“I swear if you don’t jump on the trapeze bar right now—”

“I fucking can’t, Mick, without tilting it—” He throws the controller down, head in his hands.

He led his character to death, so the game restarts.

“Well, going idle sure isn’t gonna make it better.” Mickey inhales. “Okay, let’s try again. Jump with me.”

He nods.

“‘Kay, jump down, then use the air to propel yourself to get the gem.”

He does as he’s told, and soon they arrive at the end.

“Retried a bunch, but our final time is sweet. Maybe we do make a good team, Gallagher.”
