What if ltc won and made cxs his evil sidekick…!?!?

Now that i think about it... why Liu Min’s father is in such a hurry to get the phone back? If it was because, idk, there is a file containing damning evidence in the phone, he would have panicked when Liu Min was arrested, not after his death...

Maybe I am overthinking and it’s just a mcguffin, but  knowing that we can speculate on a timeline of what’s happening during S1E11 and S2E2.

1. Liu Min is arrested.

2. Red eyes now knows for sure that Shanshan wasn’t bluffing, there definitively is someone else with special abilities who is most likely working with the police.

Now here is the tricky part about the timeline... which one happened first, Lu Guang’s stabbing or Liu Min’s murder.

3. What I think happened is that red eyes was probably told/took the initiative to spy about the guy in the photo studio to learn more about his ability. Thus possessing Qiao Ling with ‘’the clue’’ received earlier in the day.

4. Again, speculating... red eyes recognized  Lu Guang and already knows his ability because of shared history. Or they overheard Lu Guang talking to Cheng Xiaoshi who isn’t there and put 2 and 2 together (that CXS is in a picture and LG is communicating with him) but I tend to go for the former for reasons explained later. Not 100% what they are doing, they decide to force Cheng Xiaoshi to come back. Thus stabbing LG in a not immediately fatal way, either because they don’t want him to die, just out of the way or they are careful since they are not sure if they kill LG, CXS could be trapped in the picture or something.

5. Red eyes figures that CXS also has a photo related ability activated with clapping. It’s unlikely that they figured out that he actually goes in the picture in the past. However, if they recognized LG (they didn’t when Liu Min was arrested because it was dark, the door was closed very quick and what are the odds he knows who the helper is) and are familar with his ability... well I can only imagine that NOW they are freaking out about the phone in custody. 

6. they hatch a plan to ‘’get rid of the evidence’’ by murdering LM and getting his phone.

Either before or after 6., Liu Min’s father is told about how there is people with photo related abilities working with the police. I get a feeling that he already knows about red eyes ability otherwise I doubt he would be so insistent about getting the phone back but who knows, maybe there is something else going on.
