da music group have covered up the post thread about it being a scam. I almost fell for it myself, if you ever read this know I plan to exploit you for who you really are. Don’t try and get musicians who are genuinely passionate to fork out money for something they don’t get. I would be cutting an album myself but I don’t have the time for a YouTube account.

A friend once asked me,”So, what’s it like to be an Artist?” I believe I replied,”Well it’s 24/7 work non-stop & High Anxiety”. Here’s just one example,it’s Sunday;a day most relax & prepare for the upcoming week. But for Artist, Producers, & Performers as myself, I am working Sunday evening with not much rest the days prior. At around 5pm in the afternoon, I received an invite from one of my many Industry contacts Linnette Harrigan CEO of Linnette Harrigan Media in NYC to submit two tracks for a TV Drama needing music immediately. My deadline was 8pm the same night. Hence, my anxiety but it’s just all part of the biz. So,I go through my DAmusicgroup catalogue of about 300+ songs to determine if I might have two tracks that may fit what’s needed. Thank God, I did! So with just 7-8 minutes to spare, I sent her the two tracks. Anxiety level has decreased a bit; but now I pray & wait for a favorable response. I am sure the waiting will cause even more anxiety, but every producer, Artist, & Performer understands the waiting; praying for that email, call back, the licensing contract if selected. This is just merely one aspect of my life. But you got to love it or it will drive anyone “Bonkers”. I ask you all to please pray with me. Well as you may know, I have been shopping my Gospel/Hip Hop/Pop album “A Calling” for a minute now since Tate Music Group who was originally contracted & licensed to publish & release it back in 2017 ceased all operations. I am happy to share I finally have some further interest in the album. I just completed re-working the original 8 track album down to 6 tracks, because 6 tracks is less costly to publish, promote, & release. It’s more cost effective all the way around. The Label is out in NYC & originally was interested in my Rnb/Hip Hop tracks but I informed them I am already contracted as an Rnb/Hip Hop/Pop Artist for my Label Famous Records/Fontana/Universal Music Group. And I don’t want to create a conflict of interest releasing another Rnb/Hip Hop album on another Label. But I did let them know I had a Gospel Recording all set to go. Jesse with “We Save Music” in NYC, was more than happy to hear it. I have learned the process of AR work which is great because one day, I pray DAmusicgroup will grow to take on it’s own Artist. Since I am signed under a non-exclusive contract, I am what is considered a “Free Lance” Artist. Basically, I can work outside my current Label. This gives me the freedom to do just that. I believe in the power of prayer. I would greatly appreciate your support & prayers “A Calling” will find another Publishing House home. Let’s face it, my earliest experiences &!exposure to music was in Church Choirs & Christmas Pageants since I was 12yrs old. It seems most Artist, at least in Rnb/Soul, began in Church: Aretha, Whitney, Fantasia etc... Thank you, Jesse, for taking the time.
