Look at the colors!!

This *big* guy is the white lip python! It can grow to 7 feet long and it's habitat is the lowland forests of new Guinea! It has the capability to eat small to medium size birds and mammals and uses heat-sensitive pits near the upper and lower jaw to hunt its food in the night! This big guy is suited to be a pet too!

The White-lipped Python or D’Albert’s Python (Leiopython albertsii) is a constrictor endemic to New Guinea and surrounding islands. These radiant snakes are known to be somewhat defensive, and feed on a variety of mammals and other vertebrates in the wild.

And now the tale, of the snake who dreamed, of becoming one with pipes. But really, totally my fault for giving her too much shit to get into. Now she has no pipes, poor unagi. On the plus side, she has shed out and looking all sorts of shiny, poor beeb was all sorts of uncomfortable.

The top image is a White-lipped or D'alberts python, the bottom is a Boelen's python! They're two different species, but look very similar.
