so, Passover started Friday. last night was the full moon. today is Easter. which means that the O’Kohen-Wayne-July clan, that consists of an Irish Catholic married to a Pagan (with a basis in Judaism) and a Jew (O’Kohen-Wayne) and an Irish Catholic married to a Jew (O’Connor-July), have had a very interesting weekend. and a separate Pagan and her wife, who is most likely Greek Orthodox, definitely got dragged into all of it. because that’s what happens when you get socially adopted by your best friend and her insane family and your wife’s best friend is part of the other half of said insane family. not that Adeline minds, she loves Cassie and the whole lot of them, it’s just hilarious to think about.

I love thinking about how far muses have come and also just how fucking hilarious certain friendships are.
For example. Adeline, my punk pacifist who is genuinely the softest of beans only hardened really by trauma, is best friends with @dancescircles and I don't entirely know how it happened. But they both went from "I'm never getting into a relationship. I'm never getting sober. I'm never getting professional help." To doing all three of those things, and more. Cassie is married and a mom. Adeline is happily engaged. Both are clean and sober and submissive. And it's amazing. I know they say every Slytherin needs a Hufflepuff, but it's still wild to me that Adeline's Slytherin is Cassandra Fucking July-O'Connor.
Also, everyone needs a friend more excited about your engagement than you are. Cassie is that friend. Adeline is just glad Cassie doesn't remember the conversation where she said Adeline would truly be happy one day.
