this is similar to how I feel about family deaths most of the time, I have so many uncles & aunts & hardly interact w any of them so it's like... okay? that sucks? but it's hard for me to pull up what's considered the "acceptable" amount of mourning in these situations bc family or not I didn't know the person...

I know I’m a random voice on the internet & it ultimately isn’t related to what you mean but I notice when you’re gone

ty ;;;  i appreciate it.  i’m just kinda... idk, it’s little things all adding up, i feel?  and i have been feeling really amazing lately (i’ve lost like fifteen pounds over the last couple months, go me) but i’m still really Adrift after losing a couple close friendships but also kind of realizing that... a lot of my friends have a tendency to put me last in their friend priorities even if i put them first in mine?  and it’s getting harder and harder for me to smile and be nice because more and more i feel like an afterthought.  i have like two friends who i don’t feel that way with and neither of them live anywhere close to me right now ;;;  i’m just tired of being Nice and then having people put me last or snap at me anyway, i guess.  i’ve also been trying really hard to join some rp sites because i know myself well enough to realize that mentally i am much healthier when i’m involved with one, but i’m also having a lot of trouble integrating myself with them b/c most of the time the members are all late twenties/early thirties and all anyone wants to talk about are their jobs or their partners/spouses or their fucking kids and i can’t

talk about that stuff?  all i can talk about is my MA/school or the fact that i don’t have kids or a partner/spouse and by my own choice never have, and people get irritated when i do that so i just site awkwardly at the sidelines feeling like everyone dislikes me b/c i either never talk or when i do no one wants to hear it.  which is distressing because i used to be very charismatic and “no-fear no-nonsense”.  it definitely contributes to the feelings of invisibility.  i miss having a rp family.  it’s a way for me to write regularly without having to stress over fics.
