I didn't know you were a dm, can I ask about your campaign? :00 /np
Yesyesyesyesyes you can!!!! I can't share too much behind the scenes (as much as I'd love to) BC Alien will most likely see this n Munts may see it too- Putting this under a cut purely BC this is so long bc ive ended up infodump sm-
So, it started w each character getting a letter from someone they know, an old friend for Hecate and Nivaira, and Izumi's half sibling, called Ammon. (All 3 letters were from Ammon just to be clear-) Ammon invited them to his house, as well as 3 others. Eventually, Ammon made it clear that she wanted the group (all 6) to locate an amulet, but that they couldnt SAY where it was bc. Evil can hear. BC you see, Ammon, who is a divination wizard/wild magic sorcerer had been studying the amulet, and got a dream that a great evil was looking for her and got scared. So ran away. The other 2 NPCs also left. There's a lot of plot holes but shhhh-
Anyway the party found the amulet, and the party discovered that Relania, one of the others summoned by Ammon, decided to try and take the amulet, resulting in a big battle which ended with Relania tied up and. Somehow escaping. She's still loose to this day.
The second adventure had the party meet a little girl called Ruby, and her mum. Ruby's mum was exhausted from lack of sleep so told Ruby to go to her granny's house in the woods (no this isn't a werewolf adventure). The party were asked to accompany Ruby, to ensure she got to her granny's safely. The party decided that because this nice little old lady lived in a SCARY part of the woods, she was evil. So stalked Ruby's granny, Winnie. They went down a whole rabbit hole of nettle/false nettle like plants n then decided Winnie was a night hag. And then Ruby's mum died. And so Hecate (the group's researcher), decided to see if there's any way of discovering if someone was killed by a night hag post death. There is! They just needed truesight. Noone had truesight. So, they put up a notice on the community board and hoped someone followed it.
Meanwhile, the Banducci Carnival was coming to town, and the group went to the carnival that night while waiting for the post to be found. While visiting Madame Banducci, the fortune teller (and owner of the carnival), Izumi got a lil. Hypnotised. Although he acted as normal until later :)
The next day, a cloaked figure with a kitsune mask appeared to use truesight as per the notice. They called themselves "Bob" and had an awful deep southern American Etomian (the name of the country "Bob" is from) accent. "Bob" did cast truesight on the body of Ruby's mum, and yeah, it was from a hag. And then "Bob" revealed herself to be Bella Banducci, daughter of Madame Banducci. Who then got Hypnotised!Izumi to steal the amulet for her, and give it to her. The rest of the party didn't notice.
The party went back to Winnie's house, to confront her, but. Ruby and Winnie were gone. They party then discovered how hags reproduce and then went "oh shi-" as they realised exactly what had happened.
Eventually, Hecate, who was in charge of the amulet, realised it was gone, and something happened that I don't remember and eventually Bella appeared like "heyyy I've got the amulet you idiots and I'm gonna sell it BC my mom wants me to but idc who to, so you guys give me 500gp and you can have it <3" the party managed to persuade Bella to join them (she hates the carnival), as they do a 500gp bounty (to retrieve an object)
THE CURRENT ADVENTURE!
The party follow the bounty to Sirraux', an expensive artifacts shop, ran by Monsieur Sirraux, a tiefling. It had the object the party needed to retrieve - a dwarf's magic pickaxe - buutt Sirraux didn't wanna give it up. In exchange, it asked the party to collect a sample of an interesting flora on an island far away. It got it's dwarf assistant to bring the party to the island. It was an island that Nivaira knew very well :). It was also infested with mushrooms. Currently they just got to Nivairas hometown, where all the people have been turned into evil myconids (evil mushroom ppl). Fun times!
There's also Eiwin Tamiel, an important NPC who hasn't been adventure relevant yet but will be! Just you wait for the Christmas special!!! He's a human cleric (???) and works in a small artifact / trinket shop. They're also definitely crushing on Ammon <3 Who is definitely not crushing on him back <3 I ship them sm- they write notes to each other in celestial and arghkejrjfkwf i cant share all the cute info bout them bc. Spoilers.
ANYWAY if you read all that well done, I'm impressed-
Now tell me bout your campaign :DDD

Lifespan angst dialogue #1, because I love suffering. I'm thinking Vaxleth, but I'll also take the twins (doesn't have to be MFL related, whatever you feel like).
“It’s not til death do us part for us, is it? It’s until death takes you from me.” yeah i don't think i'm gonna make it mfl but i don't see her becoming an archdruid and living a bajillion years in that one, but this honestly feels like a vex thing to say so i'll throw the perc'ahlia shippers a bone with this one. (i gotta stop talking like i don't ship them too before i alienate this entire fandom lol)
When he asks her the question, she's sure he's joking. They're in the middle of the Parchwood, one of the many hunting trips she's dragged him out on, mostly to make sure he gets sunlight and fresh air and something to stare at that isn't tiny and mechanical. Trinket's off swatting at fish in a stream, and Vex is staring at him, dumbstruck.
"I asked you a question, Vex'ahlia, did you hear me?"
Did she hear him? It's all she can hear, echoing round and round in her mind at an increasingly loud volume. Do you want to go get married? He asked it as if he were asking Do you want to go out for dinner? or Do you want to visit Zephrah this weekend?, so nonchalant and casual.
As if he didn't know the question would have her immediately sweating bullets. "I...what?"
"You might want to let go of your bow, dear, before you snap it in two."
Her eyes dart down to her hand, which, oh, yeah, is gripping her bow so tightly her knuckles are white. She drops it, stretches her fingers out slowly. "Are you...was that your idea of a proposal?"
Percy shrugs, leaning back against a towering pine tree. His entire body language is incredibly laid-back, and Vex could knock his teeth out for it. "I've got a ring for you. It's back at the castle. My...great-great-grandmother's, if I recall. I thought it'd be nicer to ask you out here, where you're...I don't know, in your element."
"In my element." Vex is having a thousand thoughts, and she's having all of them at the same time. Here? Now? Is this his idea of romance? And what does he mean by go get married? Take a quick jaunt down to the local temple, sign some paperwork, be home by dinner? Is there to be a wedding? Who will be their witnesses? Do they need witnesses? What about Vax? Cassandra? Keyleth? Vox Machina? If her brother isn't there, she'll cry. If Tary isn't there, he'll cry. What is her title, then, if they're married? Can she be the lady of Whitestone and Baroness of the First House and Grand Mistress of the Grey Hunt? What does the ring look like?
It could be good, to get it out of the way. Out of the way—it's not a chore, Vex'ahlia, it's pledging yourself to one person until you die. Well, until he dies. Oh gods. Oh gods, he's going to die. He already has died, but for real, he's going to die, and Vex will live a long, long time without him. Years. Decades. Possibly even longer than she'll live with him. And their kids—of course they'll have kids. A gaggle of them, likely, and it'll have to be soon so he's not a geriatric father.
"Hey." His voice, quiet, smooth, interrupts her internal maelstrom. "You're freaking out."
"Yeah, a bit," she laughs. She tugs nervously on her braid. "You want to get married? Now?"
"Why not?" He quirks a smile, but there's something melancholy just at the edges of his eyes. "I can't wait forever, Vex'ahlia."
She knows what he's not saying. It's the thing she fears most in the world. "I know you can't," she whispers. "And...it's not that I want to wait. I don't." She does, but she doesn't know what she's waiting for. "I just...wow. Marriage. It's...it's big."
"It is." He stands, crosses the little clearing they've been resting in, and plops down beside her, lacing his fingers in hers. "Is it scary?"
"Not...marriage. But...everything that comes after, I guess."
"The baby in the baby carriage?" he quips.
She elbows him in the side. "No, you ass. It's..." She doesn't want to say it, doesn't want to make it real.
"What is it? Don't want to vow 'til death do us part with me?"
"Except it's not 'til death do us part for us, is it? It's until death takes you from me."
The clearing is suddenly quiet, their awkward silence interrupted only by Trinket's irritated pawing at the water behind them. Percy's face is frustratingly unreadable. He's looking at her with that same placid patience that Vax mastered years ago—have they been colluding on how best to drive her crazy?
She caves. "I'm sorry." She rips her hands from his and covers her face. "I'm sorry."
"Vex'ahlia." Long, deft fingers pry her hands away, and there are his eyes, oh, she really does love his eyes. "You know you don't have to apologize to me. Not for this. Not for anything, really."
"Hmm, don't write me a blank check, darling," she says dryly.
He laughs at that. "Fair enough." He sighs. "Do you know how long I've been waiting for you to say that?"
"Say what?"
"Say that you're going to outlive me."
She feels the itch under her skin, the one that tells her she needs to be moving, needs to be out of this place. "Let's not—we don't have to—"
"But we do, because you will. You will have a long, vibrant, full life, and I can't tell you how sorry I am that I'm going to miss so much of it."
Her eyes burn and her throat is tightening. "I just...I don't want to. Live that full life without you. I don't want all those years without you in them."
He pulls her in, tucks her head under his chin and wraps his arms around her. She curls into him, the tears coming hot and fast. "I'm sorry," he whispers. "I'm so, so sorry." She cries into his coat like a child, but she can't bring herself to stop. He's right (always annoyingly right), she hasn't ever said it out loud, hasn't even said it to herself. She knows Vax and Keyleth have long been grappling with the massive difference between their expected lifespans, and in the context of the centuries she'll live without him, what are the few decades Vex will spend mourning Percy? What right has she to spin herself in circles when Keyleth will watch everyone she knows and loves wither and die?
Because oh, what an ache. It is a blade, his short life, hanging over their bed by a thread. It is a shadow always looming on the edges of her vision. She will bury this man someday, lay him to rest among his ancestors and wake up the next day and the next day and the next until she forgets, forgets the crinkle of his eye when he smiles and the smell of gunpowder in his hair and the sounds of his low oaths when he's encountered a puzzle he can't solve. Someday he will be a ghost in her memories, and she will never not be haunted again.
But fuck. He's worth it.
He presses a kiss to the crown of her head. "I hope you know that there is no one else in the world I'd rather grow old in front of." She snorts out a wet laugh. "Seriously, do you know how lucky I am to know that I'll be old and wrinkled and stooped and my wife will still be stupidly hot?"
"Stop," she chuckles, straightening up in his arms. "You're such a jerk."
"Of course, but that's why you love me."
"It is, and I do." She puts her hands on either side of his face. "I do, so very much. For as many years as I have with you, and all the years after."
His smile turns mischievous. "Enough to marry me?"
She rolls her eyes and kisses him, long and deep. "Yes," she whispers against his lips, "you idiot, I will marry you."
She shrieks out a laugh when he tackles her back onto the forest floor, and when he kisses her again, he does not stop until the air grows cold and sky darkens to the color of a raven's wing.

Geats episode 14 liveblog:
What an episode full of delicious info! Obviously spoilers.
- lol, Game master getting annoyed at predictable winner situation?
- Keiwa-kun being the super nice guy again
- yes Neon, I'm also wondering about Ace's secret plan.
- woo, Keiwa using command twin buckle already! Good good, no drama like boost.
- punkjack didn't write aaanything for a wish, not even a silly one.....
- *gasp* yesss! Jamatos showing traits of dead riders, because they're grown from broken ID cores!! What did I write in that episode.... Ah, so Jamatos are kinda like... Reborn...plant...people....??
- hmm, So red-hat girl was an illusion created by the Jamato, and it can make hallucination inducing pollens. Very cool.
- Ace directly asking important questions.
- btw, punkjack may not know about Ace's wish to join every game, but Ace definitely realized that simply eliminating him won't accomplish anything, right? His memory will only be lost for this game, he'll get it back when the next game begins. Killing him is the only option for game master.
- Neon's valid concern. Sigh... Sometimes you do need certain people...
- hello bodyguard-san! What's Neon's gonna ask...
- I expected punkjack to betray game master, but he betrayed punkjack first? Ahaha
- sweet exposition time! My favorite!
- the superstar wish had deeper reasons after all. This kinda has a parallel with Neon making videos to get noticed too.
- yay, detective bodyguards!
- woahh Ben and John already used to be riders!! That means definitely on screen henshin in future episodes too!
Congrats Tom Constantine for becoming a rider on top of joining the cast! Woah, what a dream come true!
What are the motifs, white tiger?
- 'sponsor' huh. And DGP even needs funds. Curious how these things actually works considering the reality bending powers they have...
Is there an alien with superpower 'sponsoring' these things? Lol.
- punkjack backstory. His music career wasn't a lie, woah
- Ace's mom was a navigator? Ok! Did she became the main boss behind everything, or did something and got banned or something... I wonder.
- Yeah, we're also thinking you should know game master's identity, Ace-kun.
- oh, thank you! Thank goodness it was Ace's plan to deliberately let Michinaga take the driver, I'm glad the slyness isn't totally gone 😁
- "what am I doing with my life" thats what I wonder everyday too, dear punkjack.
- by the way, Neon has a very practical hairstyle this episode.
- little deception lesson Punkjack and game master should learn: don't reveal your plan before fully achieving your goal. (I'm not a criminal consultant btw)
- Game master henshin time! Vision driver huh, a totally different system than regular riders. With fingerprint scan n all. Girori become glare. The suit is cool
- and he can even do mind control, wow, scary!
- episodes almost ending, when's that preview scene of Ace worriedly looking at his ID core at... I had some ideas about that scene.
I was thinking maybe Game master will 'deactivate' Geats ID core, to ensure he can't even henshin with ANY driver at all.
- Ace just went poof eliminated? The scene was so short, nooo Takahashi-san, there could've been much more drama here..!
More twists please (lol)
But again, Game master can't seriously be content with just eliminating Ace, unless... He's planning the murder while Ace doesn't remember anything and is vulnerable, outside the game, with some trick that doesn't revive him👀😳? *Dan dan daaan!*
- lol at the rule!
Well well, we got the visual of Ace-kun being eliminated! That's actually not a big deal, cuz anytime he can come in contact with an ID core and remember everything, most likely Keiwa himself will go ahead and do that. Plus the upper management seems to be on his side, heck, wouldn't be surprised if he already has a backup plan and hid a spare ID core in his room! Basically, he can very easily join again very soon, maybe next episode. So Geats isn't gone yet. But I'm actually waiting for his apperant 'death' sometime.
(I'm starting to sound like an ominous witch with all the 'Ace will die' talk 😝)

I think I haven't shared the second outline/version of the story of the Gem!Shinichi Au
This drawing looked cool in my imagination hahahaha-
This follow some rules of Steven Universe but nothing about the canon of Steven Universe, lol Google traductor helping as always
Shinichi is in a mirror, sleeping, The mirror is know as the "Reflection of the blue tomorrow" — The mirror is considered art because the Sapphire that crowns it, under the right light, distort the colors of the mirror creating a reflection with a blue hue. — People think is a cursed Mirror because people claims that can show a gruesome image, usually the death of the person getting reflected, that vision eventually is gonna come true, people debate if is a curse or if is actually showing the future. — The mirror has been around since 1891
Kaito Kid didn't had interest on it, a gem that curses people with death sounds like the opposite of pandora. — Of course he hear some shady men in black talking about stealing the gem — "I'm going to steal it to spite them." — Kaito debates if he should return the gem later, if he returns it, maybe they would try to steal it again, and he don't want to give them anything, he don't send a note
Before taking the Gem from the mirror, Kaito see something terrible in the reflection, a men in black holding a gun, ready to kill him. — he turns around, he is alone "Ok, that was scary, You took years of my life with that stupid jumpscare, stupid gem"
Under the moonlight, he see in the reflection of the Sapphire the same image again, he evades death thanks to it.
The Gem ends in the floor, behind the men in black with the fight.
In the chaos Shinichi reforms and helps Kaito with the element of surprise!
Kaito is trying to understand what just happened.
Shinichi is partially amused with the situation "Be thankful that thanks to me you still have years of life, stupid thief"
Kaito don't have much option, isn't like he can... return the gem? so they end living together, sharing info and---
Kaito: "What do you mean that there is a secret alien race of gem people?!" Shinichi *Distracted with all the new technology, because he's been sleeping since 1891* Yeah Yeah, but I really need to know this... Arthur Conan Doyle has written more novels after The Sign of the Four? Kaito loudly groans because of course the ancient alien gem is a Sherlock Holmes fan.

The Giggle
Below the cut
Oh, so it is historic.
Can we please have a toymaker-type figure with modern games? You don't see any name brands or anything, but there's meeples and twenty-sided dice in the background.
The whole 'inventing television' bit makes me think this is a tribute to last year's BBC centenial.
Hoping we get an explaination of where Wilf ended up between the end of last week and this episode. Probably they just shoved him in the TARDIS console room.
Please tell me you have Osgood--
Oh, so, UNIT takes care of Wilf. Good.
UNIT should NOT have a glossy skyscraper. Is the advisor replacing Osgood in the televised UNIT stories? Can't remember her name. Mel Bush working for UNIT. Hmm, not sure about it.
Honestly, 'people only being concerned about themselves and not accepting otherwise" is fairly standard.
What's up with Kate?
Honestly, 'out-of-character hate' is sort of weird as a marker of an alien invasion...
Trinity Wells, newcastor for disasters.
1925.... hmm...
Donna met Martha, though, so this seems a bit odd of a reaction to seeing Mel.
This was in the trailer. The ball looks like a billiard ball painted like a pokemon ball.
Honestly, I never took the 'Celestial' part of the Toymaker's title to be a reference to Chinese ethnicity. Took it as 'heavenly."
Puppets are kinda scary, but like, not, at the same time.
Amy Pond, Clara, Bill,
Hmm... another mystery in the wings.
Not sure how well this is gonna age. Just... if something is done super-contemporary, it also becomes very dated. When did Donna become a computer genius?
This version of the Toymaker reminds me of Q, with the costumes and the appearances and such...
Kate is not this dumb. She's supposed to be a scientist!
Galvanic beam? Isn't 'galvanic" mentioned in Curse of Fatal Death? No, that's 'eitheric beam emitters"
This speech reminds me of Ten's appeal to the Master at the end of season 3.
I mean, yes, anything specific would be dated, but at least allude to eurogames.
Regeneration? Oh man? That's kinda anticlimactic.
There are rules about what kind of creatures are allowed to kill the Doctor, or at least, like, I feel like I should list it--what's he died of in the past:
Old age
Forced regeneration
Radiation
Fall from a great height
Spectox toxaemia
'Hitting head on console'
Gunshot wound leading to surgical complications
Spaceship crash.
Absorbing the energy of the Time Vortex
Radiation
Old age
Cyberman wound
Attack by the Master
Very few are due to direct attack.
Of course, hand picking up creepy tooth.
Continuity cavalcade.
Sarah Jane Smith mention.... waaaawww
Are we gonna get another Handy-Doctor situation?
Why is Ncuti running around without pants? This just makes me think of Julian from Ghosts.
I have to think of this as an extended Watcher-situation, from the Fourth-Fifth regeneration.
Imagine if they could have done that with Tentoo, giving him a TARDIS...
So, eyebrow language totally had to be Twelve.
Wilf should totally be here. He should.
Not sure what I think of it.
