Narilamb Headcannon: Ever since the Rite Of Lust ritual was unlocked Lambert only ever makes Narinder the Mayflower Leader. Like only their spouse no one else.
Nari is quite smug about this fact.

Ratau and Lamb HC
This week has been very difficult so I haven't been able to draw but I did think of a few head cannons that I wanted to put down before I forget them. I am a big supporter of Rat Dad or even older sibling Ratau so have some ideas.
I wished Ratau would pop into the cult every once in a while in game, it would honestly show more connection to his letters that he cared much more about the cult. But Ratau coming by at least once a month to check on the lamb and make sure things are going smoothly, but soon he starts to play with the cult's children and even begins to help out. He calls it his 'mini vacation from home' but really he just doesn't want to be lonely anymore and he wants to help out.
On one such visit Ratau discovered the Lamb having nightmares and stayed up all night to talk to them about it. Eventually the two fall asleep with the Lamb's head on Ratau's lap.
Always asking if the Lamb has eaten enough, drank some water or even bathed. Crusading can take a long time!
Poor old guy needs to be carried sometimes, old creaky bones.
Usually the one helping the lamb with his wool, at least until Narinder comes along.
Teaches all the kids knucklebones.
Once tried to throw the Lamb in the river for a 'River Day' but his back immediately cracked and that playful plan had to be put to the side to sit down. He did however 'push' the lamb into the water.
Lamb letting Ratau come on smaller crusades, just the areas to get rations for the cult.
Lots of tussling of the lamb hair.
Maybe even a cane whack or two when the Lamb is being cheeky.

The Soz!!!
He tells you Sozo is a nickname- but you can keep calling him that
“So-zo-ni-ous. Yes!” He used to help heal people, he used to study plants, animals…
He mentions a colony, but can’t seem to remember any details
He strives to be helpful and kind- the fits of anger are rare now
And helpful he is- the guy can lift building materials no problem and enjoys cultivating plants. He seems often lost in thought however. It’s not uncommon to find him staring into space for minutes at a time.
Are there still residual spores waiting for their host to slip up? Probably.
The few mushroomos in your camp keep looking at him awfully suspiciously (Maybe they failed in their holy quest of infection but at least they’re not getting picked on or eaten)
He asks you to recover what journals and books you can from his old haunt. You put them in the library. Neither of you read them.
He still writes, now. Draws detailed little pictures. Mostly about you and the cult. Can’t complain about that.
His mind was likely warped in ways you don’t care to measure. But he’s part of a colony again. He is loved. He is happy. He is… a little bit clingy if you’re being entirely honest.

Cult Of The Lamb HC(Au?) design for The Lamb might redo this later, but I somewhat like the outcome. Might do Narinder next.

My opion on the Lamb's personality and back story below. Spoilers for the sorta end of the game but not actual end?
The Lamb, or as I have heard people call them Lambert, started out as a farmer's child. They were a big Mama's kid, a little too hyper at times, but hey, that's what chores on the farm are for. Lambert loved learning to cook with their Mama. They mostly worked in the weat fields, but then the genocide of the Lamb's happened when they were about 18. Lambert saw their entire village get destroyed, and their mom and Pa, along with siblings, die. Lambert was able to get away for a while. Other Lamb's at the time were still getting hunted. They had nightmares a lot during this time. They were finally caught at the age of 25 and sent to death, literally. The Lamb than was told to start a Cult in The One Who Wait's name. The Lamb, in my version, only excepted because they wanted to survive. Survival for their creatures, that and a bit of revenge weighed on their mind to slaughter the creatures that slaughtered their people. The Lamb tried to make the cult more like a safe haven than anything. Yes their were times when sacrifices had to be made, but it was mostly peaceful. At first their were a lot of decenters, but The Lamb only retaught them. The Lamb was soft, lenient. It helped the cult's numbers grow. After a couple of centuries, the Lamb got used to their role. No longer nervous when giving sermons, better at helping followers, better housing, dying a lot less, sometimes only dying in stupid ways to see their God, killing hertics, and witness getting easier. However, the Bishops? Now, that was hard. Each one is more difficult than the last. But eventually, they did it. Their Cult bigger. The Lamb changed. At first a sweet and kind soul, now a blood stained killer of gods. They expected that would be it. Narinder would be fear... but Narinder needed a sacrifice. It was than they knew they should have listened to Shamura... a scarfical Lamb was all they were. So they became a traitor and fought Nardiner almost dying, but in the end.. The Lamb one... they still held that softness and love for their former god. They spared Naridner, and Narinder was furious. It was not easy to get Narinder to settle down to not destroy The Cult to nothing. But after a long time they were able to at least calm him down, and stop him from trying to kill The Lamb. It was around this time that Lambert learned of a Mystic seller, how they were now a infant god, and how the Bishops of old were stuck in purgatory. The Lamb felt... bad for the old faith. Yes they slaughtered their kind but after learning their story with Narinder? They felt bad for both sides. So now they are trying to right their wrongs.

My HeadCannon on how Narinder has to learn normal mortal feelings again. All the followers knows that those two are down for eachother bad. Lamb is female in my HC.
Also Ratau is someone who both the Lamb and Narinder goes to talk when they are confused on someting. And Ratau is very tired on both of them.

oooooo any more kallamar HCs ? :0
Kallamar is one of those people who lock themselves from society to work on something for several weeks. His cult is completely self-sufficient. Kallamar is a nickname, I gave it as an insult but he took it. Quote "Because I'm a fucking treat" Kallamar falls in love with literally anyone who doesn't bully him. Have you seen his harem size.

Who's ready for today's Sermon?
So...I started my second playthrough of cult of the lamb with this little gal in mind. The playthough is in petinance mode (i think i spelt it wrong but its basically survival mode) which requires the player to eat and sleep otherwise you die, and if you die that way then the death is permanent. Which is fine, because that's exactly what I want for the story of this Lamb.
Lore under break (plus bonus sketches)
Eventually I plan on naming her, but this is essentially my world building playthrough whilst also my Lamb x Narinder sorta playthrough. (Awkward since just a couple days ago I saw him as nothing other than a father figure, but a different age has risen with a different lamb, and I always do what I want)
The whole gist of this one is basically that this Lamb is still mortal even after receiving the crown because she is not really the last Lamb, but she has every intent on completing the prophecy so that the other lambs don't have to die. She gave up everything, she left her family and friends for solitude so she could try and face the heretics and followers of the bishops, just so she could face the God of Death and challenge him so the stupid prophecy can finally be put to rest.
She essentially gets sacrificed and faces Narinder, who had no intention of making her a vessel, but she just goes, "You! I want to take a crack at that stupid quest, make me your vessel and I'll prove it right and wrong all at once!" Narinder just humors her, not thinking much of it up until she actually does start killing the bishops.
It's not until the Bishops see this potential despite not finding and killing all the lambs that they set their targets on her....and her family. Following the rest of the lambs as well, they will go on a deep purge. After sacrificing her family the bishops thought they had finally put the threat to rest, thinking the Lamb would give up the crown to follow her family into afterlife, but she just uses her anger and grief to kill Shamura in a swift battle, completing the project wholly.
She, of course, fights Narinder as well. The One Who Waits showed her family no time before sending them on their walk through death and not doing anything to warn her of his siblings plans. (Not that he could've or would've known or been able to do anything anyway, but she was blind by rage)
It's only through her culture, where she has gathered all the Bishops in their pathetic mortal forms, and after she herself has become God, that she stops to realize that she has done wrong....now she is immortal...and stuck with the very people she usurped. It's only then that she tries to make amends; gathering the bishops' lost parts and trying to mend what could have been with Narinder in every way she can.
All in all, her overall personality is bright, cheerful... naive...but she viewed that as a strength where Narinder saw it as weakness. And in a sense it did make her lose control, it drove her to kill without reason and become cold. But the moment she came back she had to deal with the emotions somehow whilst still maintaining her Cult. She kept to a bright smile and burying her guilt, something not left unseen by someone who watched her ever so closely since the moment she died and dared to challenge death. But that's a whole can of worms for another time (when I actually get Narinders design down).

I’ve been really into Cult of the Lamb recently so have some fan art! My stupid brain has also been spiraling cuz ptsd shit so just a little bit of venting here too. Don’t worry too much, I’m doing okay, just having my days lol.
I haven’t finished the game yet, but I’m getting there. I adore all of the lore and I couldn’t help but wonder how effected the lamb is from being the last of his kind and all. It must be hard being a cult leader and slaying bishops.
