The shore is warm, he almost wants to take his boots off and feel the sand radiating under his soles.

But he refrains himself. This is not a leisure trip. The pathfinder, his hood ever present, watches the coast. He looks for an opening, an answer to an enigma he has not figured out quite just yet.

A small light emanated from his wrist, dispensing an holographic picture floating lazily before him as he reviewed its content. He is at the right place, at the right time to witness the resting pmace of a civilisation long gone. A splinter from the echidnas of old, who had traveled far and wide during their apogee.

And without even a whisper, they were gone, taking within their grave the answer to many questions. A problematic mistake Glenndolyn was planning on fixing as soon as he would make sense of the information he'd been given, of course.

💪 - PRIDE - What is my muse proud of about themselves?  In particular what do they lord over others, intentionally or unintentionally?

There’s pretty much not a single thing Tough does that’s unintentional. He’s cruel, calculating, and pretty much means everything he says and does. If he says he’s going to kill you, he’s not joking. Immediacy is not a factor.

As for what he’s proud of, Tough Love has a lot of pride for who he is as a person, for creating the Surprisingly Severe, for rising up from the ashes when he should have died. 

He has pride in not dying, in being strong and deadly and a name to be feared. He feels intense pride whenever people show the slightest hint of being afraid of him. He’s worked long and hard for this. 

Being disrespected is like being branded with a hot iron--it’s a jab at everything he is, intentionally or not.
