I’m 9 weeks post op today from my full hysterectomy 🎉🎉⁣ ⁣ Honestly except for my incision scars I don’t feel like anything ever happened!! I feel completely healed 🥰⁣ ⁣ I’ll be 43 next month and I feel like I’m having a re-do of my teenage years. Today is my 5 week check up 👨🏻‍⚕️ (complete hysterectomy) My abdomen muscles are still very weak and “soft” but I have no doubt they’ll be back where they were or even better in no time 👊🏼🔥 I have NO PAIN!!! It’s been 15 days since my last migraine, my energy is through the roof, no back pain in over a month!! My life doesn’t revolve around my period anymore. I’m 2 weeks post op from my full hysterectomy TODAY‼️‼️⁣ ⁣ I never fully realized how much pain and constant discomfort I was in until now. ⁣ I was in constant back pain, abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, feeling down, nauseous I was MISERABLE 😩 ⁣ ⁣ Now I’m finally feeling “normal” again! ⁣ I feel reborn 👶🏼 🍼 ⁣ ⁣ Every day my scars are getting lighter, they’re beginning to get less puffy, the sutures in my stomach are starting to dissolve because I can feel the bump getting smaller and smaller underneath my bellybutton. Things are moving along beautifully ✌🏼😍⁣ ⁣ If you’re ever at the point where your doctor is saying that it’s time for you to get a hysterectomy and you have the option between having it done vaginally and having it done by Da Vinci definitely go with Da Vinci if you’re a candidate ✊🏼 ⁣ ⁣ My sister and my mother had it done vaginally and I watched them in agony for weeks recovering.
