Question for proshippers: what was your introduction to the whole pro/antiship business?

For me, it was when I left a comment on a fanfic that I really enjoyed, only to have the comment deleted because I write smut. This led me down the rabbit hole of pro/antiship, and I was like "Well I'm against harassment and censorship, I don't believe fiction affects reality on a one-to-one basis, and I don't believe the fiction people create and consume are a direct reflection of their irl morality, so...
