a fun little observation I noticed the other day is that in every bracket that has happened since the show aired, Phaya from The Sign has been in it (horny on main, himbo, unhinged, poor little meow meow) EXCEPT this one. listen I am #1 Phaya fan for life but homeboy is too much of a glaring red flag lmao

another fun observation is that ZERO of the characters in The Poorest Little Meow Meow bracket are also in The Greenest Flag bracket (which of course makes sense since one the qualifiers for plmm was to be morally dubious but still it's quite fun to me to notice). no overlap whatsoever. there are two types of men in bls

on the one hand, i am generally pro letting students submit homework after the due date with no penalty. on the other hand, i was the kind of student who would procrastinate as much as i could get away with even if it fucked me over in the end, and this is an 8 week course where they can't afford to fall behind. my compromise is to deduct 1% of their homework grade per day late for any problems that they don't finish by the due date. even if they put everything off until the end of the course, they can get close to 50% of the total grade, but students tend to worry about even the smallest deduction so i'm hoping it's an incentive not to fall behind.

I have to say that this sherlock rewatch is proving to be fascinating. Back in the day I latched on to the johnlock and fun crime-solving aspects of the show rather than the overt political propaganda. Literally it all boils down to Mycroft and his position in the british government and their fight against "terrorism" and the protection of the status quo. All the "bad guys" know they can get to him through Sherlock bc he is a vulnerable idiot (for all his "intelligence"). It's actually kind of compelling in a way because it's a show set from the POV of what should be side-characters...in any other show, Mycroft would be the protagonist. But no. Instead we see all the action peripherally in the way it affects his younger asshole brother.

at least we now know that neither Marinette or Adrien are aware of him being a senti. after the S3 final we all assumed Adrien knew Rena Rouge and Carapace's identity, because it was so evident: cue Rocketear. after Félix and Kagami's theater kid nonsense we all thought Marinette finally knew Hawkmoth's identity, because how could she not? : cue Confrontation.

If you need an extension PLEASE look at how to get an extension it is literally so easy.

You fill out a lil form that’s less than half a page (it doesn’t ask why you need an extension) and send that and a check for whatever you paid last year (if anything.) When you do your tax forms later, just add what you sent to the taxes you’ve paid this year and if you overpaid, you’ll get the difference like a normal refund.
