryak was in charge of taking care of Starscream

Megatron and Cryak were great friends and he saw how she took care of the newborn Starscream, making him become an excellent scientist.

The Terrans ask about Cryak but Megatron tells them that she passed away due to a serious injury. Therefore, despite Starscream's betrayals, Megatron "forgave" Starscream's actions out of respect for her.

The Terrans believe that there is something else so they decide to go ask Starscream (who is already part of the Terrans but remains in hiding).

Starscream tells them how much he admired his "mother" on Cybertron. He had left the planet for scientific research but when he returned he was surprised that he had started a war on Cybertron.

He joined the Decepticons and was looking to impress Megatron. He listened to the other decepticons talk bad about him but he ignored them. Although he always wondered why Megatron "forgave" him.

On a trip, Starscream discovers that his mother is still alive. And while Starscream is glad to see her, she's only looking to take advantage of him.

Cryak tells him about his plans for destruction, which Starscream finds unacceptable. Because even if Starscream is considered a traitor, he wouldn't go to that extreme.

Mother and son have a battle where Starscream is the winner. Since that meeting, Starscream was no longer the same.

Starscream tells the Terrans that they are lucky to have a mother who cares for them. Twitch hugs Starscream telling him that he now has a family that he loves and would never betray him.

Ah yes, the conflict. I imagine that the maximals and terrocons have already come to an agreement on this and that is why their civilization was revealed (after many meetings about it)

The Autobots are in shock, the Decepticons are in shock (especially with the fact that they are not like BA) and the intergalactic council no longer cares about Cybertron's xenophobia and is with the papers for an alliance

Meanwhile jetstorm is looking at cheetor and having an "awakening", starscream is about to start a party (even though everyone looks at him like he committed a religious crime) and prowl is 😍 to tarantulas

Damnnn yesss, they told Cybertron to go fuck itself this is happening whether the Autobots™️ have something to say about it or not

Dear VP,

If Noble in Beast Machines was completely organic, how was his body able to hold a spark, which granted him Megatron's memories as well as the ability to speak? Would that not suggest that it was possible that Noble had some mechanical parts?

It is perfectly possible for a spark to exist within an organic body, either temporarily (such as when Starscream possessed Atari), on a long term basis (as was Cryak's unfortunate fate), or intentionally (for example, Scorponok's experiments culminating in the Firstborn).

Likewise, the organic equivalent of a spark, which I believe is known as a "soul", can exist within a mechanical entity. This is how life can be granted to Godmaster transtectors. It could also be seen when Shizuku Amaō's soul became imprinted onto Galvatron's technological cells.

Starscream clung to his carrier’s leg as she led him to the sparkling care building. He didn’t want her to leave them there, he rather go with her to her classes. As they came closer the tighter he clung to her.

“Star,” Cryak said softly, “you have to let go.”

“Can’t I go to class with you carrier?” Starscream whined.

“No you can’t,” Cryak said, “my students are taking a test today. Plus you need to spend time with sparklings your own age.” Cryak peeled her clingy sparkling from her leg and handed it over to the daycare assistant. Starscream thought about biting the assistant when he was set down on a beanbag chair. The little sparkling scowled and looked at his carrier.

“I’ll be back later,” Cryak said, “be good Starscream.” The tiny seeker rolled his optics and crossed his arms.

“Hi! My name’s Skyfire,” a shuttle said as he came up next to the bean bag, “what’s your name?”

“Starscream,” the tiny seeker muttered and sank into the beanbag.

“I’ve never seen you here before,” Skyfire said, “did you know that there’s going to be an science experiment later?” That pipped Starscream’s interest.

“I like science,” Starscream grumbled, “my carrier is one of the science professors.”

“So is my carrier! Wanna be my partner?” Skyfire asked, “I overheard from the caretakers that this is going to be a partner experiment.” Starscream bit his lip plate, if this was a partner experiment then he would like someone who also liked science.

“That would be fine,” Starscream said.

“Great!” Skyfire said, and then picked Starscream up, “come on, lets go tell Ms. Icystorm that we already found partners!” Skyfire walked off, carrying Starscream in his arms like a kid who just found a cat.

Cryak smiled as she saw Starscream sitting next to another sparkling, talking as if they were old friends. Both of them were eating frozen energon underneath a titanium tree. It was nice to see her sparkling acting like a sparkling.

“Is that your sparkling?” A fem said as she came up next to Cryak. The scientist recognized the fem as a fellow science professor, Firestorm, “I’ve never seen Skyfire so happy with another sparkling. Not many of the younglings here are as interested in science as he is.”

“My Star just loves Science,” Cryak said, “normally I take him with me to my classes, but today was a test day and the students complain that he has a judgmental glare on test days.”

Firestorm laughed, “I try to have Skyfire with me in class as well, but he answers all the questions before my students do. I like brining him during experiment days, he has a lot of fun.”

“Star likes those days too,” Cryak said, “I want to take him on an exploration when he’s older.”

“Hey, we still have a few hours before the daycare closes,” Firestorm said, “want to get some caffeinated energon?”

Cryak looked over at Starscream, the biggest smile on his faceplates as he and Skyfire talked, “you know what, that would be nice.”

“Alright!” Firestorm said, hooking her arm around Cryak’s arm, “let’s go!”
