So... hi...

This is the Violetta/SL murder mystery I've been mentioning!

I am so excited for this!

I also wanna give a fair warning: People will die every chapter. There's gonna be descriptions of how they die too, sometimes rather gruesome descriptions. If you're uncomfortable with that, or just uncomfortable seeing characters you love die in general, this is your warning. I absolutely understand and, tbh, some of the upcoming chapters will probably hurt me to write so much as well. But, that being said, if you want a murder mystery, go give it a read!!

Also, asoue fans - you may remember I did something like this for y'all in 2019. Let's hope my dcla friends will go as insane as you did then >:)

As I have been writing the DCLA wedding for SL, I have made the fun thing with the wedding party in a way that way Nico, Ramiro, Jazmin, Jim and Yam come down the aisle is different in each wedding.

In the Simbar one Jim and Yam walk down together and Jazmin is walked down by both of the guys.

At the Gastina wedding Jim, Yam and Jazmin walk down together while Nico and Ramiro walk together.

I am not sure how Lutteo will do it yet... but it will be different

I love getting kudos in my dcla fics because we’re a very small fandom, so i keep imagining who the people reading it are, did they actually watch the shows? Did they only watch one? Or two? Did they just find my fic by coincidence? (not likely given i only tag characters and fandoms)

So! I literally decided to do this on friday then proceeded to quickly whip it up in under an hour, and it is almost the end of the day (for me at least) so I'm barely scraping in, BUT I wrote a little drabble for day 7 of jam week!

I haven't decided whether I like it or not but I really wanted to do something for jamweek even though I'm not very good at ship fics so I thought this prompt would be the easiest for me to do :)

DCLA Telenovelas Gift Exchange 2023

Welcome or welcome back to our very own DCLA Telenovelas Gift Exchange event, 2023 edition! This year again, this event will be focused on Violetta, Soy Luna, and Bia.

Nothing new under the sun, to celebrate our love for these shows and to have as much fun as possible within the fandom, I bring you today our yearly fandom gift exchange, hoping we can all have a great time together! Just like last edition, you can get as creative as you want, your gift can take the form of fanarts, fics, gifsets, and even more! Anything that you wish to gift your partner is an option.

However, please note that the event is strictly SFW, the main goal being for anyone to be able to participate and have fun.

And now, onto deadlines:

Applications are open until the 22/02

I'll assign each participant a partner between that date and the 01/03

We will all post our gifts on the 14/05

Just like last year, the deadlines are as long as possible, I hope this will grant a stress free, agreeable and manageable event for everyone involved. Please, do not stress too much over this event, the main goal is for as many people as possible to be able to participate. Don't worry if you have little time to give to this event, I know we all have different lives and obligations and no gift is too small or too big for the exchange, it's all about having fun together!

Once again, we will all be posting our gifts on May 14th, just in time to celebrate Violetta's 11th anniversary together!!

🥺 Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels?

I gave a couple answers here and here!

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

Aside from this, I feel like it's a momentous occasion when I'm not writing from Ludmila Ferro's point of view. I didn't publish a Violetta fic that wasn't through her eyes until halfway through February, and there were about 6 one shots and 8 chapters written before that! And naturally, that has certain implications for what a fic will include.

🍦 What's the sweetest fic you've created so far?

Hm... well, readers will agree that it's pretty rare to find one of my fics that isn't tinged with some kind of angst, but I'd say the stargazing one shot from my luty month collection is the least evil overall. My 2023 dcla gift exchange fic Cerca de ti could also be a contender. That being said, everything I've published has had a happy ending, so you WILL be compensated for your angst. In anything, there are plenty of super sweet moments along the way.

Drawing fanart of mutual's fics part 3 of ?

First off is this scene from "You and me should do something" by @gaybarbiegirl

While technically a drabble, it is very good and I take every opportunity I can to draw Jim and Yam. I also really love drawing dcla characters when they were younger. And since I first read this in 2021, this very scene got stuck in my brain.

And finally for today, here is a scene from "The heart of pretending" by @putonmyfavoriteshow

This is the first time I ever have drawn Lara and this was my third attempt - while Francesca has gotten progressively not as nicely drawn at every attempt x) But I've drawn her a lot of times, you know I can do better with her, but when I finally did Lara decently I just gave up on Fran xD

Anyway, this little exchange between them just made me laugh and it's been in my head since the chapter has been posted.

I had a plan on drawing another scene from a fic, but that particular fic I could not find. I don't know if it's been deleted or if I just did not look properly, but then I gave up. I mean, I am kind of remembering it in my head but I always wanna re-read the scene so I don't accidentally forget some detail. Oh well! Maybe next time! <3

2 and 6 for the Gastina kids. And then 22: Is there any dcla character you think would be likely to end up a single parent (either choosing to from the start, or divorcing their partner and have full custody of the kids)

Okay, so Gastina will have 3 kids. Their oldest is a boy called Oscar, and he has two younger sisters Aurora and Laura. the kids are aproximately 2 years apart in age

Why did you pick those names/that name?

So, when naming any of my OCs, I more often than nopt have zero plan. I just use the name that sticks (reason why Gastón's father's name is Marco, which is the most basic latino name ever, but it has stuck). Same happens with the kids honestly.

For the Gastina kids, if we in think in universe, I think Gastón and Nina would wan to go overboard with the names. They most certanly wouldn't want give them super modern or contemporary names. What I though while naming them was just something simple and classic.

Hence Oscar and Laura. Nothing too fancy, everyone knows how to write and pronouce the names and they're pretty too.

Aurora is a little bit of her own case because, same applies to her, but I guess I came up with that name from Sleeping Beauty (in the way that I remembered that Aurora was a name that existed from that movie). But Aurora is not named after Sleeping Beauty. In universe she is named after the Northern Lights... But actually, I did not name her after Aurora Borealis and when I was writing that scene in the Nordic fic and I realized that: Oh, they will name tehir daughter Aurora, won't they. How adorable. Totally a coincedence.

Does the child/children have any planned romantic partners?

Well, I you have read Ruedas, you should know the answer to this question... I'll give you a minute to think.

You got it? Okay, I'll tell you.

First of all, the obvious answer that you should have known is Laura, because it was spelled out in the first act of Ruedas (even if Laura herself doesn't appear in the whole fic).

At the point of the time where I am writing right now, 2047, Laura is 14 and she is right now having her first boyfriend ever (She is a hopless romantic, and a little more of a stereotypical teenage girl, than like her sister, in a way that a tiny bit boy crazy....in a grounded way). His name is Alex Diaze (an OC) who also is a fellow high school fresmen, in a different school though. They met at a skating camp the previous summer where they were partnered up.

This relationship goes as well as you can imagine a relatiohship between two 14-year-olds can go... I don't wanna say that much more since I have a story being written about this.

Something I can say is that the Diazes, who are Spanish by the way, are just a tad bit itimitaded when they realize who their son's girlfriend Laura Perida is, not only the daughter of Nina and Gastón Perida, but also the grandduaghter of Isla and Marco Perida, meaning that she is in fact one of The Peridas who happen to be little bit of a big deal.

Alex's mother is a high school lietrature teacher and his dad is a firefighter, so they are much working class, which there is nothing wrong with, but they can't really fanthom their son dating a girl who not only is a daughter of a famous and succesfull author and one of the faces of Castillo Corporation's excutive team (and according the media, the next CEO), but also the third generation of the Perida dynasty and heir to a million fortune some day.

Then the second asnwer, because yes, there is a second answer.

Oscar also has a planned love interest...

Hopefully none of you are thinking who I think youre thinking. NO, it is not Stella. Stella Balsano, Luna and Matteo's daughter and Aurora's best friend might have a crush on her bestie's older brother, but that in no way shape of form will be reciprocated. Screw the tropes like: childhood friends and best friends brother, it is not gonna happen. It would not be fair to Oscar.

Anyways, to the point, his actual love interest. I don't wanna spoil too much about her either, but she was alluded to by Aurora in the end of Ruedas. What I can say is that, her name is Eliza, she has red hair and she tranferred to Blake South College few months before the end of her and Oscar's Junior year. They are "lab partners" but also became "friends" quite quickly.

We'll see where it goes from there in my fics...

Something that also should be said about Oscar is that he has his fathers inability to conceal when he really likes someone, especially from his own family.

Goodness, I've never really thogh about it, but maybe like Ramiro? I can kind of seeing him being a solo foster parent

i said one here and it kinda is in the same vibe of usually keeping things rather casual, but i don't think i have a single fic without any banter at all, i love playfulness and teasing and banter and stupid shit like this so much i'll put it everywhere, even in more serious moments

🎢 Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride?

oh this one isn't that much of a challenge i wrote the first fic ever to need the tag "cringe kink" titled after the english version of a violetta song and it included a rap inspired by wow (3racha version) like the gastiro wedding fic sure is a ride

🤩 Who is your favorite character to write?

in dcla it gotta be dieleon, they're very different to write but equally fun to me, i love diego povs SOOO much and i love his bastard way of doing things it's just so so so fun, and leon is very different but he's just as fun i love my bi men povs so much. i haven't written from her pov as much but ludmila is so so fun too tho like the ludcesca i'm writing now? SO fun i love her so much, not as comfortable as dieleon so she's still second but i love writing her she's very fun

but in general since i know you've seen haikyuu i'd say my favorite character to write overall is kuroo, i've written him a lot and i plan on writing him a lot more and nothing is more in my comfort zone that diving into kuroo's head, he's just so fun and perfect for me to write like it's second nature to write him at this point (still a bi man story you'll notice)
