Had to draw @kitsuneisi & @xmaruu11 ‘s Grian as cute guy, I couldn’t help myself ever since I stumbled across the comics of the DDVAU. Literally obsesssssssed

Hi guys! Just wanted to make a little announcement with TWO !! important messages

First of all ! On Friday the 16th at 4 pm EST me and maruu are going to make the first stream ever talking about the DDVAU and doodling about it as well

Its gonna be live at Maruu's channel ( twitch.tv/xmaruu11 ) so I hope that you guys can be there! We are gonna answer questions live, doodling and just chilling talking together with you all !

I hope this is the first of many but we will see how it goes !

Second of all, going a more serious route, I want to talk about some boundaries regarding the comic. Since this is a fan project, made by fans for fans, I feel like it's imporant to mention that we do not want Content Creators to be aware of its existance- (if that makes any sense). After all, even if it's more than just shipping, it still contains a lot of it within the story.

Being respectful not only to the CCs but also myself (I am uncomfortable with the idea of them interacting with it), I would prefer if the comic is kept in fan space. That means I would prefer if you guys don't mention it in any chat, tag CC in fanart about the AU, tag it properly on tumblr and obviously follow the CCs boundaries.

Update: I am now a ddvau fan. I just read through the comics and I absolutely love them, time to add another fandom (or sub-fandom?) to the list. I actually read this just to understand the whole Mother Spore thing, because I was seeing a lot of them (what are the pronouns??) on Tumblr and just got very very confused as to how Grian went from vigilante to... Whatever Mother Spore is. So anyways, read the comic, this is amazing. And I don't even ship Hermits. This is good even from someone who doesn't ship Grian and Scar. (Mainly because this is an au and I can separate the two realities but shush)

I do have a question regarding Cuteguy's design. Is the Watcher symbol above his head just a decoration or is this where he got his powers from? Is it just an homage to Watcher Grian or is it a hint at Watcher Grian sort of existing?

oh hi denz!! sorry this is so late, I forced myself to take an actual break (no writing no art), and also I've been on a trip over the weekend (that I am still on)

M is a cat mutant with no powers, except perhaps always being in the wrong place at the wrong time

they like reading, writing, and art. their favorite color is red-violet. they are a Hotguy fan, and they ship CG and HG together because they think it's funny that their names reflect each other.

their parents are fairly distant, not for any purposeful reason but because they are constantly working to earn enough money to support the family. They're barely affording university for them, and they're having to take several extra shifts in order to stay on top of everything

their favorite teacher is Scar or Cleo :]
