Continuing on my stint of making some normal looking clothes for normal looking sims, here's a retexture of the BG dress! It's got a skirt which is an edit of Aquil's default, and the top part is pretty much Witheredlilies/Amaryll's Alice Dress bodice mixed with MDP's Plain Tee, with some added hand painted details on the shoes.

There's 16 recolours in either dress or seperates styles, and they come in Aelia's colours and some patterns. AF only, categorised as everyday. The afbodydress default uses the Rose, Blue dot and Navy floral recolours.

Reccomended but not required (thus not included) is @pforestsims mesh edit default, which is shown in all the pictures. It won't look weird if you don't have it bar a small dark patch on the shoes, but I'd really strongly reccomend it for the shaping.

Hair default replacements part 1, theme: alpha edits

These are all in the New Hair System (NHS). These were made a while ago so I can't remember all the details but I'll credit as much as I remember! I've tried to make the files small, so no unnecessary extra textures or stuff that doesn't belong.

I also have no idea how to make normal custom non default hairs, so just defaults, but if anyone wants to use these textures to make them, go ahead!

hairrockabilly -> replaced with Wings ER0505 (14K poly, mesh by Wings converted by microscotch), normally AF-EF only, TF age added. I've removed some of the little hairs on the side of the face because they looked messy and out of place to my eyes. You can see the original clearly in Seaben's picture here if you want a comparison.

I think I used the textures made by @y2sims here, I just edited them. Original default replacement by LoosiaP and Seaben.

hairmob -> replaced with Jakea Boombayah (5K poly, mesh by Jakea converted by VictoriaSims, mesh edit by Digitalangels), normally PF only, CF-EF added. I used the shorter alpha by @goatskickin here (no picture though) for toddlers, the rest of the ages have the longer version. See my picture for the difference. I noticed the mesh has a small gap on the back of the toddler mesh which becomes visible with the shorter hair, but it's hopefully not too noticeable unless you look for it.

Retextured and defaulted all by myself (😊).

hairhatbonnet_pinkplaid -> replaced with Skysims 109 (18.5k poly, mesh by Skysims), normally PF only, CF-EF added. Slight edit to remove the strands underneath the buns, I didn't like them. You can see the original removed strands on this picture by Epi (or just click on the Skysims link if you don't mind visiting TSR).

Retextured by me and used a base by Rudhira for my default because I still don't understand all those clone files.

edelgard is such an interesting character in the sense she can be both an amazing protagonist (if u go CF) and also easily one of the most interesting antagonists in the game between her goals and her/byleth being narrative parallels no matter what route meanwhile i feel like dimitri's potential only really gets utilized effectively in azure moon. his character arc in his own route is the most personally investing out of the house leaders imo while in other routes hes mainly just an OK secondary antagonist lol

him as the tempest king had some good ideas and implications but not really explored much sadly meanwhile he just gets killed offscreeen in verdant wind lmao

like... i remember seeing a guy posting on reddit like "hey, im enjoying dark souls a lot rn but i have kids and a job and dont have as much time to learn it as id like and i'm stuck at this part, does anyone know any ways to cheat or make my characters stronger so I can finish the game" and a bunch of gamer dudes just replied with a bunch of inspirational quotes about learning from defeat and never giving up but its like... dudes... the guy already got the gist of the game... he understands the philosophy he just doesnt have the time.... give him the fucking cheat so he can see the rest.... like damn!!! damn!!!

that guy is not gonna be like "oh dark souls is boring bcs its too easy i never die to anything" he knows already!!! he knows hes cheating!! its fine!!! he can still enjoy the world and the boss designs and stuff in a way.

As long as you're aware youre missing stuff by using easy mode or walkthroughs or hacks or savescumming in sigle player games... youre totally fine doing so!!!!!!! you PAID FOR HTE GAME ALREADY!!!! you can enjoy it however you want man... guiltless, just do ur thing, have fun. be free.

is it just me or is hades 2 so much easier than the first game? like at first i thought "holy shit im a gamer" and im definitely BETTER at this game type than i used to be

but then i played lots of the first one while i was out of town and my god. i wish i had thanatos' pin in the second game cuz it is so much easier to go hitless in the first realm of that one than in the other. i get to chronos with more death defiances than i do the fucking satyrs

I have bigger (read nicer, aha) CC sets ready to go which I haven't uploaded yet, becuase I wanted to make sure that the previews actually show them properly and my work has been taking up all my time... so I'm uploading some of the smaller things I've been working on in the meantime, aha.

Here's *a lot* of recolours of the BG slacks heels mesh!

First up a set of solids in 12 Aelia colours with boots from BG and NichellerJ's shoe edit. As well as a texture default using the colours shown in the swatch. TF-EF, casual, formal and outerwear. TF and EF are repo'd to AF (sorry for lack of standalone versions today, I forgor these trousers had multiple ages). Default replacement replaces the texture of tfbottomslacksheels, afbottomslacksheels, and efbottomslacksheels and makes them availible for the same catergories as the custom versions. Because it's a texure replacement, it's compatible with mesh replacements, and the AF version shown in the preview and swatches is actually shown with @pforestsims mesh edit!
