I am having. Thoughts.

The fnaf movie made alot of things that were already canon stand out to me, really click in my head and make me actually think about it, even though it's already clearly been there for ages

The latest one is me probably realizing that Springbonnie is like. An actual character that Freddy's used. And not just at the Diner

Of course it's always been there and I've always known this but now I'm like. Thinking about it

Was Springbonnie ever in any promotional material? Had merchandise along with Freddy and gang in universe? Is Fredbear/Springfreddy known as well?

I bet after the missing children's incident, even though they couldn't prove what happened, fazbear ent quietly removed the Springbonnie character and tried to hide traces of the walk around rabbit

I wonder if people in lost media subreddits are trying to remember and find the yellow rabbit animatronic this old pizzeria had

Anyway. Back to the REAL thoughts. Promotional material. Advertisements for Freddy's, and so on. Freddy and gang are all based off of plushies, and are all children. Not in a possession since, but like, I figure the animatronics themselves have "ages" around the same as their target audience, mostly bc chica is a yellow chicken like baby chicks are, you could also note that bear cubs have blue eyes but adults don't really

So like. The main animatronics? Children. But what about their dear Springbonnie? A different model and size from the rest, notably different, but the same, and has an actor inside. Well. I figure he'd be the dad of course! Or play a generic adult/guardian role

And now I just. Keep thinking about Freddy's ads, or shorts. Like maybe a back to school thing where he's giving them all their little fazbear brand lunchboxes, giving them a kiss on the forehead or hugs, helping with homework. Or some sorta safety promo, where all the animatronics are running out to play but Spring stops Foxy, and replaces his hook with a hand while it talks about not running or playing with sharp objects because you could accidentally hurt yourself or others

Just. I can't stop thinking about this. Springbonnie in Freddy's shorts or ads or promotional material in general as the animatronics guardian, their adult who's there to help and show them affection

And basically I love this idea because it hurts me greatly

Another 'ad' I keep thinking of would be William out of costume with plushies of the characters. Kinda working as a Barney or Winnie -esque thing going on (to get kids to buy more Freddy's plushies-)

Like just. William and Springbonnie existing, being known and beloved characters. Springbonnie being seen alongside Freddy and gang in the 80s locations just. Fazbear ent trying to erase traces of his and Springbonnie's appearances from the company history because of the murders.

Since the animatronics were programmed to follow sound when walking around. Do you think employees hanging in the saferoom ever got a bit too loud and ended up with Freddy or gang just. Standing completely still in front of the door. Because This Is Where The People Are but There Is No Room (that they can see)

Hey there followers and friends passing by! I made a dtiys!

This isn't really a celebration of anything, I'm just a fan of draw this in your style challenges, and I haven't really seen any in awhile! Though I guess if I was celebrating anything it'd be over 60 followers on here and 220+ on my Insta! I'm glad so many like to stick around for my silly little aus and art :]

You can change the perspective, lighting, background, etc! You don't have to go for the camera filter like on the first image, and while I did use my Dave design for the drawing, you don't have to make it my version specifically ^v^

The deadline for this DTIYS is November 15th! But I am willing to extend it if enough ask for extra time

You can change pretty much anything in your redraw; scene, outfit, lighting, pose, perspective, etc. But you gotta make sure it's still recognizable! I'd say keeping purple guy tied up to a chair in some Freddy's location with the Springbonnie mask somehow included is all you need

And not a rule, but feel free to ask as many questions as you may need! I will answer as best I can, my asks and anon asks on here should be open ^v^

I did a poll earlier about whether or not this should have prizes, and the answer was overwhelmingly yes! How many people joining will affect how many winners, but right now I'm thinking there will only be one

As I can't offer much else, the prize will simply be digital art by me! If you win and don't want the prize, just tell me and I'll ask a runner up instead ^v^

Since my art requests are always open anyway, to make the prize special for DTIYS winners I've decided they can request I draw things I don't usually do for art requests, like their Ocs, their own designs, added backgrounds, and/or I design a character or fusion that they can own and use

Since I did a bunch with the lighting and bluring, here's versions that show it without! This was my first time doing such strong perspective, so I did try to hide it a bit, but I think it turned out pretty alright :>

And here's a maskless version! Mostly I made this for fun at the last second, but I imagine some artists out there would prefer to draw a human over an animatronic, so feel free to do a version like this instead! It includes Springbonnie simply in the form of some shadowy ears

This was vaguely based on a panel from the tse graphic novel! I'm a big fan of the "I am one of them" scene

Oooo 🧸 with Golden Freddy?

I like how this type of plushie eye fades into the base color of the plastic, so I made the base color black in order to give the best possible Golden Freddy effect. Gosh thinking of in universe merch is fun

Fnaf-tober | Day 10: Bad dream

There aren't really any Springbonnie Nightmares, and plushtrap hardly counts due to being a nightmare of the "fingertrap" Springbonnie plush. Over the years I've taken to headcanon as this meaning CC wasn't scared of the main Springbonnie animatronic, because that was his dad, who he took comfort in and knew wouldn't hurt him. I headcanon this because it hurts me.

It was requested of me to draw Golden Freddy, and I got a bit inspired! Fredbear and Golden Freddy in the style of real animatronics <3 with a bonus silly little goldie sitting in the office at the end

The golden freddy reference sheet isn't entirely accurate, as it is a recolor of Fredbear bdkzbxks

I had fun with this! I like how the design turned out :], one day I'll probably redesign Fred and Spring, but for now these will do!

I want to give them pants so bad. Greatly considering it

Drawing this made me realize just. How absolutely humongous golden freddy is. Why is it nearly as tall as the door when sitting. That's way bigger than even the other classics. I'd be scared too. More than likely the height wasn't considered when placing him, much like the lighting wasn't. But I prefer my conclusion.

I adore him. I've decided to headcanon he's one of the replacement suits mentioned in fnaf 3

My William gained the trust of his victims for weeks, maybe even months? before the murders. He killed them so he could gain more knowledge on how Charlie came back, and how to bring his own son back; He killed them because he hated Fazbear Entertainment; He killed them because their own families didn't "deserve" them; He killed them to make a new family, who could never die, and could never leave him

"Little fox" wanted someone who gave her attention, and encouraged her to be herself. "Springbonnie" gave her that

(As an important sidenote, my William is NOT attracted to children in any way, shape, or form. PLEASE do NOT interpret him as such, I beg of you. I am not comfortable with my version of William being seen that way)

These VERY glowy and purple ones were scrapped, solely because it doesn't make sense. But OUGH, I love it so much <3

Ignoring the missing children's canon designs and names because I like seeing what I can make up, also their names are confusing, I'm avoiding shared names as much as possible in my version, despite how desperately I want to call this one Alex (already my Phone Dude's name)
