if you could force john oliver to acknowledge 1 (one) tumblr post-literally any tumblr post/thread- which would you choose?
I know you were probably hoping I would share a meme post for this, but I immediately knew the answer was, by a large margin, @tellthemeerkatsitsfine 's comprehensive summary of Cowgate.
I could force John to answer why he, David O'Doherty, Daniel Kitson, and Demetri Martin dismantled a fiberglass cow at Late n Live at Edinburgh in 2003. All other posts are irrelevant!
(It would be hilariously sad if the answer is that he'd completely forgotten about this and had no answer.)

“Tree” was incredible. Tim acted his ass off, and it’s a shame he hasn’t done many theater roles, cause his performance was truly electric. And Daniel Kitson’s script was equally solid. He really played the hermit role perfectly. I didn’t expect myself to feel enamored with two guys arguing with one of them in a tree for nearly two hours, but here we are.
Also, I know Daniel is very big on the impermanence of live art, but I’m sure he won’t mind if a crappy photo of my TV made its way out there.

Top 10 Comedians!
Josie Long
Nick Mohammed as Mr Swallow
Cheekykita - very very silly character comedian, made me CRY laughing both times I've seen her
Tarot - I don't see a lot of sketch so I'm not really qualified to say this but they're the best sketch group around! now that Pappy's haven't been around for [checks notes] eleven years, they're my favourite. I really recommend their show Cautionary Tales, they filmed it and it's, weirdly, on ITVX
Daniel Kitson
Ben Moor - he and Kitson are very different, but they're both absolutely beautiful (and more importantly really funny, although Kitson has better jokes) storytellers
Jo Neary - hands down my favourite show last year
Shelf - the lesbian nonbinary double act of everyone's dreams. they're SO funny. and they've been best friends since school!! Shelf and Cheekykita were my favourite shows this year. I fancy Rachel
Robin Ince - ADHD love of my life (see also Colin Hoult)
Tim Key
thank you! I tried not to overthink it!! it's not really in order

Tim gets a few mentions in dot dot dot (Daniel Kitson’s online post-it based show) and one thing he says is that Tim operates in sub-text.
This is something I've thought too (although hadn’t articulated in my head!). It shows in the poems though, doesn’t it, and esp in HUTAAW and HWGRTMB, where the dialogues are often as much about what’s not said as what is said.

Photograph of The Minute Man, a statue by Daniel Chester French erected in 1875 in Concord, Massachusetts. Although French had made sketches of some descendants of Isaac Davis, the first colonial killed during the fight at the North Bridge, April 19, 1775 (who was also the commander of the Acton Minute Men, one of the companies that fought there), French later wrote that he meant to depict in his statue the typical minute man of 1775. The first stanza of Emerson's Concord Hymn is inscribed at the base. Captain John Parker of the Lexington MilitiaThe statue is located in Minute Man National Historical Park. It is commonly called the Concord Minuteman, and is often confused with Captain John Parker of the Lexington Militia in Lexington by the English sculptor Henry Hudson Kitson, from 1899.
