This is a story that inspired me a lot to keep continuing what I am doing as TraveLo. I always travel solo and When I check into any cafe, I always look for a empty seat, be it alone on a table or on a table with strangers. So, I was in the most famous and the oldest cafe of Old manali. It is always crowded and there was no free table. Then, I came across a table where about 10 people we’re dined already with a single empty seat. On that table, there were people from all across the world. There were people from Gujrat, mumbai, Banglore, Hyderabad, germany, kerala, UK, etc. I approached the seat and sat with them and ordered my food. There was this guy from kerala who got really curious and asked me this question. “Bro, do you know anyone on this table?” So, I have this tendency of sitting with my head down. I looked up to him. Then, I looked around that table to check out who all are there on that table. Then, I heard this voice coming from the other side of the table, “Hello travelo” “Hello travelo” “Hello travelo”, It turns out that six out of those ten people knew me already. It hit me really heard that night. The next day, I was at another cafe to have ginger lemon honey. I could hear a group whisper something about travel. I went a head to pay up my bill and one of the girl from that group approached me and asked “Are you traveLo?” I said “yes, I am” She told me that she saw one of my videos in 2019 and came to Himachal for the first time to have Siddu. . As a solo traveller, some times, you tend to feel depressed after travelling solo for a long time and thinking for yourself if what you are doing is all worth it and is good at all. That night I realised one thing that yes, whatever I am doing is something good. It made me feel a little overwhelming inside and a little proud of myself. Good food is all I need to cheer me up. In all these years of blogging, I have realised one thing and that’s to stay happy no matter what because no one cares about how sad you are and how miserable your life is, as long as you have that constant smile on your face. It’s gotta be alright and there will be no one to cheer you up from that depression. Only you can help yourself and get out of it. Go out, meet people, laugh it out, cry out loud in private, be generous and be confident because we all are living the very same balanced life with happiness and sadness. No one is perfect, but your perfect one will definitely find perfection in your imperfections as long as you’re real and true to yourself not to prove anyone but yourself that you can do it. . . #hellotravelo . Covid has hit really hard to most of our lives. Fortunately, I had been Iucky that It gave me an advantage instead. It’s been a year since I am back home with my family and getting to stsy with them after almost 3 years. When I was working in Delhi, I hardly used to get time for myself and roam around the city but now since I have been working remotely, I can get a break from that hectic schedule and explore my city. So, this from Nehru place @lordofthedrinksnp I don’t really know where to start be it ambience or food quality. Everything is too good to brag about. I tasted their penne arabiata and veggies pizza was delicious and I can’t really stop thinking about it when I writing this review. I am not a big fan of Arrabiata sauce but this one had an interesting taste to it. I throughly enjoyed it. The staff is a also courteous enough to understand us and serve better. The place is very much approachable as it just next to Nehru Place metro station. Food is another thing that I love the most about travelling. When I plan to travel to a place, the first I look for is good food. I tend to come to across many cafes and restaurants serving really yummy food that costs half of its price compared to the city prices at any good restaurants. I remember when I was in kasol for the first and I met @bhargav_thebaker who was selling cheese cakes barefoot on his gypsy standing on the roadside of Kasol market. The next time, when I visited him, he opened up his own cafe @themerakicave I checked into his cafe and he asks,”what do you wana have?” I said,”something with Rhododendron which is my favourite” And he served this crazy pastry made with Rhododendron syrup. I know it was easy to make but the catering to your customers need is something extraordinary that you custom your own menu for it. It makes you feel like home. So, if you are in Kasol, I would highly recommend you try @themerakicave for once and I dead sure you would love it. Keep up the good work brother. . . #hellotravelo . When I am sad, I eat pizza. When I am happy, I eat pizza. When I am depressed thinking about something, I eat cheese burst pizza. Pizza is more than just food for me. Pizza is more like an emotion tripping out from my mouth like liquid cheese, and I am trying to hold it off with my fingers to ensure that I won’t waste a tiny piece of it. The best part in pizza is that you need no cutlery at all, I mean just grab a slice and and you are good to go. Sometimes, I think pizza is a stuffed paratha that didn’t really go well and its veggies burst out on the top and here you go, You pizza is served. Pizza is saviour for bachelor’s like me who really can’t wait much to eat and start eating as soon as it gets delivered. . . What are your thoughts about pizza?
