#personal#debated doing some more drastic pattern alterations with more dramatic curves but then it's like. why do that to myself#sewing convex to concave is already going to be a pain#and it's gonna be black on black so like. it won't even show up in photos probably#still debating the pocket question but I think if I don't add pockets it's gonna drive me nuts#I was thinking waist tape but actually.. I can do sort of. an internal patch pocket kind of deal#the fabric is stretchy tho but it's also pretty mid/heavy weight? so hopefully I don't need to stabilize it lmao#maybe I can reverse line it w muslin or sth#I will have to redraft the sleeves which is gonna be a pain#but I need to figure out the rest of it before I get to that lmao#debating doing a high neck by raising the pattern pieces without adding a separate piece/seam#I will have the V to maybe throw some of the extra fullness into...?#tbh I would still love to make this backless like. conceptually#but then I'd have to figure out putting in a built-in bra and I'd have to WEAR it backless lmao#and like. maybe I would adapt to that but. non-backless will still be the easier sell..#lowkey think I may need to just cut into my main fabric bc I can draw on the V all I want but I don't think I'll know if I like it until I#actually try it on....#I hope I don't have to do anything else w the armscye bc armscye alterations are a paaain
