Cult of the lamb theory #3
Haro is/was a Bishop of the old faith. After all of the old gods fell, rather than perpetuate the worship of them, Haro chose their own path, whatever that may be.
Inspiration and Analysis
Haro shares some similarities with the Bishops of the old Faith, although inverted. Haro wears a white crown with gold robes with black trimming. The Bishops wear black robes with gold trimming. Also note that the Bishops' trimmings have what look like worshippers embroidered on them, Haro's does not.

Haro's crown seems to be inactive or at least subdued, like when the Lamb is confronted by a bishop.

The other Bishops do not acknowledge Haro in any form nor do they feel the need to stop them from entering their realms. Maybe because Haro is not breaking any rules of the old faith or fostering a cult, that we know of, the bishops do not feel the need to antagonize them.

Haro appears to know much about the history of the world of COTL. Expounding lore about the Old faith and the fate of its gods. This would make sense if they were once a Bishop of the old faith. I am curious about what aspect they would have embodied. Four of Five bishops of the old faith represent the four horsemen of the apocalypse, with Leshy possibly representing Chaos. They could represent philosophy or wisdom, seeing as though they seem to be trying to understand what happened to the old gods and the nature of the bishops betrayal of The One Who Waits. Alot of what they say appears to be them stating their observations and hypotheses rather than passing judgment on them.
If Haro truly is a crown bearer, then they are quite different from the others encountered throughtout the game. They are passive towards the Lamb and its cult, preferring to wax expositionally about current state of the world. They aren't necessarily helping the Lamb or guiding them in any way. I feel Haro exists more for the player to learn about the world of COTL than to be an active element of it. Maybe their crown being inoperable is the reason they are not compelled to create a cult..

Clauneck and Kudaai look very similar to each other as well as Haro. While that could just be coincidence, and the fact that they are all sorta look like birds, I like to imagine that there is some link between the three. Haro, Clauneck and Kudaai's robes all appear to share a leaf like pattern. None of the three ever refer to each other though. Neither of the three are able to be harmed by the Lamb, although I feel like that is more of a game mechanic than anything.
My belief that Clauneck and Kudaai were once apostles of Haro comes down to their appearance and chosen occupations. Clauneck is a seer who uses tarot card to divine the Lamb's fate, Kudaai is a weapons smith who offers the Lamb weapons for their crown to imitate. Both occupations require developing a strong philosophy and wisdom of their chosen profession, philosophies being the aspect I believe Haro to embody. Both of their professions expressing a defining aspect of their personal beliefs and philosophies. It's a weak correlations but one I stand by.

Made a COTL OC! She's a scribe/lorekeeper who chronicles down important events as they happen, and thus can often be found near places of danger or disaster. Her name is Aiperos, she's a hare, and a follower of Haro (who I personally believe to be a deity in their own right, just one who is far more subtle than the bishops).
I still need to work on her a bit more and flesh her out where I can but I figured I'd share what I've got for now :)
Also the second image was drawn in Aggie.io for the record!

Uh oh, I’m back at it again with another side comic in the works
Sins of the Flesh inspired me more than I predicted with my au, even allowed me to flesh out an upcoming character in FDS, but we’ll get to them another time
Until then, have a sneak peek to Night of Wrath!
