Neve Hat Restorer Redux

I've been thinking of remaking the Neve Hat Restorer mod for myself for a while, and after I discovered today that the original mod has been deleted, there were no longer any excuses to put that off.

The mod is fully standalone, requires no bundle edits and is compatible with retextures and other mesh swaps 🌸

Companion and NPC Edits

Starting to edit NPCs now, and Isabela is first up. This mod gives her a new outfit and retexture to match her favourite colours.

Works with any Izzy face retexture, and I highly recommend the Rivaini Isabela - Redux Version pictured here to give her back her darker skin plus some extra wrinkles, given that she's in her mid 50's now!

I made a mod that replaces the mural in the music room of the Lighthouse with the tarot art from Inquisition

because there is no way I'm going to believe that sad egg wasn't sobbing while painting pictures of his wife everywhere

I literally told my friend before the game came out that if the Lighthouse wasn't full of Solavellan murals I was going to mod them in myself and HERE WE ARE

I can't recommend this discord server enough! So far my personal experience has been wonderful. Whether you've never made a mod before in your life or you're a veteran Frosty Editor user, it's a great spot to chat with other modders and access lots of helpful resources and tutorials.

Rook Participates in Banter at the Lighthouse - Mod

You know how there are banters where Rook can talk, but for some reason Rook can only react to those banters in the field, and not at the Lighthouse despite standing in the companions' near proximity?

Well, with this mod, your Rook will always say their piece regardless of where they are!

it doesn't modify anything other than the texture file, so it should be compatible with other recolors and whatnot (if you use another mod that modifies this specific texture [such as the boring wardens mod] you can override it by placing this mod under that one in your mod order)

my amazing, supercharged computer will NOT launch Veilguard with mods anymore. Frosty will activate Steam. The game window will open, and then close immediately (just as shaders would load).

now, it has done this since I started modding the game. But after three tries and one forced reboot, every time like clockwork, the game WOULD launch and run with a high level of stability.

not anymore. i run both Frosty and Steam as administrator. i have updated my graphics drivers i have deleted Mod Data i have deleted and fresh-installed Frosty i have verified game files i have moved Frosty to a different drive i have rolled back a few Windows updates i have given firewall exceptions for every application i can think of i have uninstalled AVG i have logged out of Razer i have tried running the game without Nvidia's overlay

nothing works to solve the crash-on-launch now. in the last couple of weeks, something changed the computer will *reluctantly* launch the game through steam, without mods, but only after two attempts. (i didn't go through all of this, buy this computer, just to play a game without mods.)

i'm at the point where i'm about to try updating my BIOS...but even that is a giant pain in the ass. i can download yet another app that manages BIOS updates through Windows, or I can manually update the BIOS by entering it on start-up. fun fact: bluetooth keyboards don't work when the computer they're connected to is powered down, lol. in order to check my BIOS version/model info, and manually update it, i have to hunt down a WIRED KEYBOARD just to enter BIOS mode during startup.

i'm so tired.

has anyone else experience this, or know anyone who has solved it?
